Large, bright and comfortable penthouse with a large and comfortable terrace in the center of Rome with a view of the Colosseum (reachable on foot in 5 minutes) and many other monuments: Campidoglio, Fori Imperiali, Altare della Patria, San Pietro, San Giovanni, Obelisco. ..
Apartment composed of: 2 double bedrooms (a double bed can be divided into two single beds); kitchen with hob, extractor hood, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and everything needed for cooking; living room with dining table for 6 people, double sofa bed and TV; study with desk, office chair, reading armchair and play corner for children; bathroom with double window complete with shower, bidet, toilet and sink; terrace with dining table for 6, sofa and armchairs, deck chairs, covered area with sofa, lighting, awning.
In the apartment you will find all the services: Air conditioning, heating, Wifi, smart TV, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine with pods, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothesline, bathroom and bed linen and complete supply for the kitchen.
Strategic position, very close to the most important monuments, but outside the limited traffic area. Restaurants, supermarkets, pubs, typical restaurants, specialty shops, services around the apartment. Served very well by buses, trams and subways. A short distance from Termini train station (25/30 minutes on foot, 15/20 by bus, even less by taxi)
Possibility to rent electric bicycles and Segways and book guided bicycle tours under the house. Paid garage next door.

What a fantastic rooftop apartment - clean- updated- and wonderfully situated close to the Colosseum, the Forum and plenty of great restaurants in the Monti section of Rome! The rooftop terrace with sights to the Colosseum were a fantastic way to take in the morning sunshine or finish a day with a cool breeze and glass of wine! Our family of six fit very well and enjoyed the layout of the space. The hosts were very responsive (minutes) to any questions we had. In summary, when we go back to Rome, we’ll stay here once more.

Rome Retreat

In the heat of summer, the apartment was an amazing retreat after visiting the sites. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing on the terrace and enjoying the views.

We had an absolutely wonderful three-night stay at this charming apartment in Rome! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The check-in process was seamless and Francesca was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips that truly enhanced our trip. She and Stefano also arranged for a driver to get us to and from the apartment, which was a huge help. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to fast Wi-Fi and comfortable bedding. The air conditioning was a huge plus during the warm summer nights. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee pods, and recommendations to local restaurants. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better. Nestled in a quiet yet central neighborhood, we were within walking distance to the Colosseum, which you can see from the rooftop, and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and gelato spots. We felt safe and well-connected throughout our stay. This apartment truly felt like a home away from home. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay in Rome, look no further. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Rome!

I would highly, highly recommend this property. The hosts are amazing and attentive and very helpful even when my questions seemed silly. When we come back to Rome we won’t stay anywhere else. They also arranged transfer to/from airport for the going price.

Beautiful view from the roof patio!

This penthouse was trendy, clean and it had a great rooftop space! Ideal spot away from the touristy area. You are a 10 min walk to the Colosseum and you can see it from the rooftop. There’s a great cafe right across the street. Property Manager is very attentive. I’d highly recommend.

Beautiful roof top flat

We had a great time lounging on the spacious deck in the morning and evening. It is a very short walk to some good places to eat and about a half hour walk to the central tourist part of town. The hosts have set this place up nicely and the flat is most comfortable. I would recommend it to my friends as a casual and affordable place to stay. I will have good memories of Rome and our stay here.

Fantastico

From the start to the end nothing but professionalism on everything. Stefano and Francesca are the best :) The apartment met all our expectations. Great location especially with the little "speakeasy" directly across the street. Even our driver they sent us was Excellent. I really can't say one negative about this experience. Hope to be back and sit outside with my coffee listening to the church bells soon. Grazie mille ☺️

First time in Rome

Francesca and Stefano are fabulous hosts! We arrived early and were able to store our luggage. They provided restaurant recommendations and a nice overview of the neighborhood. Very responsive to any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The terrace is amazing and such a relaxing spot to enjoy coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. Also, the air conditioning keeps the apartment very comfortable.

