After 20 years flying for British Airways, I was lucky enough to see much of the world and develop a deep appreciation for homes with character. When I began buying and restoring period properties in my spare time, I found enormous satisfaction in bringing them back to life.
Gardening has always been part of who I am — from the age of five, I was mentored by an elderly neighbour who once tended the royal gardens. This flat has been my proudest restoration project: combining history, craftsmanship, and the calm of a private garden right in the heart of London.

Over three years, I worked with a brilliant craftsman named Eddie to restore every detail by hand, marrying period elegance with modern comfort.
Today, the flat feels both grand and welcoming: high ceilings, natural light, and a private garden with a self-contained cabin that adds a sense of privacy and calm. Even estate agents have said they’ve never seen anything quite like it. It’s a rare balance of heritage and tranquility in Zone 2 London — and I hope guests feel as lucky staying here as I do living here.
