The peak of the house is situated in a quiet and surrounded by nature.
It is a modern house, recently completed in the month of March 2017.
excellent conditions for rest, enjoying a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. It has a lovely garden and terrace for sunbathing.
House for rent in Calheta, a quiet and secluded area, only 10 minutes from the beach of Calheta and commercial shops, 40 minutes from Funchal and 50 minutes from the airport.
It is an ideal location for exploring the island, with easy access to fantastic taken (2 minutes walk) to the North and its fabulous landscapes. The terrace of the house offers a fabulous panoramic and unobstructed views of the ocean and the mountain.
A true paradise where you get a view of the ocean and the mountains around the house from the bedrooms, the living room and kitchen!

Hiking Vacation

Fantastic view, fantastic house and a host that could not be better, treating us with homemade cake twice as well as homemade cookies. Even if it is located a bit remotely all necessary locations (groceries, etc) are only a short drive. I will recommend the house to my friends 11/10 times. The only slight caveat was that the driveway was to steep for our rental, but in that case you could simply park in front of the house without too much issues.

Peace and quiet on the south coast

The house is very spacious and the balcony and garden are great to relax in. The views from the house are drop dead gorgeous, and the location far up on the slope means that there is little noise or traffic to distract a peaceful afternoon or evening. The location does demand that you navigate very steep, narrow, winding roads that definitely took some getting used to. Having a good car is crucial, since even though there is a market and a few restaurants within walking distance, the walk back up is quite strenuous. Located just below the Paul de Serra plateau, you have easy access to the Fanal Forest and other hiking trails. It is a fairly easy 45 minute drive to Funchal once you make your way down the steep part of town. Our host was fantastic and made checking in and out incredibly easy.

Celina ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir wurden mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen, einer Flasche Rotwein, einer Schale Obst und einem sehr schönen Blumenstrauß persönlich begrüßt.Haus, Terrasse und Whirlpool sind super, die Lage ist top, ruhig und bietet tolle Sonnenuntergänge.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr um uns bemüht und hat uns mit Kuchen und Obst aus dem eigenen Garten verwöhnt.Leider hatten wir eine Schlechtwetter Periode und die Klimaanlage konnte die unteren Räume nicht auf angenehme Temperaturen bringen. Im Bad dauerte es sehr lange bis warmes Wasser zur Verfügung stand.Ansonsten ist das Haus und die Küche sehr komfortabel ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch.

Ein sehr schönes, gepflegtes und modern eingerichtetes Haus. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Super Sicht aufs Meer und "dank" des wechselhaften Wetters auch immer Regenbögen. Wohnzimmer und oberes Schlafzimmer waren gut beheizbar. Von Celina gab es zwischendurch Kuchen und frisches Obst. Ein Highlight in der eher kalten Jahreszeit war der auf 40 beheizte Jacuzzi. Wenn man die Autos auf dem Grundstück parken will, braucht es etwas Bodenfreiheit, um nicht aufzusetzen. Wir haben dann aber ohne Probleme vor dem Haus geparkt.Fazit: Gerne wieder.

Geräumiges Haus in Berglage mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung in gutem und gepflegtem Zustand. Gläser und Besteck für 4 Personen etwas knapp. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin, die ihre Gäste mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen und frischem Obst verwöhnt. Das gibt es nicht überall. Danke, Celina!Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.

Wunderbares Haus mit Aussicht

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, 14 Tage in der Pico Casa mit Dachterrasse und atemberaubender Aussicht zu verbringen. Der Aufenthalt war in jeder Hinsicht ausgezeichnet. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Celina und Gabriel empfangen. Ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft trugen dazu bei, dass wir uns von Anfang an wohl fühlten. Zur Begrüßung standen Kuchen und Obst bereit, die sehr lecker waren und uns nach der Reise perfekt erfrischten. Das Haus ist äußerst geräumig und bietet viel Platz, ideal für Familien oder Gruppen. Besonders beeindruckend war die Sauberkeit – jedes Zimmer war makellos. Im Garten gibt es einen Whirlpool und einen Grill, die zu entspannten Abenden einladen. Die Küche ist mit den wichtigsten Utensilien ausgestattet, was die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten ermöglicht. Ein Highlight ist die Dachterrasse, von der aus man eine spektakuläre Aussicht genießen kann. Sie ist der perfekte Ort, um den Tag mit einem Frühstück oder einem Glas Wein ausklingen zu lassen. Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen und erhöht, was die grandiose Aussicht ermöglicht. Ein Auto ist jedoch notwendig, um die Umgebung bequem zu erkunden und Einkäufe zu erledigen. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus äußerst positiv. Die Kombination aus herzlicher Gastfreundschaft, großzügiger und sauberer Unterkunft sowie der fantastischen Aussicht macht es zu einem perfekten Ort für eine erholsame Auszeit. Ich würde dieses Ferienhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Wer die Ruhe sucht

Vorteil des Hauses: Grandiose Aussicht auf die Umgebung von Calheta. Schönes Haus, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Besitzerin. Nachteil: Enge und steile Straßen zum Haus. Keinerlei Infrastruktur in der Nähe, für alles benötigt man den Leihwagen mit ca. 15-20 Minuten Fahrzeit bis Calheta

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette grande maison! Elle est spatieuse et bien agencée! L’exterieur est super! Nous avions à notre arrivée un gateau fait maison, des fruits etc. Merci à nos hôtes :-) Juste une précision, nous n’avons pas pu mettre la voiture dans l’emplacement prevu car elle etait trop basse, nous avons dû la garer sur la route en descente.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Haus ist genau so schön, wie auf den Bildern und in den Ausführungen beschrieben. Die erhöhte Lage mit dem Ausblick besticht mit viel Sonne und Ruhe. Der Blick den Berghang hinab auf das Meer ist bei jedem Wetter einzigartig. Der Kontakt mit Celina, der Vermieterin, verlief hervorragend. So ein Begrüssungspaket haben wir noch nie erhalten (Blumenstrauss, selber gemachter Kuchen, Obst) und Kuchen gab es auch in der zweiten und dritten Woche frisch gebacken. Das Haus ist sauber und gut ausgerüstet. Wir konnten uns bestens erholen und würden wirklich gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Celina.

Wunderbar!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dieser tollen Villa. Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend, die Terrassen sind einladend und die Zimmer sind modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt so viel Platz drinnen und daußen und alles, was man braucht. Wir wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Auch die Hilfe von Celina und die selbstgemachten Kuchen und das ganze Willkommenspaket hat uns sehr gefallen. Es war eine besonders schöne Zeit! Danke und bis zum nächsten Besuch!

Schöner Blick und ruhige Lage

Schönes Haus, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Fahrten in den Norden der Insel. Das nahe Dorf Loreto hat einen gut sortierten Supermarkt, eine nette kleine Bar direkt daneben und mehrere kleine Cafés.
