Le Scalette is a 16th century old farm complex. in the Tuscans
hills just 10 miles outside of Florence.
It has been completely restored with all modern conveniences but it has retained the wonderful rustic feeling and simple elegance of the old Tuscan farm houses.
A small unpaved country road will lead you to the property through vineyards and olive groves.
The village of San Vincenzo in Torri, and the Museum of the Ceramics in the nearby town of Montelupo, the center of ceramic and terracotta is considered one of the most important of its kind.
Beautiful view of the country side.
Trekking, riding, swimming and golf within reach, Tuscany to every direction.

Worth the wait

We went for my 50th birthday. We felt like locals. The host was amazing and the property was beautiful.

Patrizia was an incredible host. Extremely attentive to our needs and checked in with us daily. She offered to order pizza for us our first night when we arrived late and made dinner reservations another night. Her house is so charming. We loved the decorations and cozy feel of the place. The only discomfort we had was with the twin bed. It was very uncomfortable and hard. The others beds were very comfortable though. Also it was very hot in August and the portable air conditioners in each bedroom would pop the breaker turning off the power in the house. Patrizia was very helpful and told us how to turn on the breaker so when it happened a few more times we were able to reset it.

Tuscany Treasure

Patricia was the very best host. Willing to help us with directions and finding interesting places to visit. She was totally welcoming and made our stay ever so comfortable. Would love to stay again.

Sharon and her friends were just the nicest best guests I have had this year. Friendly, open to suggestions, very organised with their few days vacation and most pleasant. they left the apartment in great condition i would love to host them again.

Beautiful property in Tuscany!

Patrizia was wonderful! She was very helpful in getting us checked in and providing recommendations in the area. We loved the location. From the house, it is a 20 miin drive to the train station to get to Florence and is perfect for day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, etc.

Tuscany Christmas

We stayed there with my family (6) for the Christmas holidays. Patrizia is a great host and made us feel home. Such a nice place. Wonderfull decorated. Nice fully equiped kitchen and a warm and cossy living. Even in the winter the garden looks nice and taken care of. I woul love to see this in spring or autum. Close to Florence but happy to stay outside. Just book it. You will not regret.

Stunning, private, comfortable place!

The apartment is very clean, comfortable, and stylish. The kitchen provides everything you can think of. The grounds and views are beautiful! In addition to beauty the place is very convenient to explore Tuscany by car. We did day trips to Siena, Certaldo, Fiesole, and Volterra. Patricia recommended us Vinci - birthplace of Leonardo. Patricia is a great host - communication with her was easy and pleasant. She saved us when on our last day we had to go to the airport and the rented car didn't start, she asked her sister to take us to Firenze airport! (taxi was not available on Sunday morning). Patricia, thank you very much! I'd like to come back to the this beautiful place!
