This home is historical and fantastic in all aspects. The location is super and convenient to all area attractions. The owner lives on the vast property and is very gracious and helpful and responds to inquiries quickly. We have stayed here before and it will certainly be our go-to place when we visit San Antonio. The home is very well stocked with items you will need, the best stocked home we have ever rented. The deer and the peaceful atmosphere of the area only add to the experience. Well worth the money.

This home was everything we expected. Quiet and peaceful while being located close to town. Beds were comfy and plenty of pillows, blankets, and linens. Eddie stayed on site the entire time to provide 24/7 support (threw feed out for deer every morning) and was the best host! Will definitely be staying here when I visit SA again.

Great Holiday Weekend

Great property , Eddie showed us around then we never knew he was on the same property. Deer feeding in the yard and the beautiful hills. I would stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful home in a serene setting

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was beautiful and had all of the amenities that we needed. It was close enough to the things we wanted to do, but out in the country. The kids enjoyed watching the deer come in and eat the corn that the owner had put out. If we’re back near San Antonio, we’d definitely rebook this location. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

A place to get away

Three old friends had a 4 day golf outing. We each had our own room. Kitchen had everything we needed. Had nice table for playing cards at night. We'll be staying again if occasion arises.

Great Property-Outstanding Host

This vintage residence is exactly what we were expecting and looking for. All of the charm of 1800's America with the modern amenities we enjoyed. Great location with easy access to all we needed. The home was well stocked on arrival and saved us a ton of money at the store. We have stayed in many rental homes all over the country and can safely say that Eddie is the best host we have ever had. We will be back in 2025!!

Tennis trip getaway

We are always unsure of where we will be playing with tennis trips we take for sons school. So we just try to get a vaction home that suits us and enjoy the outdoors or scenery. This place was within 30 mins of everywhere we needed to be and a cozy, historic property that felt like home by the time we left. We had 3 couples in our group and it was so nice to have our own bathrooms and rooms and the indoor/outdoor space to use. We made a fire one night which is right up our alley and utilized the patios often. Will stay here again if in this area!
