This newly refurbished ground floor apartment is just minutes from the shores of Lake Windermere, and all amenities including restaurants, bars shops and the wonderful Beatrix Potter attraction.. 1 step to entrance.

This cosy one bedroom apartment has been refurbished to a very high standard with new carpets and furnishings throughout. The ideal place for couples to get away. It is in the heart of Bowness, steps from the lake. Bars, restaurants and shops only 200 yards away. Perfect to use as a base to explore all the area has to offer.

Refurbished in November 2022 this ground floor apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen that has all the utensils, crockery and cutlery you need for your stay, a bedroom, bathroom and living room with TV and DVD player, and parking for one car. All linen and towels are provided. Wi-Fi included.

The two-storey town house comprises of two separate apartments, Belle View (ref 16645) occupies the upper part of the building including the balcony and Bownessy’s Retreat (ref 26989) is all on the ground floor. Both properties can be booked together and are an ideal all year round holiday retreat for a family or friends.

A lovely apartment which we have used previously.

A lovely apartment which we have used previously. Bed comfortable but pillows definitely need upgraded. Also only one hand towel for 2 people for a 4nt stay.Apartment is in a lovely central location. Only 2min walk to town centre.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable, unfortunately we found some very disgusting utensils in the draw. A potato masher with potato stuck in the grooves and the most disgusting wooden spoon I have ever seen. Luckily for us we didn't intend to do any cooking as the location of the property was literally a 5 minute walk to some great pubs and restaurants.

Handy location

Unit is downstairs with one above. Sign in house advises that sound travels easily between the units. Would have been good to know this before booking. Just hope the guests above aren't party people or have elephant feet. 5 nin walj yo lots of eateries pubs and the jetties for cruises.

We have stayed here lots of times.

We have stayed here lots of times. Very happy to always go back however prices in the summer are far too high. it is classed as for 4 people but we have only ever been 2 as making a settee into a bed would really restrict movement in the room. Crockery is minimal and this time one of the plates and a mug had a crack through them however i left them out and am sure they will be replaced. There is no internet but you can use your hotspot as the signal was good. Great location as very near the centre yet the road is super quiet. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
