This was a great property with a cabin experience. The property had everything you needed to enjoy the stay. Kevin was a great host and very responsive. I would highly recommend it if you want a cabin experience with beautiful forest and water views and a close proximity to Bar Harbor, Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park
This cabin is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy peaceful vacation. Kevin was responsive and the guidebook that he offered was incredible. We could not have been happier. Thank you so much for hosting us Kevin!
We loved this sweet cabin overlooking the water. Perfect distance from Bar Harbour and all the trails. Very peaceful. Kevin was a great host and supplied plenty of information about the island and attractions. Island Explorer bus is a must in summer months. It saved us so much time. We loved Echo Lake and some of the quieter towns. We got to see everything on our list. Would love to come back and would rent here again
First timer at baycliff. Pure coincidence. Amazing surprise. I was resistant, since I booked it as a " family trip" and ended up going alone. We used to rent a different cabin in Acadia for 21 years. The cabin is very well equipped comparing to what we were used to. very thoughtful . The best hit for me was the dish heater, heating whole cabin , to the point i got the same when I got back. Also walking dogs at night the little plugged flashlight by the door broke my heart. what a thoughtful touch. The bed was very comfortable ( not a cheap mattress ). Fire stove, and wonderful water view with a big living room space. Kevin checked with me the same evening, and was very responsive and informative. I really enjoyed rainy afternoon, just being able to stay in the cabin not rushing to any hiking. Amazing place to stay.

The cabins are wonderful places for some alone time. I love those parabolic heaters - they keep you warm like a rotisserie chicken!
The view was beautiful. The property is private and quiet. It was a true cabin experience with necessary wi-fi if you plan on working remotely. Everything was very clean upon arrival. We did not do much cooking but everything you need to prepare a meal is available. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone who does not need a/c on hot humid days. My husband also enjoyed using the wood burning stove to heat the cabin on a couple of nights it was a little cool.Location is just a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We took advantage of the Island Explorer at the Gateway Center on our first trip to Acadia. We also took the 30 minute plane ride available by the airport. Very much recommend!!There are only two things that would have improved our stay minutely...1. Access to the beach. 2. Washer and dryer available to guesthouse. With that being said, there is a laundromat in Bar Harbor.
Just as described in listing. Nice spot, close to town but far enough out to be private. Cabin is older but well maintained and cozy with a fire going in the wood stove. The cabin is a nice reminder of simpler times.
House was perfect! Exactly as described and had everything we needed. Close to the Park , extremely comfortable for both us and our adventurous dog. The addition of a wood burning stove was very welcome when the temperature dipped . All communications and check in were super easy - looking forward to returning next year... thanks for helping us have a terrific , well needed vacation

What a wonderful review! A stay in the cabin is a true "glaming" experience!
College roommates taking a fall long weekend break to do some hiking in the Acacia national Forest, cottage is close by everything, and quaint and comfortable
Great central location and convenient to the park as well as the “quiet side” of the island. Nothing fancy, but it was comfortable, a true “Maine” experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Thank you for that review! Our cabins really do have a comfy Maine feel to them.
Extremely quiet location (aside from the falling acorns), with beautiful views & sunrises. Property is as described & owner very responsive. Check-in/out was a breeze. Really enjoyed our visit.
We loved our stay at Baycliff’s guest cabin and look forward to returning next year. Perfect quiet and private location. Close to Acadia, which stole our hearts!
We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed to be comfortable, and the location was great; it was close to everything we wanted to do but still far enough away to be quiet and peaceful in the evenings. The view from the dock was gorgeous! Our hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions/requests. We would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was everything I imagined and more! The location was excellent and in close proximity to Acadia hikes and the village center! The privacy and the surrounding areas near water were pretty and accessible and great for local walks! Highly recommend

Thank you for your review! So many guests turn the Guest House into their base of operations. Though you can have adventures right out the door!
The Pines is exactly as listed and provides a very convenient location close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch looking at Frenchman’s Bay. Beds were comfortable and this rental is perfect for those looking for a clean, no frills cottage close to everything.

Great View & quiet Location Close to Acadia and nearby towns. Basic Cabin. Small rooms but had what needed. Great View and quiet location to get away from crowds.
The home was adorable and cozy, the owners were extremely helpful and it was just a few mins from everything we needed to do. We loved sitting by the wood stove and spending family time in the evening after night fishing and shell searching.

This is such a lovely description of a vacation in the cabins. The wood stoves are wonderful and make good heat too!
Kevin was a very welcoming host, very communicative and responsive. The cabin was most comfortable, especially with the wood burning stove to take the morning chill out of the air. Great access to Bar Harbor and Acadia. A very restful and enjoyable stay!
