Thankyou Leanne for your review -hope you enjoyed having the whole house aircon with the hot weather we’ve been having. I’m passing on compliments from my cleaner saying you and guests left the house in such a good condition—.especially with 7 people /- so much appreciated from her and us. Hope to hear from you again—.always welcome.
Everything was excellent, clean, comfortable, spacious and great location. Very helpful communications and information from the host which contributed greatly to a wonderful time. Thank you
Very nice accomodation and location. Comfortable home close to the beach and not too far out of town. Would recommend it.

Thankyou for your comments Weitske — you and your fellow guests are the guests we always wish for. Glad you enjoyed your stay and Thankyou for leaving our property so neat and tidy. Always welcome.
A great location, so close to a quiet beach and 5 mins from the center of town. Easy access to all places down south. Highly recommend a place for families to stay. Only downside was no WIFI.
Great spot, just across the road from one of the nicest bits of beach. Nice large house, could easily cope with a bigger family. Out of town to be away from the crazy Dunsborough crowds, but not so far that it wasn't hard to head into town for a coffee etc.

Thankyou Liane for your lovely words on your stay— you are the type of guest we always hope for. We hope to hear from you again as you are always welcome to stay at our favourite place.
Simple with all the essentials, comfortable and great location to explore the area. The stove and ample wood supply was very welcome in the rainy winter evenings. Our kids loved the huge lawn and playground nearby. We walked to the beach and cycled up and down the bike path from the house. With Toby’s inlet literally on the back doorstep, I reckon the house would be a haven with a boat. Would definitely come back in the summer.

Toby’s Inlet house
Good location and well equipped. House should have been cleaner, and no air-conditioning in bedrooms. Booking was a nightmare. Very poor communication.

Agreed we are in a fabulous prime location. A pity you didn’t enjoy your stay in our house that backs a river. You rang and complained that a cot and cot linen was not in the house and when I said we don’t provide that and cot linen — you responded saying it’s listed on my website and you would check. I explained it is not on my list of what we provide yet no apology for accusing me when I was correct. I forwarded you places to hire items for babies. At the end of your stay you asked why there was an extra $700 charge — I text to say it was the extra 4 persons charge per night and I did not charge for a person staying one night. I explained that 4 extra people cannot stay for free — it’s not worth us renting out if you divided the cost with our overheads to be $55 each a night. Also instructions were not followed and a doona and pillow slips were stripped off and those slips went to the linen service and lost and not returned. Please note I did not charge you for replacing these by deducting from your bond as is the usual procedure when items disappear. We were in the house prior your stay and have an amazing cleaner — the place was left so clean and ready for your group. Since your enquiry I checked everything was in place and agreed you could stay when normally our house is not rented during Leavers dates. I hope you find a satisfactory place to stay in the future — we feel so lucky to own such a beautiful place in our favourite part of the world
My husband, and two sons, aged 22 and 23 along with a girlfriend, came to have a family getaway. To scuba-dive on the Swan was the main reason. We wanted this location. It was ideal as a boat ramp was only a very short distance away, plenty of room to have the boat at the house, along with joy and a gorgeous beach walk right across the road.
The property was very clean, plenty of rooms and beds could be made up into whatever form we wanted, which was three queen size beds. Very relaxing grounds, with large, shady trees, grass all around and beautiful. background drop of flowing water right past.
We will certainly be booking again for another getaway down south.
We found this house in Quindalup to be a great place to stay that suited all of our needs. There was plenty of room to park the boat and the kids loved being about to just walk across the road to get to the beach. The house is very well equipped with everything you could want and need in your home away from home and communication with Rosemary was excellent. Thanks for a great stay, Rosemary we will be back.

Won’t be staying again
Bedrooms could have been cleaner lots of cobwebs and dead flies on the window screens, we couldn’t use the BBQ as it was full of dead flies and dried on food. Not suitable for less able people to walk either to the beach or river.it was a ok stay

I’m sorry you did not enjoy your stay — My husband and cleaner checked the property before you entered. You couldn’t get flatter access to the calm beach across the road —weve had a friend in a wheelchair , finding it easily accessible . We are disappointed that a person in your party gained access to our locked cleaners cupboard. — the lock was left out and the cupboard open. We can’t control midges and flies at this time of year — they are everywhere down south atm ,f you are unfamiliar with the south west — the dung beetle comes in to control the flies—the flies and midges enter the house as doors are opened— there were mozzie coils under the sink for your use. The bbq has been hardly used.
We loved our stay here, great spot! Unfortunately we were there after and during some very heavy rainfall so the jetty in the backyard onto the creek couldn't be seen. Was very thoughtful that someone had already built up a fire just waiting to be lit, great on such a cold wintery day.

About the host
Hosted by Rosemary
I’ve lived in Perth. I like connecting with guests to ensure their needs are met in order for an enjoyable stay in the South West of Western Australia.
Why they chose this property
Having travelled around Australia in a caravan with our children, Dunsborough has always been our favourite location. Quindalup, a character area within Dunsborough, is so relaxing — and there is so much to do ‘on our doorstep’! We are so close to sight seeing experiences — wineries, breweries, art studios, restaurants, beaches and bays.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with the two unique features this property offered —Toby’s Inlet at the end of the backyard and a beautiful swimming, fishing and boating Bay across the road. We have the house so well resourced it is like ‘home away from home’ for us and we hope guests feel like that too.
