About Keith & Jo

Keith and I live in England and are lucky to be able to spend several months of the year in lovely Istria, we are in Istria most of the summer and are here to help you if required. We would be very happy to discuss and answer any questions you may have. As we have spent a considerable amount of time in Istria I think we can give more local information than you would normally obtain from a brochure, or browsing the internet.

Why Keith & Jo chose Tar

We love this area because it has excellent access from many airports, as well as being easy driving distance from the UK. The surrounding area has so much to offer and the coastline is amazing with it's many islands and inlets complimented by the crystal clear warm water of the Adriatic. The countryside is very unspoilt and the local people are so friendly. Istria was once part of Italy and you will see the Italian influence with architecture and wonderful cuisine. There are great restaurants in the village of Tar together with bars and bakeries offering excellent pastries, coffee and ice creams at prices you will find very pleasing. The neighbouring towns of Novigrad and Porec offer similar variety on a larger scale, seafood, steaks, pasta and pizzas are all of excellent quality. What makes this Villa unique

The small Bella Vista complex is very unusual having a floodlit all weather tennis court and a pool, both of which are only a few steps from our door. The house is a short walk from the village centre, yet in a quiet location. We love the tennis court and pool, and swimming in the warm sea at any of the local beaches is a treat. You really can do as much or as little as you like at Bella Vista.
