Host meet me on arrival, very pleasant. Amenities were as an expected, very clean, organized. A great pub just minutes down the road and a village store with everything I needed.
Nice property, in a nice area. We were lucky with the weather. Property had everything you need. Host was very pleasant. Only minor niggle was the internet speed, 30Mbps download speed early in the morning, 0.2Mbps in the evening when I guess others were sharing.
A v. warm welcome from Mick & Buffy with advice on walks & pubs.Cosy accommodation with all needed for a perfect 4 night stay. Well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds.Thank you!
Really lovely converted threshing barn in a quiet and friendly village, close to Wells, Cheddar, and Wookey Hole, and within 45 minutes of Weston-super-Mare and Longleat among others.
Really well presented, thoroughly clean, and well kitted out. We didn’t think the photos did it justice!
There are some lovely walks directly from the property, plenty of countryside to explore.

A lovely cottage to stay in.
A lovely cottage to stay in. Nothing was too much for the hosts. Apple pressing taking place when we stayed and fresh apple juice and cider when we arrived. Good location to Cheddar and other places of interest.

Quiet relaxing stay with plenty to see and do locally
Comfortable and well appointed property with friendly owners happy to answer queries and give local advice. Short walk down the hill to the village pub with good ales and food. The village is close to Wells with an interesting cathedral and a good variety of shops and eating places. There are several National Trust properties within 45 minute drive, the coast by the Bristol channel with long beaches for walking and interesting sights at Burnham on sea and Clevedon. Also headland walks. Avalon marshes worth a visit although not much bird activity in September. Museums for wet weather activities and also Haynes Motor Museum worth a visit.

Extremely friendly owners who gave us much advice about the local area.
Extremely friendly owners who gave us much advice about the local area. Told us the best route to walk Cheddar Gorge, went on a glow worm walk with us and let us feed the pigs. They also recommended Clevedon Pier and Kilve Beach, both of which we enjoyed. Great location to visit Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury and Avalon Marshes. Definitely somewhere we want to go back to.
