Vacation Villa Rental: VILLA MONTANA VISTA LAS COLORADAS, PLAYA BLANCA is an exceptional villa and is located on the exclusive quiet area of Las Coloradas, the detached villa is furnished to a high standard and equipped throughout with everything you need for a fabulous holiday. Patio doors lead from the lounge to the south facing terrace and large solar heated pool (8m x 4m) with walk in steps for ease of access and is set in private walled gardens with superb mountain views. The living room with apex ceilings has 2 comfortable leather settees and comes equipped with a TV showing a selection of english channels including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, there is also a DVD player with a selection of DVDs and a Hi-Fi, FREE Wi Fi. The master bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and an ensuite shower room with walk in shower, there is also a family bathroom with bath. Both bedrooms and kitchen area have ceiling fans, all windows have shutters with mosquito nets. At the rear of the villa you will find another terrace area for relaxing or alfresco dining. Being only a few minutes walk from the sea, this is the ideal peaceful location to relax on holiday. (VV35-0001067).

Golf: There are two 18-hole golf courses on the island, one is located 25 minutes from the villa, the other approx 40 minutes drive.

Attractions and information: It is worthwhile hiring a car as there are many places of interest on Lanzarote for you to see, for example the fabulous Timanfaya National Park, Cesar Manrique house (the famous Lanzarote artist), Cueva de Los Verdes (the green caves), El Golfo with the natural green lagoon and many more.

The villa has an information book which gives you details on all the local activities and places to see.

The villa is close to the beautiful Papagayo beaches and the Marina Rubicon is approximately a 20 minute walk along the promenade or a few minutes by car.
We can also offer advice on local car hire companies. Playa Blanca now has a local bus service which covers all areas of the resort, the bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the villa, the bus run every 30 minutes from early morning to late evening.

Beautiful Villa

Debbie was a super host. Kept us up-to-date with what to expect at the villa and gave great information of the area. Villa was spotlessly clean and spacious. Fantastic outside space and lovely warm pool. Very quite and private. Would love to visit again and would highly recommend. Just perfect.

Excellent Villa and Location

We recently stayed in Villa Montana Vista on Las Coloradas, we found the location excellent for us, a car is not essential but it was good to have to explore the lovely island. Bars, Tapas restaurants, shops and a supermarket are just a few minutes walk from the villa, a great restaurant which we went to was Casa Carlos, again a few minutes walk away. The nearby marina rubicon is outstanding, it was great to have the papagayo beaches so close, they must be some of the best beaches i have ever visited. I cannot praise Deborah enough, right from the initial booking the whole process was faultless, I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa. One tip - book early. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful Holiday

Excellent villa, very private, very clean and very quiet. Nearby to an excellent supermarket , pizzeria, cafe/bar and an excellent restaurant - casa Carlos which is just a few minutes walk from the villa. The walk to the marina rubicon is lovely with views to fuerteventura and the papagayo beaches which we visited most days if we werent lazing around the pool. Already booked for next year, looking forward to it already.

Excellent stay

The villa is excellently maintained and presented. It is in a quiet area of Los Colorades outside Playa Blanca and 15 minutes walk from the Marina. The villa is well equipped and the pool area immaculate. We enjoyed a lazy week walking to the Marina and Playa Blanca and to Papageyo beaches. There is a good range of restaurants at the Marina and in the town. The main entertainment is really is in Playa Blanca but that was a ok for us. To explore further, you would really need a car. We would definitely recommend the villa and had a really good relaxing break.

Great Place to Relax

Lovely villa, accurately described, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Although this is in an area with many villas they are well designed and laid out so that you do not feel over-looked in the pool. It was also amazingly tranquil (maybe the time of year we went, but many other reviews commented on how peaceful it was). It is on the edge of Las Coloradas which was ideal for walking over to the beautiful, undeveloped beaches in the Papagayo national park. The Marina is a pleasant 20-30 minute walk with lots of restaurants and a few up-market bars. It is also easy to reach Playa Blanca along the coastal walkway - much more developed with lots of hotels, apartments, sunbeds on the beaches, cafes, restaurants, bars etc if you wanted a livelier night life. After eating out a couple of times we opted to self-cater as there is a fantastic specialist supermarket about 10 mins walk from the villa with great fresh fish and meat - ideal for the barbecue - as well as super fruit & veg. Would definitely recommend the property.

The villa was perfect, very clean and spacious, pool amazing,very quiet and peaceful. we couldnt have asked for a better week, already booked to go back same time next year with my 14 year old daughter, who will love it as much as we did, the marina rubicon is a must, we spent many relaxing evenings down there, the whole holiday experience was perfection, cant wait for next year, thankyou debbie xx

A Really Pleasurable Experience.

