Just to clarify for future guests, our pool and wellness area is a charming character space with the sauna and steam room, so we do run it on a booking system to keep it peaceful and enjoyable for everyone. Booking opens 7 days before arrival, with slots available daily from 9am–6pm, and we always recommend reserving ahead around your holiday plans. We completely understand that not everyone wants to be tied to timings on holiday, but this is the best way for us to make sure the space remains a relaxing experience for all.

We are in the process of updating the arrival instructions however, we currently instruct all guests to take along the access code on the arrival map. This map with the code is sent when the balance is paid and also a reminder with these details is sent the day before departure with a checklist of paperwork to take. It has outstanding views over Loch Ness but also over the Abbey. The owners have added some luxury touches such as under floor heating in the bathrooms together with beautiful wood panelling in some of the rooms. Your comments regarding local area places to eat and where to purchase more gourmet items of food are extremely helpful to prospective guests. The large village of For Augustus is well served with places to eat or for those who wish to self cater there is a lovely shop whereby most household and food items can be purchased, plus an award winning traditional Butcher within walking distance.
