Great location just being right across the bridge in Mt Pleasant and right down the street from Shem Creek. The condo itself is clean with everything you’ll need. We will definitely be back!
This is a quaint property in a very good location in Mt. Pleasant. I love the property was pet friendly and allowed up to 3 pets! We were trying to find a place for us in the wake of Hurricane Milton. The owner was easy to communicate with and replied quickly on all questions! The yard is perfect for a dog. Not to mention, we were greeted by a beautiful and friendly, neighbor and his white lab upon arrival!

Just “meh” with a decent location
Overall, location was good with accessibility to shops, Shem Creek etc. Master bed was VERY creaky and mattress not comfortable. Couches in living room were also very uncomfortable and condo had smell of old smoke/musty that was liveable but definitely noticeable upon entry. Owners were very nice to let us arrive a little bit early and that was very much appreciated.
This property was in an ideal location and the owner was exceptionally kind to my family. My family and I (two teens and two adults) were able to visit downtown and beaches easily. There is a Trader Jo’s within walking distance for anything you might want. The neighborhood is very clean, nice, and safe to walk. The teenagers were able to play lacrosse in the backyard one evening.
Inside the apartment, everything we needed was there! It was so nice that someone thought about everything for you. As far as the condition of the apartment, it could definitely use a new coat of paint. But otherwise it was perfect!
The condo itself was nice. It was in a great location to reach attractions and downtown quickly. I am usually not a complainer but I really feel the need to share. I contacted the owner upon arrival to let him know that the condo was dirty. I also contacted him again after our stay to ask him to consider refunding the extra cleaning fee we had to pay to stay at the condo and he skirted around the subject both times. I never heard from him again. The tub in one of the bathrooms was disgusting with mold and a black bottom, the other bathroom toilet was dirty, we couldn't walk around the entire condo without shoes because there was a layer of dirt and grime on the floors. There were literally dust bunnies in the corners of the whole condo and you could feel the grime on your barefeet walking around (it stuck to them). The freezer in the kitchen had mildew and remains of previous food items in it and the ice maker was broken. Our other complaint is that the kitchen was not fully equipped for a place that sleeps 6. Just one example because I don't care to list everything, there were only 2 coffee mugs. There was also not enough seating for 6. There is a couch in the living room that you can squeeze 3 people on, if you are determined, and no other living room furniture. There are also no tvs in the whole condo, as noted in previous reviews. Not a dire issue, but definitely something to know ahead of time. My frustration with the whole thing is that I felt blown off with my concerns and never did receive a refund for the cleaning fee. I feel if we are paying a fee to have the place cleaned after we leave, that we also deserve to have the place clean when we arrive.

Lisa, I sincerely apologize that you felt the condo wasn't up to your standards. I had my cleaning crew in there before your stay, just as they were before every other tenants stay, and we've never received complaints like we heard from you. After talking with you over the phone several times during and after your stay, it was evident that you expected a brand new, million dollar vacation home, when in fact it was explained to you up front that my condo was not built within the last year, and has a few years of age to it.
ALL of the linens and towels were clean. The bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room were all clean, like they were for every other guest. In my 3 years of renting out my condo, you have been the only tenant to say otherwise.
When you look at every other review on Airbnb and VRBO from over 50 people, it's evident that your expectations were a little much and your review doesn't represent what my condo offers. Again, I apologize for your poor experience.

