This lovely three bedroom villa is in a very private location, benefiting from panoramic countryside and coastline views. Surrounded by immaculate gardens and tropical banana plantations, the location is perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The superb accommodation is set over one level and sandy beaches, a selection of shops and restaurants are found within a short stroll. The accommodation is set over one level and comprises of an open-plan living/dining room, comfortably furnished. The kitchen is separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar with stools and is equipped with all modern conveniences including microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and ceramic hob. Beautiful Family Villa!

We would love to come to this villa again! As the other reviews suggest it is very clean, tidy, spacious and has everything you require - home from home. The pool and garden area is private and beautiful. Nikos is a wonderful host and is very happy to help, should you need it. Overall - fantastic!

We have booked our 4th visit to Bananorama

This is our 3rd visit to Bananorama and we have now booked for this 2015. Why? The villa is our home from home, it is clean, tidy and the kitchen has everything that you need if you want to cook for yourselves, also you are not far, (car or taxi) to some lovely little restaurants, the guest book is full of ideas from previous occupants whether you have a family or are a couple. The pool area and the gardens add to the feeling of luxury and escapism from the life we have in the UK. These areas are cared for by Nickos the owner who will also advise you if you need anything. (please note that he is very respectful of you in the villa and does not intrude). The pictures are a very accurate reflection of what you will find when you arrive, I am sure that you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful villa with great views and amenities!

This was our first time as a family booking a villa- I was very nervous especially since we were travelling with our 5 young children! I was pleasantly overwhelmed with the perfection of the villa! It ticked all the boxes for us as family-the pool was perfect! It was safe and my children spent most their time swimming/splashing in the pool! The facilities ie dishwasher and washing machine were also very handy especially with a large family! There are many local shops/restaurants! We even found a few halal places to eat which was an added bonus! We hired a car as Cyprus has the same as the with U.K. driving standards/rules. I highly recommend this as it’s much easier to get around to places. Thank you Nikos for being such an attentive host - you were very good at checking in on us and supporting us whenever we needed any help! We will definitely be back to Cyprus and to the Bananorama Villa - this time we will stay much longer!! Cyprus is a beautifully country with so many lovely views - we look forward to coming back again!

VRBO had haar zaken niet up to date waardoor we voor een dichte deur stonden en niet verwacht werden door de inmiddels nieuwe eigenaren. Heel naar voor beide partijen. Uiteindelijk een prima vakantie dankzij betrokkenheid van de eigenaar. Met VRBO doe ik geen zaken meer.

Beautiful villa and very well managed

This was our first visit to Cyprus (4 adults, 2 young kids) and we were very pleased with our choice of accommodation. The villa is very spacious and has a fantastic pool and entertainment area. Great patio to watch the amazing sunsets from! It is a bit dated inside but it is clean and spacious and has everything you need. Nikos manages the property very well, is friendly and always available. The villa does initially feel like it’s in the middle of nowhere in between banana fields and with only one other house on the road. But when you explore a bit you realise there are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance (albeit across the busy main road unfortunately). The beach is about a 15 min walk or 2 mins by car. Coral Bay is 10 mins by car, Paphos centre/harbour similar. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Wonderful villa!

Really beautiful location, sea views from the terrace and pool and bedrooms! Fabulous garden, lots of space inside and out. Nikos is a great host, very helpful and provided a brilliant welcome pack! We truly relaxed on our week in Banaorama villa, just what we needed. Planning our return trip already....!

Schöner als auf den Fotos!

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und ordentlich und die Fotos werden dem nicht gerecht! Es gab eine komplette Zwischenreinigung inklusiv neuer Bettwäsche/Handtücher und ein Willkommenspaket mit Essen und Getränken. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Wir (4 Personen) haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und können die Villa sehr empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vielen Dank!

