It was a cute house and well kept yard. My grandkids liked it and got to know all the frogs personally. Told them goodnight every night. Plan on having to put sheets on the sleep sofa when you arrive if you’re going to use it. It was very clean and well supplied to get started. Be aware the street floods if there’s a big rain while you’re there. There is a back way to get out without having to drive through the water.

For a last-minute emergency switch, the Gnome House came in clutch. It was immaculate, on a quiet road, and had a dedicated parking area. It was perfect for my husband and I, but small, more than two people would be a squeeze (couch is a pull-out). It was centrally located, although the island is so small that walking everywhere is a possibility. The screened-in porch was nice to sit in. Check-in was a little nerve-wracking only because I didn't receive the text letting me know the address and way of accessing the property the day off; however the rental company did tell me that beforehand and assured it would be ready by 5 p.m. (it was ready about 1 or 2 I believe). Check-out was really easy, it automatically checked out and we just had to be out by 10 a.m.
