The Birdhouse is located on the scenic Withlacoochee just down stream from the confluence of the Rainbow and Withlacoochee rivers. The house has an open space floor plan with a newly renovated interior, queen-sized bed, a large screened porch with rocking chairs overlooking the river. This river house property also includes a smart tv, WiFi, Ring doorbell as well as a fire pit and bbq grill. The large yard is completely fenced for your pets enjoyment. The Birdhouse location is also minutes from the Blue Run and Withlacoochee trails. There's loads of room for boat parking as well.

The Birdhouse is in an ideal location for boating, canoeing, kayaking, cycling, hiking, birdwatching and fishing. You will have quick access to the local waterfront restaurants by land or water from this property. Remember, relaxing in the hammock is always an option after kayaking, cycling or sightseeing.

The Birdhouse is a peaceful little house on the river! Very quiet and secluded, restaurants close by! We loved watching the birds and the boats go by! It's very dog friendly which we loved! Dana is a great host! We highly recommend this little gem of a place!

Absolutely love this place! This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back. The yard is amazing and fenced for our dogs. It is right on the water and we loved relaxing on the dock or the screened in porch. Such a cozy home and Dana is such a welcoming host! Could not recommend this place more!!!

Would highly recommend the birdhouse. We loved staying there. Very convenient for cyclist and paddle boarding. We also thought the little gator that would come up to the dock in the afternoons was pretty awesome. Very nice place.

Our third time to visit. You can’t beat the peace & quiet intertwined with nature, birds, river. Dana (host) is a gem! Property is well maintained, house is older but nicely decorated with a river theme…. Nothing negative at all. It’s secure, simple, well lit, close to tubing, fishing off the dock… he even has a canoe, kayaks and bikes. Pets welcome.

Just what the doctor ordered. Peace and quiet. Clean and the gift basket with the wonderful apple and cinnamon mini bread was great. Everything you need is in there. Great screened in front deck was very relaxing. Great view of the river. Close to everything you need but also secluded. The only thing was the AC unit was a little loud but I still give 5 stars.
