About this property
Walk to the lake or hike/bike the nearby trails steps out the front door!
A cute, renovated vacation cabin close to the lake at Lake Tahoe available for rent. This small quaint back cabin is located off a private road nestled behind a main cabin. A few steps out the front door lead you to tons of hiking and biking trails in the Tahoe National Forest or pack a lunch and take the ½ mile stroll down to the lake where you can enjoy a picnic at Moon Dunes Beach (a much less crowded public beach than Kings Beach). North Tahoe Regional Park is about ¾ mile walk and a 7 mile drive to Northstar Ski Resort. This back cabin was remodeled with a brand new kitchen, bathroom and washer/dryer. One queen bed in the bedroom, two twin beds in the sleeping loft and an uncomfortable pull out couch will make this cabin perfect for a party of 4 or 5, especially little ones that don't mind a pull out couch (I have yet to meet a comfortable one)! Please note the bathroom is located through the bedroom, so those staying in the loft will need to cross the bedroom to access the bathroom. Relax on the front deck and listen to the sounds of the bubbling snow creek in season. The 24 hour Safeway is just 1 mile away, many restaurants are within walking distance, Old Brockway Golf Course is right next to Safeway and the Casinos are just 3 miles away at Stateline. The cabin is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Please note, during heavy snow winters you will park your car and use the snow-shoveled path to walk about 100 ft to access the cabin. Note the driveway may be icy at times so please use caution! Check out the front cabin if you're looking for more space: https://www.vrbo.com/supply/home/?propertyId=96847653

What a great experience. The property is really beautiful and close to many activities. The host was wonderful and always kept me in the loop. I highly recommend and will be booking during the summer. Thanks again Liz!
Phenomenal little cabin, tucked away off of the hectic and busy lakefront Avenue. Perfectly situated back up in the woods with great little hiking trails directly in front of the cabin. Well maintained, stocked and cared for.
Close to the beach and ofc, so many trails nearby. We hiked and grilled everyday and this was a perfect small cabin for me, husband and the dog. Thanks!
Cute place, great location, responsive host. The house was exactly as described. It was a perfect launching spot for seeing the sights and enjoying the lake and everything the area has to offer. We had a great week.
This place is perfect. We were able to drive and walk to explore a lot of Tahoe and Truckee. Communicating with Liz was very easy. We had a great stay with our 11&13 year old boys.
We had a great time here. The cabin was perfect for our family of three. It was cozy, easy to find, and had what we needed for our trip. We will plan to come back for the summer.
The cabin was nice and quaint. Perfect for the little getaway my wife and I had planned. Everything we needed was there and very comfortable. The hostess was great and attentive. She was very pleasant to deal with and answer our questions. We will be back for sure but will bring our daughter for the next trip!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is cozy and had everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to the lake and nice walking trails very close by.
Very cute nostalgic cabin. My boys loved all the board games and legos. The loft was so fun. We found it very comfortable, tidy and well appointed.

About the host
Hosted by Liz Stevens
Our family purchased this property in 2011 when our kids were 3 & 5 and it has been amazing to make so many memories at the beach in the summer or on the ski hills in the winter. The property came with a back cabin where we had 1 tenant renting year round. He decided to move and we made the choice to update the back cabin and share it with other families to make such great memories as we have.
Why they chose this property
Location, location location... this cabin is close to the beach, hiking trails, North Tahoe Regional Park and is also located in a quiet quant location off the beaten path.
What makes this property unique
A bubbling snow creek is a few feet away, when hanging on the front porch you can hear the relaxing, flowing creek. This location gives you a feeling of seclusion while having all of the daytime activity and nightlife that Tahoe has to offer so close by.
