About this property

If you are looking for a secluded, smooth water lagoon with all the comforts of home, you will love this four-bedroom, three and-a-half bath, three-level. 2250 square-foot, waterfront vacation cabin with a private floating boat dock just 90 feet away.

Main floor with a fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, half bath, master bedroom with a queen-size bed and master bath. The great room opens onto a full wrap-around deck facing directly at the water of Lynch Hollow Lagoon. Second floor has the second and third bedrooms featuring queen-sized beds with a full bath and a small hidden bedroom above bedroom three as well as a loft that overlooks the main floor.

The lower level consist of a family room the fourth bedroom which is a bunk room with two sets of double bed bunk beds which can sleep eight adults. The lower level also opens to a full deck facing the water. The upper and lower decks feature gas grills and patio furniture.

There are three marinas within 1.25 to 2.5 miles from our private floating dock and a boat launch within a half mile by water and two miles by road.

Nice vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect, Phillip(the owner) was easy to work with and the cabin was clean and comfortable. This is a great place to stay. Quiet and since it is in a cove, it is a great place to swim.

Great stay

Phil was great to work with. Water is very calm and dock has 3 kayaks and a paddle boat. Was only about 40 minute pontoon boat ride to Deerfield golf course and another 15 to jumping bridge. We hope to be back soon!

Our group had a great time hanging out at the dock. It was the first time everyone in our group had an opportunity to stay right on the lake and definitely recommend always renting a house with a private dock in the furue!

Comfortable and Clean Lake Home

We had a comfortable and fun stay at Lynch Hollow. The serene setting is beautiful, and the house is comfortable and very clean.There are lots of outdoor spaces with beautiful views and good seating. Phil is a congenial host who is attentive and responsive. The drive to the house is quite steep, but we were able to negotiate it with our 4-wheel drive vehicles, plus there are other parking spaces available for those who can walk down the drive. Guests do need to take their own towels, washcloths, and paper products.

Vacation on the lake

Vacation was exactly what i was looking for realization with great view. The house was perfect for all of us. Plenty of room, very clean and had everything you need to enjoy your time. The location of the house on the water was perfect so no boats are flying by so you can really enjoy the dock and swim and relax on a tube. Close to boat rental place as well. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy Lake Norris

Fabulous Vacation Home

We just completed a week at this Secluded home, and I must say we were blown away by the place! From the wonderful sleeping arrangements, fully stocked kitchen, living areas, many bathrooms, balcony's and dock. The pictures and description do not do this place justice. We had a wonderful week. Thanks Phil for making everything so easy! Norris Lake is the only spot for us!

Great Stay at a Great House

This house was the perfect size and set up for our family. Nicely furnished- very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. There were a few glitches on our arrival as a result of the previous week's renters but the owner, Phil Day and the property manager Robin worked very hard to take care of everything quickly! All the issues that were resolved and didn't affect our stay. The location is on a nice lagoon, beautiful views, safe for swimming off the dock. We enjoyed the kayaks provided, had a fire at the fire pit, made s'mores and many happy memories. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely home and helpful hosts!

This is a very nice home situated in a great location. The driveway is extremely steep - I don't know if a "regular" car could make it. We had no trouble with our 4WD and AWD vehicles. I would have liked an additional refrigerator for our 9 adults; we had lots of beverages that had to be cooled with ice in coolers. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

Beautiful cove!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Phil was great to work with even with a last minute booking. The home is very clean and well laid out for multiple families with kids. It had everything we needed. The cove is absolutely stunning! Perfect for lounging and swimming. A very relaxing time for all!!! Plan ahead for taking trash with you. The convenience center is about 10-15 minutes away and doesn’t open before 9am so plan accordingly for this added space on your way out.

Fantastic place

We stayed in this lovely house for a week with our friends who range from 28-65yrs of age. We loved it! We made all ages happy. You could fish, swim, play music, boat, jet ski, were close to a marina and were 15 minutes from Food Lion, Walgreens, CVS and gas stations...all this while still be SECLUDED! The boat ramp is a 10-minute drive on land and a 3-5 minutes drive by boat! The inside was up to date and clean while still giving the cabin feel! I would highly recommend this place! The owner was super nice and friendly and spent time on the phone with me the night before looking at satellite maps to ensure I understood the directions! Can't say enough great things about this place...

Awesome family getaway

We took our 3 teenagers and a few of their friends for a week. They were all 15 and older. Thank goodness, because those stairs to & from the dock were a workout. Besides all the mandatory exercise the house and amenities met all of our needs. Phill was very understanding when we had a cpl accidents where small items were damaged and the hot tub cover finally gave out. He explained that he was expecting that and already had one on back order. Which is common these days. Yes, the hill is a little intimidating, but one of our vehicles is a very large truck and we had no trouble getting up and down it or maneuvering it in the parking area. Thanks again Phil for the hospitality!

We had amazing family vacation!

The house was beautiful, clean and had plenty of space. The bottom floor was great for the kids who went to bed early while the adults could hang out upstairs or by the fire. It was nice being in a private location away from the main lake but we were still close enough to the main portion for tubing & wake-boarding. We had a blast swimming off the dock & weren't bothered by boat traffic. The kids loved chasing frogs & catching bugs. The adults loved how quiet & relaxing it was. Be careful of the no wake zones. Especially when you first get there & are trying to find the cove. They have small signs on the side of trees not buoys. Make sure to obey the no wake or the neighbors will let you know. The drive there is no joke. The driveway is very steep. All the cars were fine including a minivan but use caution if you drive a small car. Also pay attention to the directions on the video Phil sends you. The car I drove in didn't and we got lost. Luckily a couple guys in town helped us get back on track. There is no internet service which we didn't mind. If you have verizon you will be able to text but phone service is spotty. Phil the owner was easy to work. He was quick to respond to any questions we had. All of our transactions were done in a timely manner. Great vacation spot. Hoping we can do it again in 2015!

Peaceful

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. The fishing was great with us catching several catfish and bass right off the dock. There is plenty to do and plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Family had an amazing time.