We (our 12 year old son, my husband and myself) have just returned from our first visit to Lanzarote (having visited Tenerife previously). This was our first experience staying in a private villa with pool. The photo's and description of the property are extremely accurate.It is very well maintained, beautifully appointed, very clean and the pool is "the icing on the cake". From our first contact with Debbie to the email on our return we could not have asked for a more courteous and helpful "customer service". A welcome pack, extensive house file and a personal visit made it outstanding. We were fortunate enough to have good weather and so, each day, we would roll back the pool cover to allow the sun to heat it up so we could cool off or have a splash about. It is such a private and peaceful spot that whether you swim or just lounge at the side of the pool it feels amazingly relaxing. It is a good 20 minute walk to the Marina Rubicon - taxis are only 3 euros if you prefer - however it is a pleasurable walk especially if the sun is setting or if the moon is glinting along the sea and it feels very safe to do so. Local supermarkets are well stocked (beautiful meats) and a barbecue is a must! Should you choose to dine out take advice from the holiday file. Our recommendation would be for Casa Roja at the Marina - it is not a cheap restuarant however the quality of the food, the wine selection and the service received, we found, to be excellent. We would be happy to return to Lanzarote and would be only too pleased to be looked after again by Debbie and her family. There would be no hesitation to recommend this property to friends or family.

An extremely relaxing holiday

My family and I spent 2 glorious weeks in August at this immacuately clean and tidy villa. The only thing missing was air conditioning as the temperature was in the 40's when were arrived and for a couple of days the villa was very hot. For the rest of the time the ceiling fans were more than appropriate. The shutters and mosquito nets on all the windows were also a valuable addition. The children especially loved the pool which was a god send in the high temperatures. We loved the local beaches especially in the national park and further afield for body boarding, kite surfing etc. A car isn't necessary but is a useful addition if you plan to sight see and driving on the island is so easy. There was so much to do on the island we always had plenty of places to visit. We loved it all so much and Debbie made our stay a pleasure we can't wait to get back there next summer. We have already booked for two more weeks next August!

What a wonderful relaxing ‘sunny’ winter break we have just had at Villa Montana Vista. Fantastic weather, the villa was everything exactly as advertised, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and very well maintained and equipped. The local supermarket, a 5 minute walk away from the villa is ideal for all you need for the barbeque, with a good selection of fresh fish and meat . We tried a couple of the restaurants in the same centre which were simply excellent. We didn’t hire a car on this occasion as we have been to the island and visited many places before, the walk to the Marina Rubicon was a steady 20 minute walk along the promenade with fantastic views of Fuerteventura, some excellent restaurants here. We took the bus into Playa Blanca which was great, going from Las Coloradas every half an hour to Playa Blanca in just a few minutes and costing 1.15 euros each. We visited the beautiful papagayo beaches as they were right on the doorstep, just a 15 minute walk away and spent the rest of the time around the villa as it was just so nice to relax by the pool, it was so peaceful and very private – not overlooked at all, the pool was a good size for my early morning swim. Thank you for the use of your lovely villa, we look forward to coming back next year (we’re going for 2 weeks next year as 1 week went so quick) and will definitely be recommending it to family and friends.

Our holidays to remember

This is our 2nd stay in Villa Montana Vista and we would highly recommend it. Debbie and Ian do a superb job in maintaing the villa. The location is lovely and tranquil. Marina Rubicon is a must (go and choose your yacht) If you sit sit at Lani's snack bar about 11.00 at night you will actually see big barracuda come out, and they are big about three foot long. Thought my husband was me spinning a fishermans tale untill I saw one. There is also plenty of bar life and restaurants along Playa Blanca if that appeals to you. The whole Island is so beautiful and that it captures you, making you wanting to return. So If You are thinking about taking a holiday this is your ideal place to stay, the villa and island is so beautiful it won't let you down. Hoping to be coming back again later this year. Lovely Relaxing Stay

This was the first time we had taken a private hire villa and it was a really excellent experience. The villa terrace and pool are very private and the solar heating on the pool worked a treat. The pool was always lovely and warm. The villa is so very well equipped it had everything you could possibly expect and it was so clean and well presented. My contact with the owner was vey business like and efficient. The TV in the villa played DVDs but the TV channel selection was limited to Spanish or UK News. The walk to the marina and the Papagayo beaches might be too much for some and the walk into Playa Blanca centre will be too far for most and I would recommend a hire car. The local centre is a 10 minute walk away. This is still being developed and some of the shops are being fitted out. Here there is a bus stop for buses to Playa Blanca (every 30mins) and a taxi rank. There are a couple of restaurants and a sports bar showing all the Sky Sports in the local centre and soon there will be a small supermarket. I would certainly recommend this villa to a friend or relative and would like to be able to return myself soon.
