Coronado king suite

MJ took us under her wing the first few days and showed us around and introduced us to some of her friends. Her pool area was gorgeous and we spent lots of time hanging out there. We also enjoyed her two dogs Curly and Mo and really enjoyed taking them on our walks in the morning.Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Our vacation in Playa Coronado

The facilities were excellent! Our hostess was wonderful! We had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable time at Marie’s place. She is a wonderful woman who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She introduced us to a few great restaurants and she is very knowledgeable about the area and most of Panamá. We couple happier and our stay exceeded our expectations. Definitely a place we want to return to.

Suite suites for a King and Queen

What an amazing stay. We showed up on Easter Sunday and Marie invited us to a pool side potluck with her and her friends. They were all wonderful and shared their experiences of becoming expats. Marie gave us a wonderful tour and history of Coronado. I even made 2 golf buddies and got 18 in while the wife enjoyed the pool. Next time we are in Panama we will definitely be staying with Marie again

Upon arriving the property was not as listed. No air conditioner, fan didn’t work properly, no breeze. The suite was dirty and had dog hair everywhere. The owner’s dogs slept on the other side of the connecting door to owners quarters, barking when we spoke or moved, this was a problem. The refrigerator did not work, but there was one out side on the porch. The property was closed in by concrete wall and barbed wire on top which gave it a very confined feeling. Of the five suites we were the only occupants . We did not use the pool. We arrived at 8pm and leave the following morning by 8am. Before we left owner was insistent we leave a review, this was very uncomfortable. My husband left a mild review hoping she would possibly give us a partial refund if she was about to rent the suite after we left. We had paid 3 months in advance. Lesson learned.
Only picture I took, I was so upset and disappointed.

Well, what to say? We felt totally mislead by the ad. We had booked and paid for 2 weeks, but left after 3 days…….really unbearable! Not at all as advertised and we simply left. Couldn’t bear it and destroy our vacation.

Too far out

The beach is within a 5 minute walk But everything else is a long walk in the hot sun. If you are staying here you should rent a car. You cannot walk to the main road to large grocery stores and other shopping. There are 2 nice restaurants and a convenience/booze store a long walk down the road. We always cabbed back. 5$ The suite I stayed in was very nice and clean but after arrival the owner (who resides on the property) informs that AC is used on a restricted basis. When I spoke to her about no hot water she told me "well hot water is a luxury in Panama". I had no hot water my entire stay of 7 days. Only 1 suite fronts onto the pool and there is no bar as pictures would imply. I met some very nice people there and we enjoyed sitting around the pool and sharing some laughs.

Best VRBO Host I've Ever Had

To put it simply as possible, Marie is the best host I have had with VRBO. The place is beautiful with everything you need. It's a close walk to the beach and close to all the shopping. She is well connected and can arrange anything you need. I feel like I have a new friend for life and will keep in touch with her. Beautiful deep conversations by the pool, which the entire area is like a hidden Oasis in the security of her gated compound. I didn't even go to the beach that much even though it was only a half-block away because I had everything I needed right there. She even invited me out to her favorite restraunts and introduced me amazing people and great live music. It was all part of the amazing experience she provided. I am forever grateful! I would never stay anywhere else in Coronado. I will be back!

Perfect location for some beach time in Coronado

This property was perfect and met our needs while in Coronado. Its proximity to the beach was great, it allowed us to explore the area and to do some house hunting as well. A Little Piece of Panama

MJ was just delightful and went out of her way to be helpful, sharing important details about the area. The pool was just lovely - so perfect to swim in everyday. We had such fun going out to a local restaurant Picasso's where we enjoyed dancing with the live band. MJ's mom, Betty, joined us adding to the fun. Once we figured out the A/C, we were able to sleep comfortably and wake up to the sound of birds singing. The kitchen was fully stocked which was wonderful as we love to cook. It was a great experience for us overall.

Safe & Secure walk to the beach location

This rental within the gated Coronado Beach Community is a great location with easy walking access to the beach. Marie and Marke made sure we had what we needed without intruding on us. Very nice pool area that allowed you to soak up the rays or relax in the shade when the sun got too hot. Our suite provided us with all of the essentials. Short drive into the town of Coronado with 2 supermarkets (Rey & 99) along with bakeries and general merchandise stores. In general road signs are so-so although Google maps did a good job with directions, sometimes the road names did not match. Did our car rental through Thrify at the Tocumen Airport, no issues. A lot of places dont take credit cards so plan according (supermarkets and car rental did). Recommend the Zip line in El Valle. Smaller but well done.

Excellent relaxing poolside stay in Coronado

Great stay. Easy access to the beach, secure parking. Clean, friendly, and comfortable. We had a great time visiting with Marie. She gave excellent instructions to her location. Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby. We stopped at the store on our way in to get some essentials, like coffee and wine. We also stopped at at roadside vendor to pick up some fresh pineapple, papaya, tomatoes, and bananas. Our unit was fully equipped. The pool was clean and inviting. We spent some time in the pool and some just sitting near reading. We spent a very enjoyable week here and would refer our friends here for a relaxing time close to the ocean. L&B

Wonderful Vacation

Me and my fiance loved our stay. We could not have picked better hosts, Marie and Mark were very helpful and accommodating. I made a last minute reservation the day before I was coming, it was also Christmas eve. Marie was very helpful with the reservation and the room was beautiful, there was even a nice care package from Santa waiting for us. The pool area and pool are as beautiful and relaxing as the pictures show. Marie set up a jungle tour and fishing trip for us. The jungle tour is a must, the fishing was fun and the company was great. There are alot of good restaurants nearby and the fire works for new years eve were incredible! I look forward to hopefully staying there again someday.
