Family owned cottage set in beautiful landscape gardens.

Looking south west towards the stream that runs through the beautiful grounds at The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth, Yarg is one of a group of purpose built, privately owned holiday cottages, set in a peaceful valley close to the beach at Maenporth in Falmouth.
Onsite facilities include tennis courts, children’s outdoor play area and an indoor plunge pool (seasonal opening hours) making this a practical venue for families looking for a coastal holiday. Beautifully presented, the kitchen is well equipped and al-fresco dining is a must. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two doubles and a single plus a family bathroom. Yarg is on the south side of the Village set along the stream which runs the length of the grounds. A fifteen minute walk along country lanes will take you to Swanpool beach, ideal for families with a beach café and watersport hire and tuition. The bustling resort of Falmouth is a 10 minute drive where there is lots on offer for all ages and interests including the National Maritime Museum. The town is packed with a vibrant mix of cafes and restaurants, shops and galleries.

The North Helford region has much to offer with beautiful woodland, creeks and villages and many fine restaurants. The magnificent, subtropical gardens of Trebah are a day out for the whole family. 4 miles of footpath with adventure play areas for children, the gardens cascade down to their very own beach on the Helford River, a perfect spot for a summer picnic. Yarg makes the perfect getaway and ideal for enjoying this diverse and beautiful region at any time of year.

Nice Holiday Cottage

A lovely holiday cottage.Set in nice,quite,green surroundings.We travelled down from Perth, Scotland to spend a few days in Cornwall.And our whole visit to the area was fantastic.The cottage location is good.As all main beaches,Supermarket's & Falmouth town are all within 20mins by car.

The property is in a lovely area we were able to visit many places within 60/90 minutes.The pool small but my 3year old granddaughter loved it and kept her amused every evening.We had a fabulous week stay.

Spotlessly clean. Hosts have thought of everything. Comfy beds plenty of dishes, cutlery etc High chair and baby gates all in good order. The Pendra complex is very well kept. If Falmouth is on your list this would be an excellent choice.An easy 5 stars. Really good place.

Stunning Cottage

We have been staying at Pendra Loweth every year since 2008 because we absolutely love the place. Only issue we had with this cottage is we didn't find it sooner. Hopefully plan to stay here annually now. It really is the most beautiful cottage. The owners were fantastic with their communication.

Great family holiday

Beautiful location, great base for seeing the area which hosts lots to do. Our home for the week was lovely, clean and comfortable, had everything and more that we needed. Thank you for the much needed tea, coffee and complimentary biscuits on arrival. Would highly recommend to stay here to anyone x

Falmouth visit

A lovely cottage! The location was central to be able to get around the area, but in a nice quiet location. The hosts were great with clear instructions and all the amenities needed fpr pir trip.

A gorgeous little cottage nestled in the valley…

This well presented, homely cottage is in a well located part of Cornwall. Inside is immaculate with every utensil available. Well decorated and smells lovely too. Communication is great with owners would highly recommend

Great holidays in Falmouth

We spend a few days, it was very confortable and Graham explain us everything very well.We played tennis ( but rackets and balls were very old …) Only one thing to say : In the rooms there are no shutters and we are quickly woken up by the light.

Quiet cottage near Falmouth

Wonderful quiet cottage in a very green and well maintained holiday village. The beaches can be reached with 20 minutes walk. The kitchen is well equipped and you find everything you need in the cottage. There is also a little shop and bar close to the reception of the holiday village.

Nice Property

Nice Property which is well equipped but not that clear that it is in a holiday park. Not easy walking distance to the beach. The bar onsite handy which does meals on all days except Wednesday. Tennis courts and football net onsite which provides some activities for Children. Good beaches nearby and not far from Falmouth.

Family Break

The cottage was clean and we liked the layout of the cottage. They even provided tea and coffee things which was a nice touch! We really enjoyed staying here and it was perfect to get to all the places we wanted to visit - my kids enjoyed having a selection of books and games to use. The only disappointmenting thing was the swimming pool you have access to, its really small. The hosts were great, we had an issue, which was resolved straight away. Definitely recommend this cottagefor a family holiday. Also you don't have to bother bringing your seaside things, as everything is provided, even a cooler - which was great for us.

Great home from home

The property is one of the best we have stayed in. Located in Pendra loweth which is a lovely setting with beautiful gardens and a few miles from 3 beaches it really is a home from home. The property itself is spacious with a well equipped kitchen and everything is good quality. There were a lot of extras like the coffee maker and tea, coffee and milk there on arrival. The bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage. The extras also included buckets and spades, a cool box and windbreak for the beach. There are patio doors at the back opening onto your own patio area overlooking the beautiful gardens and I have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Lovely stay in Falmouth, Cornwall

A lovely surprise to find this accommodation in a beautiful little valley quite close to Falmouth Town. Fully equipped and furnished little house, very comfortable for the three of us. The only exception was the hot water supply. I couldn't understand how to get more than one hot bath per day (for the 3 of us) Apart from that, it was superb

Von aussen wirkt das Haus relativ klein. Im inneren des Hauses hatte unsere 5 köpfige Gruppe genügend Platz. Die Umgebung des Hauses ist ruhig und liegt in einem kleinen Tal.

The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).
