About this property

Very nice place to enjoy the coast and art

Lovely modern apartment, newly renovated and furnished. In the center of young and bustling but in a quiet high floor; a few steps from the seafront of Castellammare where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets in full relax., beach not equipped, not bathing. Around you can find the best restaurants: pizzerias, takeaways, Japanese, gourmet, traditional, trattorie .. and ice cream parlors ...
Distance 50 meters from the station Circumvesuviana, the railway line that connects with Pompei, Sorrento, Naples (etc.) And connects with the upstream Faito by cable car in 8 minutes.
In the immediate vicinity of the port where ferries to Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, rent boats or book tours by sea.
In front of the beach where you can practice or take windsurfing or kitesurf lessons not equipped for bathers.
It has two bedrooms, one double, a bathroom and a living area with full kitchen, provided with each tool and located in a corner part. Towels and linen provided.
Located on the fourth floor without elevator, it is obviously expected a free porter service for your luggage !!

Out standing apartment very clean and comfortable.

Great find on the coast! We found this apartment to be very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. Just steps away from the train and cable car. We found a wonderful restaurant just across the street which welcomed us in full Italian style! Fabulous food and excellent prices. This apartment is in such a good location half way between Pompeii & Sorento and the ferry to Capri. Can’t go wrong here!

Fantastic location

Francesca our host was incredibly helpful, kind, informative and was always quick to reply to any questions. I highly recommend this property as it is extremely close to the train station (one block away) and the sea. It is located in the center of everything. Shops, grocery, restaurants, etc. The apartment has a huge bathroom, comfortable beds and is extremely clean and furnished with modern furniture. You will not regret one moment here.

Tolle Wohnung …

… in einer authentischen und wenig touristischen Umgebung. Fußläufig trotzdem unzählige Restaurants und dank der praktisch vor der Haustür gelegenen Bahnstation sind alle Hotspots wie Neapel, Pompeji, Capri oder die Amalfiküste fix zu erreichen. Die Wohnung selbst ausreichend groß für eine 4-köpfige Familie, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und wie gesagt perfekt gelegen für sämtliche Unternehmungen am Golf von Neapel. Einziger Minuspunkt - die angeklebten Plissees - dafür muss es doch eine andere Möglichkeit geben?! Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert!

Super apartment in great location

Francesca met us at the apartment and could not have been more helpful or lovelier. The apartment was clean, comfy and well equipped. Close to the station for easy access to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii and Herculaneum. View of bay from balcony. Perfect place to stay for our family of four, we had a brilliant time.

Very Clean Apartment

Great communication from the host Francesca who stayed late to get us in. The apartment was very clean but lacked potholders (if you wanted to cook). There were no extra dishtowels and no dishwasher. But it is a good central location. One thing that may deter people is that there are 91 steps from the ground to the apartment door.

A hidden gem

We didn't know what we would find when we booked in Castellammare di Stable. This was a great pick for us. Apartment was very spacious and very clean. Super close to the train station and a short walk to the ferry terminal. Easy to get to Sorrento, Pompeii and catch a ferry to Capri. Definitely recommend this apartment!!

Super apartment

We had a lovely week in this apartment. It is perfectly placed for using the local Circumsuviana trains to visit Sorrento, Vico Equense, Pompeii, etc. There are a number of great places to eat in the town: Le Tre Vele pizzeria across the road was a favourite of ours. Francesca, the host was a great communicator and very helpful. Highly recommend this apartment for a holiday in this area.

Wonderful Location

Just back from a wonderful stay at this accommodation and it is exactly as described including a lovely bottle of wine ! The location could not have been better two minutes from both the train station and the beach. The train service was very good with a very regular service to Pompeii , Naples and Sorrento and was also very reasonably priced, so no need for a car. The owner was fantastic, always on hand to answer any questions and to give lots of help and advice when required. The apartment is on the fourth floor, but the owners son very kindly carried out cases up for us, so not a problem. I would always make this my first choice of accommodation if I was ever back in this area.

Very nice base in Castellammare di Stabia

This is a well presented apartment in Castellammare. It is ideal for travelling around the area as it is extremely close to the station for the Circumvesuviana train. It is also very near to the funicular railway giving you access to great views of the bay of Naples.. In fact you can see the entrance to both these from the balcony. Francesca is very welcoming and is ready to help. The beds are comfortable if a little soft for me. It is close to restaurants and shops. It is not suitable for those with mobility issues as it is on the top floor and there is no lift. WIFI is strong and consistent. Rooms are clean and airy if a little bare. You will notice from the pictures that the headboards for the single beds do not go against a wall. This can be off putting if you are of a nervous disposition. All in all I would recommend this place.

