Lovely location definitely need a car as several miles to a main road via a rough track , All coal

Lovely location definitely need a car as several miles to a main road via a rough track , All coal and wood supplied for the log burner . No local shops so need to take food with you and then pick up more if you see a food store. If you want to eat out nearest pub for food a few miles away Interesting places to visit eg Coniston and Windermere lakes and Ravenglass within easily drivable distances but through very twisty and up and down mountain roads once you get up to the main road .
