Located in the Burriana area of Nerja, this beautiful, ground floor, one bedroom apartment is just a 7 minute walk from Burriana Beach, with its restaurants, bars and nightlife. The apartment benefits from a new dual heat air-conditioning system + a smart TV with Netflix facility (subscription required) + Wi-Max internet and wi-fi. There is direct access to the community pool from the apartment's terrace. NEW LUXURY BATHROOM INSTALLED! This apartment is perfect for couples and families who prefer a quiet, relaxing location, but just a few minutes from the shops and nightlife of Burriana beach, consistently voted the top beach on the Costa del Sol. Burriana is a town of hills, slopes and steps, which adds to the beautiful scenery of mountains surrounding the town. It also means that although the apartment is just a 7 minute casual stroll down to the beach, it is a10-12 minute walk back up! The Burriana area of Nerja and our apartment, is not the best location for people with mobility issues.
Please be aware that the pool is emptied in November for the winter period for annual cleaning and maintenance. It is usually filled just before Easter each year. However, for the last 2 years the pool has remained filled during the winter months......for the brave only! The pool is not artificially heated, but is usually warm.

Lovely apartment, excellent location

We had a lovely stay here, the location is handy to the beach and to the old town, and although it is very hilly the local taxis are excellent. The terrace and pool area are very quiet and peaceful, the apartment was clean and has everything you might need, while the communication with Alan both before we arrived and while we were there was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Nerja visit 3rd September to 15th September.

Just returned from a lovely 12 day holiday in Nerja. We stayed in Alan’s apartment which is located very close to Burrina beach . The location is excellent for the beach and also to the old town. Would highly recommend it the apartment is very clean and close to all amenities. It has a lovely swimming pool but could do with some parasols as it gets very hot!! The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and 20 minutes to return as it’s uphill! Great shortcut to the old town which only takes 15 - 20 minutes. Alan left a folder with lots of information in the apartment which was very helpful. He also checked with us on arrival if we required any help or assistance and if we did to let him know. Great apartment and would return just be aware when opening the door to the apartment their are a set of steps as the apartment is on the lower floor which is great to get access to the pool.

L'annonce correspond bien au logement qui est en très bon état, piscine peu fréquentée et agréable. Cuisine moyennement bien équipée, pas de four par exemple. Distance de la mer à pied bonne mais côtes à monter pour rentrer. Moustiques le soir. Propriétaire très disponible mais par mail.

Alvin le propriétaire est toujours disponible sur Whatsapp pour répondre en cas de problème. Appartement agréable, dommage qu'il y ai une odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain. À signaler aussi que cet appartement est déconseillé aux personnes à mobilité réduite car beaucoup de marches pour y accéder. Bien situé par rapport à la plage de Burriana et pas trop loin du centre de Nerja. On peut tout faire à pied.

My name is Alan Jardine and my wife’s name is Viera.

I am British and Viera is Slovak. We live in Slovakia, where we both work as private English teachers. I also work as a session musician and voice-over artist and Viera is a potter and gardening enthusiast.

We have been holidaying in Spain for many years now and we love Nerja. We like it so much that in 2011 we got married there! The wedding ceremony took place in El Salvador Church on the Balcon de Europa and the reception was held on Calahonda Beach and in El Colono Restaurant, complete with flamenco dancers. Highly recommended if you’re not sure where to get married!

Why they chose this property

This is why in 2016 we decided to buy a property there, Mi Casa. Then in 2018, we took the plunge to invest in another Nerja property in the Burriana Beach area, which has its own communal pool.

During our holidays, we have stayed in many properties, some good, some not so good. Some in good areas, some in not such good areas and many for extortionate prices.

So we determined that we would like our apartments to be in the best areas and decorated and furnished to the standard that we would like to stay in ourselves. But also, to be able to offer a high quality apartment at a very affordable price. With this in mind we chose the Castilla Perez area of Nerja for our first apartment, as it is so close to all the amenities that the Old Town has to offer. Our second apartment is in the more ‘avant-garde’ area of Burriana Beach, with all the lively bars and nightlife, plus of course the attraction of the famous Burriana Beach. But Nerja isn’t big, so both apartments are only about a 20 minute walk from each other. Each apartment area has it’s own special attractions, so it really is your choice as to what your ideal holiday consists of.