Bel appartement refait à neuf et avec balcon avec vue sur la mer

Chez Francesca vous trouverez un petit nid où vous reposer après votre périple à Pompei, Capri ou autre. Tout est disponible pour cuisiner mais vous pouvez aussi manger dans le quartier, des glaces et des beignets tous frais, faits devant vous et vraiment pas chers (0,50€le nature) au coin de la place de la rotonde. La gare est juste à côté et très pratique pour circuler partout même jusqu'à Naples. Francesca est une super hôte, elle vous conseille et propose des visites. Elle est attentive à nos demandes. Mais cet appartement se mérite, il faut monter les 4 étages à pied '-))

Modern, clean and beautiful!

My husband and I and our granddaughter had a wonderful few days in this apartment. It is easy to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum from Castellamare di Stabia, though the Villa Adrianna and the Villa San Marco in Castellamare di Stabia itself are well worth visiting too, as is the Monte Faito cable car. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you might need. Highly recommended!

We want to come back

The apartment in Castellamare di Stabio is a wonderful place to start a vacation in Kampania. It is conveniently located within close walking distance to the regional train Circumvesuviana and the parcheggio where the guys give you a special price if you are Francesca´s guests. We took the train to Napoli and Sorrento but went on the Amalfiana coastal road by car. So we tried both ways of transport and were lucky to have only a few steps to the apartment, which is extremely clean and newly furnished. It has a nice living room with a dinner table that seats four, a small open kitchenette and two bedrooms. From the balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea. Francesca is a very friendly host who is ready to go out of her way for the needs of her guests. We were very pleased to meet her husband and her two kids who helped with the luggage and the explanation of the somewhat complicated garbage pick up system in Castellamare. Thank you so much, Francesca, for a wonderful week and for the red wine that greeted us on our first day. By the way: the next pizzeria is just across the street... We highly recommend this holiday home.

Wonderful Flat

Thank you to Francesca and her sweet daughter for helping us upon our arrival at this beautiful, clean, modern flat in the heart of Castellammare di Stabia. What a treat it was to be able to wake up and see the beautiful, still waters of the Gulf of Naples from your own little balcony! The flat was exquisitely clean and spacious, beautifully appointed w modern/contemporary furnishings....just an awesome place to rest after the dust and dirt of a day in Pompeii. And the proximity to train station only a block away....wow!!! Perfect flat for a perfect stay. Thank you so much, Francesca and family!

great holiday experience

The apartment is in a good location. It is very near railway station so you can travel to other areas like Sorrento and Pompei. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. The hosts were very helpful during our stay. Castellemarre is a lovely seaside town, we found a nice beach with sun beds a short walk away, some nice restaurants very close by. The cable car which you can see from the apartment was a great experience and well worth a visit.

Good sized apartment in a central location

We decided on a short holiday (8 days) and wanted a location not too far from Pompei, Naples and the Amalfi Coast and this apartment in Castellamare di Stabia proved ideal. Its situated not far from the beach, the centre of town and transport links. The apartment is quite large and ideal for 3-4 people with 2 well sized bedrooms. It is very clean and modern with a good sized main area and large modern bathroom. It is on the 4th floor and the view from the balcony is wonderful. We decided to hire a car which was a mistake as you are so close to everything and the railway is so cheap. We would definitely come back here.

This classy downtown apt was perfect! The ocean & mountain views are awesome & its near everything!

This apartment is in the the very heart of downtown Castellammare di Stabia, with a balcony that has a fantastic view of the ocean to the west and a verdant mountainside to the east, with a bird's eye view of everything happening on the lively street five floors below. The building is older, vintage and very cool, while the apartment itself obviously has been very recently (and beautifully) renovated because from inside it looks and feels like a place that has just been built. All of the appliances and fixtures from kitchen to the bathroom seem brand new, and the space is furnished and decorated in a modern style, with sleek clean lines, simple and hip and straightforward. Every inch of the place was spotless. Our hosts were wonderful. They were extremely accommodating, helpful and responsive. We appreciated their excellent suggestions for the best eateries, bars, attractions and most convenient food markets. This bustling vacation town is very walkable. A stroll along the coast can begin just over a block away while a self-guided walking tour up the mountainside, along narrow stone streets and through tunnels under antiquated bridges, is a block away in the other direction. All around the apartment are restaurants, pubs, bakeries, wine bars and cafes. We traveled from Rome, where we'd rented a car before heading south to Castellammare. If we'd not had plans for adventures further south along the coast to visit other seaside towns in the area, we'd not have needed a car to get to everything we wanted to see and do from the starting point of the apartment. Because we did have a car already, we drove to Pompeii from the apartment, though even that would not have been necessary since the railway station is a super quick walk from the front door and the route can take you to Pompeii and more (see the info in the listing). Parking a car in a busy city area can be a challenge. There are street parking spaces for a fee in a city civic circle area just below the apartment. With our hosts' help we scored a primo street spot where we parked the first night, but since the area is so popular it's got a lot of traffic, so we chose to leave our car with a parking service for the rest of the time, which is a gated lot accessible from that same circle. Our hosts made a nice arrangement for us with the very friendly lot operator for the duration of our stay, so we could drop off or pick up the car as needed. ABSOLUTELY A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE!