The rooftop!! Otherworldly!!

This was a terrific location for our short visit to Rome. The owners were extremely helpful on check in and the recommendations for store and restaurants close by. The metro is a few blocks away and was very convenient. The rooftop was the best part of the apartment. We had coffee every morning and watched the sunrise and the swallows fly around us. It truly felt like a movie. The unit is on the 6th floor but they have an elevator. I would highly recommend this space and hope to stay here again one day.

Absolutely superb

From booking, to help with airport transfers, to arriving, our short stay was wonderful. Stefano and Francesca were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is wonderful - so close to the city, with a beautiful terrace. It is very modern and well designed and very individual with lovely details like the doors and the kitchen cupboards . The building is beautiful with a proper old fashioned lift. We followed Francesca’s restaurant recommendations and were not disappointed. Thanks so much for a great stay. All the very best. Rome Away from Home

The location is amazing and the space is incredible!- the patio was the highlight. Francesca was the best host and met us at the curb to welcome us and get us settled. It is a five minute walk to the Colosseum and central to all other locations. The space is probably best suited for 4 people- two in each room. The unit is on the 6th floor- hence the great views- but the elevator is easily accessible. The exterior doors are generally locked and an attendant is on site so the location feels very safe. There is a great market across the street and the location is on the bus route. We would definitely stay there again!

Magnifico!!

Our stay was amazing! Stefano and Francesca were exceptionally helpful, especially for first time Rome visitors. The location is great, within easy access to many of Rome’s top tourist spots. The Colosseum is a short walk and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain and Pantheon are within walking distance. The nearest Metro station is a 10 minute walk. We couldn’t get enough of the location and the view. We will be recommending this apartment to anyone who will listen :-). Primo location and great help from the owners. The place is as advertised and more. We will be back.

Amazing location

We had and amazing experience! From the time we arrived to the time we left, the manager was a great help. The property was amazing, the terrace was beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the terrace enjoying the amazing sights of Rome, drinking wine and enjoying the cool evening breeze. Francesca the maneuver was such a huge help. She answered all questions, helped out with transportation and giving us instructions when we asked. The apartment was so neat and clean. We had everything we needed. Coffee, extra blankets, extra towels. Amazing experience!,

Beautiful spot in Rome!

This place was wonderful! Very clean and spacious for our family of 5. Air conditioning worked well, which was greatly appreciated over some very hot days. The terrace was very special, and was perfect for early morning coffee and a glass of wine after days of sightseeing. We especially loved the delicious coffee and easy to use coffee/espresso maker. It’s on the top floor of an older building, but the elevator worked well and was especially helpful with our luggage. Lovingly decorated with modern touches and lots of great character. Excellent location - is within a stone’s throw of the colosseum; and walking distance of all the other attractions. It’s also easily accessible via the local bus line if you prefer not to walk - you can purchase tickets at the Tobacco shop right across the street, and the bus stops less than one minute away. Great neighborhood, close to grocery stores and some amazing restaurants and bakeries, yet also a bit quieter and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Hosts were excellent! Super responsive, knowledgeable, easy check in/out, and provided great recommendations. We loved it here and would happily return. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay

We have just returned from a 14 night stay at this fantastic property. Stefano arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and also for our return home. It is in a great area, away from the hustle and bustle but within less than 10 minuite walk you are at the collesium and all the other attractions. We purchased underground tickets just across the road and at 1.5 euros per journey, they are an excellent price. The apartment was on the top (6th) floor with a lift that was a god send. The inside was very clean with everything you could wish for and more. The terrace is fabulous and it made it too easy just to sit there all day. Loved sitting there with a long cold drink after sightseeing all day, well to be honest several cool drinks!!. It was big enough to sit in the sun or in the shade. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Francesca came to clean on the seventh day, she cleaned it better than any 5star hotel, A+++++. The interior was lovely with querky features. The air conditioning was in all rooms and much needed. I cannot say a bad word about this place. I would definately book this again if I should return to Rome. A big thanks to Stefano and Francesca

