Ideally situated only 8 mins walk from beach. Very well furnished and equipped. Part of a holiday home complex with on site parking (but for only 1 car). Owner responded promptly to any request. Thoroughly recommendable,

Thank you very much for your nice review Diana and I´m glad you all enjoyed your stay, Whilst there is only one allocated parking space for the house, there are several unallocated spaces on the site that can be used by anyone. Another alternative with a second car is to keep it at the main beach car park where the weekly rate is very reasonable (currently £29, or free from November to March). You could then keep all your beach gear there.
This property was excellent. It was exactly as described. We have stayed there multiple times and it has always been a pleasure. We would definitely recommend staying in this delightful location at this lovely property.
Really happy with our stay. Plenty of room indoors and front and back outdoor space. Very comfortable and provided everything that we needed.
Nice view from back of the property too.
We had a lovely stay, ten minute walk from Porthtowen beach. and two ideal eating houses. Ideal for the south west coastal path. The weather got better as the week went on.The only disappointment was our bed,( with en-suite bathroom). It was a continental double bed with two single mattresses . It was perfectly comfortable ,but we would have preferred a traditional double with one mattress and a king size quilt. We would happily stay here again, and perfect for up to six people.
We had a wonderful two weeks staying in Geevor. The house had absolutely everything we needed for our stay and was comfortable and spacious for the six of us. We particularly liked being able to sit out on the decking or balcony in the spring sun, and the rear area for washing and hanging wetsuits was extremely useful. Gordon was a very responsive and helpful host. Towan Valley is in a perfect location for walking down to the beach, and for accessing the coastal path. We love this area and have visited several times, and would definitely love to stay at this house again.
It is a wonderful property in a beautiful location. Very well thought through to ensure a comfortable stay with everything you need. Very spacious, indoors and out. We loved it.
Great stay in Porthtowan. Everything was close to hand. The house was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Porthtowan is a lovely place to be and an ideal base.
Can't recommend highly enough. Fantastic high spec property with everything needed for a home from home. Communication and check-in was great. Less than 10 minute walk to beautiful Porthtowan. Would love to come back next year.
We're been visiting Porthtowan for years but this was the first time at this property. Absolutely perfect, nothing else to say, couldn't recommend it highly enough.
The accommodation suited our family of five very well. The communication with the host was extremely courteous, everything worked out very well. We can recommend it.
Lovely house and felt so homely. Everything we needed. Gordon was a fantastic host and even delivered a nightlight to the house within 48 hours of us asking whether there was one in the house!
We would definitely recommend to others.
Have visited Porthtowan on many occasions over the years and stopped in a number of properties there. This is by far the best property we have stayed in. It is a short walk down the hill to the beach (less than 5 mins). The property was spotlessly clean, with modern furniture in a spacious open plan setting. The kitchen has everything you need and all utensils, cutlery and crockery match perfectly. Bathrooms were also spotless. A lot of care and attention has been taken by the owner who's communication before during and after has been impeccable. We will certainly be looking to head back in the near future. A gem of a property in one the best little beach resorts Cornwall has to offer.
The property worked well on so many levels.
The rooms were a good size and all are decorated like a home, so you feel instantly relaxed. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are comfy. The outdoor space was great - sun in the back in the morning and sun on the front decking in the evening. Hooks outside the back for drying off wetsuits and space outside for all the surf/beach paraphernalia.
It’s about 10 mins walk to the beach and less to the coast path .. a 3 min hill (yep, we timed it ;) which is steep, but ok to get back to the property. But then you feel like you’ve ‘earned’ your cold beer.
Porthtowan is great. It has places to eat, a village shop, fish and chips and a family friendly beach with the most stunning sunsets!
Really enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave such a beautiful place.
Lovely, clean, well kitted out house with easy access to Porthtowan and the coast. The host was generous in helping us with what we needed for travelling with a toddler and was speedy with responses.
House is great, has everything you need and is clean and tidy! Front outdoor space was also ideal for children to play and meet other children on holiday too.
Porthtowan is quant with a nice village feel. We were lucky most days with weather so didn't leave Porthtowan too much for the week we stayed. The walk up the hill to Towan Valley resort from the beach is quite steep and a bit of mission but is do-able. We were concerned about parking with two cars before we arrived but everyone at the resort double parked in their parking bays and there were plenty of room.
Just one main little grocery shop in Porthtowan so also wise to book a online delivery for when you arrive if you can. Tesco, Asda, sainsbury's and Waitrose all delivered whilst we were there.
Great property a short walk from the beach and surf
Great property, well set out and very comfortable for a family of six as long as people don’t mind sharing. Other children about for a bit of friendship making and games. Local town lacks the capacity needed for the numbers that come here, but the accommodation was wonderful.
