Welcome to Pure Michigan!

This private setting is on a 1-acre wooded lot. Spend time away from the hustle and bustle but enjoy the amenities of Traverse City with a short drive.

This quaint home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The bunk in the second bedroom has a full size mattress on the bottom and twin on top. There is hardwood flooring throughout home and updated kitchen and bathroom. There is laundry on site. The large deck allows to take the living space outdoor with large patio table and chairs, grill, and extra seating. Enjoy your evening with a bonfire or relax on the deck.

Just a short drive to favorite attractions including Downtown Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, multiple lakes and streams, shopping, hiking, wine tasting or brewery tours; or consider a short drive to a local beach and park... there is SO much to do and see in this area, you won't be disappointed!

As of fall 2023, we now have central air-conditioning and the window A/C units will no longer be needed or installed.

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed a week with our two small kids and the house was just what we needed. It was incredibly clean and very well stocked with essential items. Our kids loved playing in the large yard, and the deck was a perfect hangout spot! A very cozy, comfortable place to stay!

Wonderful!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cottage. We celebrated our 21st anniversary while we were there. We love the hiking trails all around us and we found some wonderful ice cream!!!! We hope to go back!!! Our host was terrific and I can't say enough good things about her.

Great little house!

We spent 5 days at this cute little house. Surrounded by trees with an awesome deck! All the amenities were provided included a fire pit. Beach is close as is Lake Ann (my favorite brewery), Moomers, and all of TC. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Traverse City base for a family

This place worked great for our family vacation! It was 30 minutes to pretty much everywhere and even closer to downtown Traverse City. The house had everything we needed and Mindy was great to work with. The wooded location also worked well for a couple of loud kids who love to be outside. We would definitely book again!

Most Well-Appointed VRBO I’ve Experienced!

Such a great stay, everything you could possibly need is provided and home is spotlessly clean (inside and out!). 100% would stay again. Neighboring children screaming late into the evening wasn’t ideal, but certainly wasn’t anything to do with the property owners. Easy to access from surrounding attractions. A++++++++++ stay!

Fall Miini Vacation

My Husband and I along with my daughter and her husband stayed at the cottage for a mini fall vacation. The cottage was cute and clean. The location was great for Traverse City and Suttons Bay. We were in a rural setting but within a short drive to the city. Mindy was very accomodating and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay at this cottage.

Peaceful, Cozy Get-away

This place was a perfect spot for our family of 4. We loved the wooded view from the windows, grilling and eating out on the deck and s’mores around the campfire. We also appreciated that there was a spot for everything so that we could unpack and get cozy. The house was clean, had great AC and was well-stocked with everything we needed. Not to mention it had the world’s most comfortable pillow chair. All of the details were well thought through. We spent most of our time in the Traverse City area which was about a 15-20 min drive. It also was an easy drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Thanks for a memorable and relaxing stay!

Peaceful, Good Vibes

I loved my stay at this property. Its very cozy and organized and tucked away on a perfectly private piece of land a couple blocks from the lake. Owner is non-invasive but gets right back 2 u with any questions. Neighbors are quiet. Wonderful deck, cozy sleeping area, all cheerful and clean. Its very small, so I would say suitable for solo, couple, or small children with parents. Would stay again. A good spot for sure. Thanks again!!! Be well, L :)

well provisioned kitchen

Everything was as described. Very clean and comfortable. Didn't really use the TV but did play some of the games. I enjoy cooking and the kitchen met my needs much better then anywhere else we have rented. We would stay again. Nice deck for my morning coffee and quiet time. Manager answered my inquires in a very reasonable time. Tastefully decorated. Easy access to all in the Traverse City area and Michigans West Coast.

WOW! I’ll be back next year

The Cooper cabin was so relaxing and immaculate! Mindy was just a text or phone call away. She had EVERYTHING, spices, sugar, coffee other goodies, all sizes of glass baking dishes, pots, even a cast iron one! Well stocked with essentials TP, paper towels, dish soaps, hand soap, and cleaning supplies Loved coming back at night to her comfortable living room couch with a great TV. I was more than sad, I wanted to add another day, but she’s totally booked for the rest of this year and at least through April or May next year. When I booked only Sept11-15 were open, today is my birthday, so I was wishing someone would cancel for tonight, lol! They did not and I understand why!!! Mindy was so kind, delightful and such an accommodating hostess

Great cottage in the woods.

Out of the crazy traffic in Traverse City, tucked away down a long driveway. Nice setup with a big deck that we lived on. Only downside is the small bathroom with no place to put your stuff. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Quiet getaway to relax

This cabin was tucked into the woods for a private and quiet experience, but also close to everything we wanted to do in the Traverse City area. We had a great time here and would come back!

What makes this property unique

This house is less than 1 mile from 2 beaches, and parks. Long Lake township has a park nearby with basketball courts, a walking trail, tennis courts, and play structures. It is a beautiful area if you want to spend a day "home" and not downtown TC or traveling Northern Michigan.