Just perfect in all respects

Thoughtful & caring: We had a special request (a study book sent to the apartment from Amazon). The package arrived all destroyed, so Francesca & Stefano just quickly ordered the same book for us and it was there the next day. We wanted to share this example to show how thoughtful and caring they are. Check in process and communication: Just perfect. Very quick in response both before or during our stay, and upon checkin we were greeted by Francesca already in the garage and went to the apartment together, which is a nice experience, you don't stand in the street looking to access an apartment. Equipment & cleanliness: As other reviewers have already pointed out, the apartment is spotless clean and very well thought through - it has everything you need, you can truly feel at home. Quietness: Excellent, both bedrooms are very quiet, you hear very little noise from the street (and we are unfortunaltey pretty noise sensitive). The house is quiet too (plus a well insulated entrance door). Terrasse: One of the highlights, make sure to get one sunrise and/or a sunset - the pictures from the Colosseo and surroundings taken from the terrasse are a beautiful opportunity. Parking: You can either park in the streets for free or just 20 meters away in the garage. This is EUR 50 a day (for a full 24 hours), but they are excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you for this amazing stay!

Could not have been more perfect!

Francesca and Stephano’s apartment MADE our stay in Rome and Francesca’s thoughtfulness and kindness is what you hope for in a host when you book VRBO. The terrace is absolutely fantastic. It is so spacious and well-appointment (with different seating areas, including one that’s covered if it showers); it became our main living area. We felt connected to the city even if we “stayed in”. Everything is super clean, details are well thought out, there are extras of things you might need (pillows, blankets), and the apartment is homey without feeling cluttered. It feels clean and spacious but welcoming. The apartment is well positioned. A small supermarket across the street; the Colosseum just down the street; bus and tram lines right there with subway nearby; Via Meraluna is nearby and is lovely to stroll at night and is full of restaurants and shops; between the apt and the Colosseum, the streets are full of restaurants….the whole area is lively but not loud. There’s also an excellent bike rental shop just down from the apartment…Top Bike Rentals. Very convenient. We cannot say enough about Francesca as a host! She is patient and kind, explains everything clearly, is available for questions if you need her…..she is just absolutely lovely. The perfect VRBO host. Francesca, thank you so much for everything! This place was amazing! Instructions were very clear for check in. It was so close to everything. The view from the rooftop was awesome. The kitchen had everything we needed and coffee was provided, but there was a nice coffee shop across the street as well. The beds were comfortable. The grocery store was close and doubled as a bounce location to store my luggage on the last day (through the bounce app of course).The host was so helpful and accommodating, and she reached out throughout our stay to make sure we were ok and to help if we needed anything. She set up transportation to and from the airport for us which I was so thankful for. I cannot say enough about this experience, location, and host. Absolutely wonderful!!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I come back to Rome! Thank you so much!

Our stay at this penthouse flat in Rome was just perfect. The owner was in communication with us during the booking process and throughout our stay. They even arranged a private car to pick us up from the airport and bring us to the flat for a surprisingly low cost. This was my husband's first time in Europe, and he had some trepidation prior to arriving. Any anxiety he had was wiped away as soon as we stepped into this beautiful flat. It was a very comfortable temperature thanks to the AC, which was definitely needed due to the heatwave in Rome at the time. The flat had an authentic charm to it that you can't find in most places, and it really felt like a home away from home. The entire place was spacious, immaculate, and the beds were very comfortable. My favorite part of this penthouse rental was the massive terrace. It was a delight to sit back and relax with a nice bottle of Italian Chardonnay and a charcuterie board while taking in the incredible views of the Colosseum. If you're scrolling through available places to stay for your trip to Rome and you see this flat is available, I highly recommend you decide to stay here because you will not be disappointed.
