About this property

Can Vishnu: Secluded villa in private grounds w AC

Set close to all amenities, yet totally private and tranquil, Can Vishnu rests on the south side of one of the highest hills on Ibiza. The one storey house is spread over different levels following the contours of the rocks below. The large fitted kitchen opens into a bright dining area which leads to the expansive living room with light from all sides. The six meter sliding double-glazed doors open onto a covered terrace with a view over the pool and the huge terraces. The bedrooms - all with AC - are at both ends of the house; the east wing with the master bedroom and bathroom and two further bedrooms sharing a bathroom. The west wing also has three bedrooms; one ensuite and two sharing a large bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The villa is situated about half way between Ibiza town and Sant Josep. The surrounding countryside provides endless opportunities for quiet walks and cycling. For those interested in nature, the forest has wild orchids and rosemary blooming in the spring, enormous fungi in the autumn. A wide array of wild birds visit the villa and kingfishers and herons have been seen on the villa’s ponds. Throughout the year there is the enchanting background sound of frogs.

Can Vishnu is located just off a back road that connects the south with central Ibiza. The nightclubs Amnesia, Privilege, Pascha, Heart, Ushuaia and Hi can all be reached within 15 minutes.

The closest beaches are Sa Caleta, Cala Jondal (Blue Marlin, Club Tropicana, Es Xarcu), Las Salinas (Jockey Club, Sa Trinxa, Beso, Malibu), Playa D'en Bossa (Beach House, Nassau, Hard Rock, Ushuaia), Es Cavallet (El Chirringuito, Chiringay) and Es Torrent - all within 15 minutes.

Booked the villa to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The spaces inside and out were great and being able to be in the idyllic countryside and yet close to restaurants and bars is great. Will definitely be back!

Tranquil and stylish!

We absolutely loved our stay - thank you! The villa itself is super charming, stylishly furnished and set in a gorgeous garden. The place is very peaceful and you really do feel immersed in nature. We have been coming to the Island for years and have usually stayed in the North or on the South West coast but being so close to the town made a real difference to our stay - the best villa we’ve stayed in for sure. We will be back! Please pass our thanks also to the house manager who was lovely and super helpful.

Spectacular Villa

We have just returned from Can Vishnu and had the most wonderful stay. This villa far exceeded our expectations, it is immaculately clean, a great location and a perfect size for a large group of friends or a couple of families. Teja the property manager is a joy and very helpful. The location was absolutely perfect for us and we will most definitely be back. Thanks to Chris who was more than accommodating after we had to transfer our holiday multiple times due to covid. A really fantastic villa that we happily recommend and give 5 stars.

Beautiful Villa

The villa was beautiful, pool was fantastic and the overall property was very clean. The only thing that could be improved would be having air con in the sitting area and kitchen we didn’t spend any time in the sitting area as it was boiling in the evening and so was the kitchen. Air con in each bedroom was much needed. A word of warning there are a lot of mosquitoes so come prepared with lots of repellent and bite cream. We had a fantastic stay and spend most of our time in the pool.

Thanks for your 5-star review - we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Can Vishnu during the recent heat wave. With AC in every bedroom (and two pools to cool off in) we choose not to add AC in the sitting room mainly because - to work properly - it requires all the adjacent doors and windows to be closed which we found impractical in our villa. Instead, we have several large mobile fans to cool the indoor seating areas but, like you did, we typically prefer to use the many outdoor seating areas when it gets very hot (sometimes even taking the fans out there). Your advice about mosquitoes is sensible to anyone coming to the island - we do have fewer at Can Vishnu being halfway up a mountain - but wise to bring protection wherever you go, and especially if it has been raining in the prior weeks, as was the case for your stay.

Chilled Paradise

We absolutely loved it ! Tranquil paradise in the midst of a busy island . Beautiful villa, with its own tropical park set the middle of nature everything green!! Great size house & pool. you could fit a couple of families comfortably. It has everything you need to feel at home, well equipped vey nice furniture, very comfortable beds everything works, very safe, fenced, gated & alarmed. The villa is in one of the best areas in Ibiza, close to town / airport and some of the best beaches & restaurants if you are looking to recharge look no further! Chris the owner & Teja the villa manager were great from the start, really polite responsive and accommodating. We are regulars on the island I have to say this was by far one of the best experiences we had, we will definitely be back :) Julian & Kelly

Perfekte Woche in Can Vishnu

Tolles Haus mit viel Platz für unsere drei Familien. Hübscher Garten, großer und kleiner Pool, gemütliche Lounge Ecke auf der Terrasse sowie ein großzügiger Barbecue-Bereich. Die Lage ist auch top. Super ruhig und die Stadt Ibiza sowie die tollen Strände sind sehr gut erreichbar.

Der Host hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns die Villa gezeigt. Die Villa an sich selbst ist noch schöner als auf den Bilder selbst. Die Zimmer, Lounge und der Pool sind fantastisch . Gem of a villa

Can Vishnu is a beautiful villa, we stayed there with two of our daughters and their families. Everyone loved being there with two pools and a fantastic outdoor seating area overlooking the pools and the beautiful countryside beyond. Inside was very spacious, bedrooms comfortable and whatever we might need was there in abundance. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager Tejka and Mateo who were very helpful. I first went to Ibiza 23 years ago on a package deal that I had bought off Teletext for £209 (including flight and accommodation - allocated upon arrival...). I got the bug and have been back on average 2 or 3 time a year every year since.

What were initially group getaways with friends, became couples trips and now family holidays. For the last five or six years we have tended to go away with one or two other families sharing a villa, or with the grandparents.

Why they chose this property

It took us three years of searching (and over 100 viewings) to find Can Vishnu.

Our goal was to find a villa that could comfortably fit 3 families if need be, with plenty of space inside and out, that was close to all the beaches, restaurants and clubs we love visiting (who wants to spend their holidays commuting??).

Can Vishnu is situated on the south face of one of Ibiza's biggest hills surrounded by forest and nature. It is secluded and private and feels very relaxed, yet is a short hop from pretty much anywhere you'll want to go.