Loved the convenience of this neighborhood and location for ease to Patriots Landing, and Sullivan Island. The only improvement would be upgrading one bedroom to a larger bed We enjoyed our stay and the rental is very pet friendly
We were in town for a long weekend and a friend’s wedding in downtown Charleston
Communication with the owner was perfect. They provided us with local places to eat and enjoy. The Vrbo was so comfortable and in a great location!! We walked to dinner, to have cookies n coffee and to the waterfront. It was very clean!! It was nestled in a quiet neighborhood with access to many places to eat! It was only 15 minutes from downtown Charleston, which was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again!!
Overall, the place is as advertised. One of the best locations we’ve stayed at. However, everything on the inside could really use an upgrade. Couches/beds were a touch uncomfortable and on the older side. AC worked great and was needed with 90° temps all week.
Per many other reviews, the location is great! As advertised, the neighborhood is quiet and walking to grocery & pharmacy, a bonus. The owners were always quick to respond and helpful. Check in/check out was easy with no problems. I realize this is a condo and the price is very reasonable, but the furniture is pretty worked... the place was clean, but everything felt like it had been used hard and was due for updating/replacing. I also think its nice when the rental includes small shower wash, shampoo & conditioner for arrival. Also, needs more hangers! Finally, I would have the thumbnail photo be a photo of the actual place, versus the bridge at sunset, b/c that isn't really walking distance for most people.
Phil property was a little misleading the bed needs to be replaced in the master the curtains need to be replaced or torn the electrical is hanging down in the cupboards and not save the couch needs to be replaced it’s worn out and not comfortable I feel they should put a little effort into this place before listing it again great location but needs a little TLC now
The owners gave us recommendations for locate spots. Everything was awesome! The only thing we hated was not having enough time! Thank you so much for letting us check in early!
We selected this condo because of its location and it exceeded our expectations. Located on a quiet residential street, this property is an easy walk and/or drive to a variety of grocery stories, restaurants and the coastal activities of Shem Creek. Charleston, Folly Beach and Sullivan's Island are also very convenient.
The condo had a convenient set up for 2 adults and a pet. The off street parking is a plus. Laura is a helpful and responsive host!
We had a wonderful time! We were in town for a wedding in Charleston and the location was so nice and close to the bridge to make quick trips to and fro. We wish the shower which had great pressure had more hot water (really only enough for one shower) and the television had additional offerings (either more channels or was a smart television so one could login with their own credentials)
The unit is in a great location. The neighborhood is just off of the main roads through Mt. Pleasant, and you are very close to Patriot's Point and Sullivan's Island as well as a short drive to Downtown Charleston. Unit was very clean and the owner was quick to respond with any questions we had. We had a great time and will definitely look to rent again!
Our trip here was excellent. The unit was clean, functional, quiet, and nicely located though you need a car to get around.
There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and it's only a short drive from the beach or downtown Charleston. It was a great place to crash during our trip!
We accidently arrived a little earlier than we thought (that was on us for not reviewing our notes more carefully), but our host was more than understanding. They were also close by so if we needed anything all we had to do was reach out. They were very respective and warm welcoming. The place was clean, spacious, and had just about everything that we needed for our stay. There are neighbors in the building but they were very friendly. We were extremely close to downtown Charleston and not too far from Folly Beach (which is where we spent most of our time). We could literally walk to Trader Joes so that was also pretty neat. Overall, we had a really good experience. Extra big thanks to our hosts!
My family had an amazing time staying here. It was conveniently located near amazing restaurants, bars, groceries, & coffee. It was a short drive to Charleston's beautiful beaches and the historical downtown with so much family activities to do. The place was very clean, well maintained & the owners were very helpful. This place was a perfect getaway for our family and we will definitely be returning.
Perfect location, great price, clean and spacious inside!
Very happy with this condo! perfectly located between the beach and downtown, and walkable to grocery stores, coffee and a few places to eat. very safe, quiet neighborhood, perfect for walking the kids in the mornings and evenings. best bang for the buck that we have found in Charleston!
This rental suited our needs well at the price point we were hoping for. The updates were nice, and the owner did a great job at communicating. Shower had nice pressure, and unit was very clean. Only criticisms are the “pantry” was more of a utility closet, so not a lot of room for storing personal groceries, and the beds were not super comfortable. Enjoyed the convenient location for downtown, restaurants, and the beach.
This apartment is on the ground floor of a quadriplex. It is on a side street lined with side walks and just a short walk away from a pharmacy and grocery store. The bedrooms and great room are nicely furnished with comforts of home and essentials for your stay. It has excellent parking, natural light, a flat grassy yard in the front and rear, and convenient (shared) laundry in a utility room just outside the apartment.
There was one small mishap with what felt like sandy sheets, but replacements were promptly brought over by Laura, Jay's wife, after a quick text and phone call.
The apartment maintained a temperature between 73° and 76° without the use of the oven, so if you like your air conditioner set below 73° please know that you might want to bring a fan until/unless the air conditioning unit is replaced.
Overall, I was pleased with the location, apartment, owners, and price for our quick getaway.

If you're wanting to see some of the beaches as well as downtown, you can't beat the location. Significantly cheaper then the beach prices, and only 4 miles away! $8 uber ride to the downtown nightlife. On top of the location and price, it's recently renovated with new furniture, granite, and hard woods!
