This stunning, newly renovated, fully furnished studio casita is 400 sq. feet with an open living/dining concept. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and granite counter tops. With a queen size bed and couch/day bed offers plenty of space and storage. Guests can enjoy lounging by the outdoor pool, sitting on their private patio and barbecuing their evening meal. The grounds, a half acre, are lush green and filled with coconut, mango and papaya trees. The internet in each casita is hard wired to ensure a great experience.
Located an hour from Panama City and a short 5 minutes to the magnificent Pacific Gold Coast beach, Gorgona is an ideal central location for your vacation stay. Dining out, no problem! Gorgona offers fine dining at the nearby Bahia as well as smaller restaurants enticing you with their local flavors. Nearby Coronado, another short 5 minutes away offers amenities such as a 24 hour supermarket, pharmacies, restaurants, medical clinic and a world class golf course.
Come visit us in Paradise, if only for a brief stay. Panama offers something for everyone! There is surfing, horseback riding, hiking trails, zipline tours, white water rafting tours and fishing trips nearby.

Beautiful/quiet location

This is a great property. The individual apartment was large and clean. The pool was only steps away. Many palm and other trees for shade. Well maintained grounds. Would certainly stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this property with Russ and Linda as our hosts. They originally had us in the efficiency, but kindly moved us into the casita—which was a wonderful upgrade. The casita was clean, cool, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day out.The pool was definitely a highlight—refreshing, spotless, and perfect for unwinding. The patio area around it was just as nice, giving us plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. We also appreciated that the hosts recycle, something you don’t always see in rentals here.Russ and Linda were extremely helpful throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. We also had some furry visitors who made our time even more special: Emma, the sweetest kitty who quickly stole our hearts (we should have cat-napped her!), as well as the owners’ cats Cheeto and Dorito who added extra charm.Overall, this was a great experience. The casita, the pool, and the warm hospitality made our trip really memorable. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

A Great Little Hideaway in Paradise

Stayed at Linda and Russ' place February and March 2018. What a great spot! The place is exactly as shown in the pictures and the pool is always sparkling clean and crystal clear. Russ spends his days continuously making improvements to the place and taking care to make sure his guests are happy whilst Linda looks after the necessities and conveniences on hand in all the casitas (there are only three) . They are great hosts and very knowledgeable about all the things to do in the area and how to get to them either by car or by the amazing bus system. They can help with airport transfers as well as car rentals. Its located close to local markets that serve everything you need within a short walk and its a short bus ride to Coronado where you can buy anything and everything you can at home that costs 30 cents and a cab ride back with your groceries is less then five bucks. Cabs are always by the grocery store in Coronado and busses up the main highway are minutes apart. Well done Russ and Linda. We loved our stay at Paradise in Panama and are looking forward to a repeat visit sometime soon. Beach in Nueva Gorgona is once again a short 30 cent bus ride or a good hike but is well worth the trip. Just get on the bus and say BUENES and wait for the welcome response from your fellow riders. Once at the playa, you can sit at the local beach bars by the fish market and drink cold drinks and eat the catch of the morning (not the day but the morning). Freshness and Panama culture abound. Walk along the deserted beach to a Tikki bar were you will meet an abundance of ex pats who love to chat. Or back up into the town for a snack and drink at La Rouina. A restaurant owned and operated by a lad from Atlantic City and his Panamanian wife who can tell you some great stories about the origins of the town. I could go on and on. But if your looking to experience Panama in it true beauty and experience much of what this great country has to offer then a great place to start is with Russ and Linda at Paradise in Panama. Enjoy! Paradise in Panama

You don't want to miss an opportunity to indulge your senses at this picture perfect property. The grounds and the interior of the casita were immaculate. The host and hostess go out of their way to treat you like a friend, and not simply a guest. I really liked the fact that the location felt like a quiet hideaway yet close to all sorts of sights and shopping. You will definitely enjoy your stay with the Hunts. Highly recommend.

Linda and Russ were fabulous hosts! Everything is as pictured and described....no blade of grass out of place and the Casitas are very tastefully decorated, equipped and SPOTLESS!! We have booked to return. Neighbourhood was very safe as well!!

An Absolute Paradise In Panama

This property is exactly as listed, the studio is immaculate with all the accessories needed, the pool is sparkling and the grounds are beautiful and clean, Russ and Linda are the most welcoming and helpful hosts we have experienced in many years of renting vrbo’s in many different areas, it is easy and costs very little to access the many beaches, restaurants and grocery stores of Gorgona and Coronado with the local busses and taxis, as well as small towns further down the coast, we can not wait to return to this property next January

A true paradise in panama!

I want to start by saying that Russ and Linda were wonderful. They felt like friends that I haven’t seen for some time (no, I have never met them before.) Both were so down to earth, helpful in all ways and very accommodating as my flight was leaving late in the day and they allowed my daughter and I to stay. The grounds were perfectly kept. The pool and area around it was super clean. My 11 year old daughter loved it! The casita was immaculate. I mean, spotless! It was perfect for me and my daughter. The kitchen had all that was needed. The bed was so comfortable especially after a long day of being out and about. Beaches were close and awesome! We both felt very safe here and at home. We will definitely be back and I can’t wait!

Our New Favorite Vacation Destination!

I know - the pictures look too good to be true - how can a pool be so perfect unless it's brand new - but the accommodations, pool, and grounds are even more immaculate and inviting in person than in these pictures! Everything written in the description is more than true!! Russ and Linda have created the perfect environment to relax and enjoy yourself. The studio is incredibly comfortable with a thoughtfully setup kitchen, perfectly clean and beautiful bathroom, a mattress I could sleep on the rest of my life, nice grill, and a gorgeous view of the pool. We opted to chill on the property all but one day of our week vacation, but there is plenty to do with great shopping/restaurants/beach nearby. Russ and Linda are very friendly and helpful. Yes, the WiFi is excellent too! We streamed several movies with no trouble at all. :) This is a wonderful gem to find, it would be great alone, as a couple, a family or several families! I wish we could have honeymooned here.... We'll be back again and again! Thanks, Russ and Linda!

Lovely clean, attractive, safe enclave in a small Panamanian fishing village near the beach!

This is a wonderful, central place to use as a base to explore Panama. The accommodations are wonderful and clean with everything you need. The pool area is heavenly. Nuevo Gorgona is the first Pacific beach area out of Panama City. It is also close to El Valle, Altos Del Maria, and a cheap bus ride into Albrook Mall in Panama City. You are 5 minutes by car from all the shopping and groceries you need in Coronado as well as nice restaurants. You can feel safe in a gated enclave including parking. Linda and Russ are the perfect hosts, who speak English, and give great attention to detail and client satisfaction. This is a lovely, very affordable accommodation close to the beach and to the mountains. - Jayne, John, Sarah & Teri

Nearly an acre, this property was the perfect choice for building a couple of casitas. They have been strategically positioned on the property to allow our guests privacy and the centrally located pool is a great area to socialize with the other guest, if you so choose.
