We had such a wonderful time at “Lizzie” Cottage! It was even better than we imagined. When we first got there, the door code didn’t work, but we were able to make contact with Theresa immediately, and she sorted it out for us remotely in just a few minutes! The cottage was exactly what we wanted. We didn’t need to cook while we were there, but we did notice that the kitchen was well-stocked and the cookware was fantastic—better than anything we’ve ever used in previous rentals. Plus, having a dedicated parking spot was a huge bonus. The location was perfect! We could walk to everything downtown, and driving was super easy, allowing us to get to all parts of the island without having to deal with traffic in town. We’re really hoping to come back someday and will definitely consider “Lizzie” Cottage or another one of Theresa’s rentals as our first choice!

Theresa's cottage was absolutely the perfect place for a quick getaway for myself and husband. The house it beautiful, perfect size for two and came equipped with everything we needed. Not to mention the perfect location and access to town! Theresa was extremely responsive and helpful from start to finish in booking and we would absolutely stay here again!

We had such a lovely stay! There was soft music and fresh flowers upon our arrival, nice touch. Everything was so clean. Theresa was great too! The bed was so comfortable and luxurious. We will definitely come back.

As a long time summer visitor to ACK, this cottage on stilts on a street I’d never known was a find. Quiet, cozy and well located. Great for 1-2 adults. Off street parking a plus.

Unfortunately, this property did not live up to the listing. While the location is great and very walkable, we were disappointed with the accommodations. The unit is much smaller in person than the photos suggest, around 700 sqft. The listing photos show a grassy backyard, but the outdoor area is actually mulch. It is also advertised as having an ocean view, but the view is primarily the neighbor’s roof. The AC unit sits directly on the back porch, making the outdoor space very loud when running. The listing describes the unit as fully stocked, yet there was no iron or steamer, and the TV remote did not work. I contacted the host about a steamer and received no response. When we arrived, windows had been left open and the unit was very hot. Cleanliness was also an issue. There was mold on the shower head, the shower nozzle sprays outward when turned on, the wine glasses on the shelf were dirty, and there were numerous stains on the floors. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. You can feel the tufted buttons through it, and I left with back pain. We were also made to wait outside until exactly 4 PM to check in despite no one appearing to be servicing the unit. Overall, we were very disappointed and made the most of our trip by spending as little time at the property as possible. The walkable location and parking were by far its best features.