Stunning villa, perfect host and location

One of the nicest villas we have stayed in by some margin, everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained from bed linen to the gardens. Before our arrival we received instructions for collecting the keys and the owner, Nikos dropped in just after our arrival to welcome us and provide a tour of the villa which set the scene for our stay. Always on hand for advice or to chat, Nikos was a fantastic host and a genuinely nice guy. Although we had no problems at all during our stay it was nice to know he was close by to have a talk too. We had a slight mishap while horse riding and Nikos immediately offered to use his contacts for my wife to see a doctor - so don't be afraid to ask. As others have said, the photos don't do the villa justice. The layout is perfect with a very large kitchen, dining and lounge area which leads out to an under cover car port at one end (a huge bonus in the heat!) and out to the pool area at the other. Just outside the lounge is a seating area which stays shaded all day (perfect for reading etc.) which leads out to large areas around all sides of the pool offering endless places to sunbathe in peace or splash in and out of the pool. Another seating area by the BBQ is a great vantage point to watch the sunset. While on the subject of the pool - it was crystal clear and one of the best we've had at a villa. Half shallow, sloping into a deep end of 1.8m. All the bedrooms have large doors opening onto the pool area while internally opening onto the same hallway. The two near identical twin rooms are opposite a spacious bathroom with the master suite at the end of a corridor having it's own bathroom (the bathroom shown in the pictures) accessed through a dressing room area). All bedrooms have a vast amount of clothes hanging space and drawers. The villa is ideally situated between Coral Bay and Paphos town. While you wouldn't walk to either, there is a bus stop at the end of the short road and a really good restaurant in the same location. We'd go so far as to say location wise it's perfect - close to amenities etc. but far enough away to be quiet. Having a car makes the ideal holiday as you can get anywhere easily. We've always pre-booked and rented for the duration of our holiday but there are dozens of places to rent a car, quad bike or similar very close by. We planned to visit beaches and waterparks but didn't feel the need - it's such a pleasant place to be that we wanted to stay all day!

Beautiful Villa, fantastic owner

We had the best time at this villa. Nikos was amazing as the first evening we arrived a member of our family has a throat infection and needed to see a Dr (difficult on a Sunday in a different country). Nikos took time out of his Sunday to take us to the local medical centre, translated for us and then found out a pharmacy that is open on a Sunday and took us there. He went above and beyond! The villa is beautiful and the garden/pool area even better. Sunsets were amazing and the kids loved all the wildlife in the garden. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much for a brilliant stay.

Dream house!!

This house is exactly what you dream of when you book for holidays for a week with family and kids. Spacious, clean, with nice furniture and the friendliest landlord you will ever meet. Lovely pool area with beautiful gardens and very baby friendly. Highly recommended - will definitely go back!!!

A beautiful villa

After looking at many villas online, we decided on this villa in Kissonerga because of its location close to Coral Bay, but in a quieter setting. The villa is even better than the pictures suggest; the kitchen, dining, lounge area is much bigger and the gardens are truly beautiful. The terrace around the pool is large, with shaded seating (much needed!) and a separate stone-built gazebo with brick barbecue. There's an unobstructed view of the sea - and beautiful sunsets! It's a 5 mins drive to the Coral Bay shops, restaurants and large sandy beach. The owner, Nikos, is the perfect villa owner and extremely helpful should you need anything during your stay.

The villa was built in 2003 with our personal touch and design both indoors and outdoors in order to provide the holidaymakers the most pleasant time. We always take good care of the garden and this has a very positive effect on how it looks because we really like gardening. I am sure that if you visit our villa you will just confirm the above. Me and my wife are looking forward to welcome you at the villa and offer you all the hospitality and friendliness Cyprus is known for.

Why they chose this property

The property was built in Kissonerga village, near Coral Bay, in a very nice and quiet place surrounded by immaculate gardens and tropical banana plantations. It is built in an eight thousand sq.m field very close to the sea, around 400m. The combination of banana plantation and the sea together with beautiful and romantic sunsets, is something that will remain to your thoughts forever.
