Fully updated historic beach cottage with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Brand New Mattresses. Replaced 5/1/2018. A big screen TV, a sunken master bedroom, and a fully renovated kitchen provide the perfect amount of modernity to the bungalow. The home is 0.1 miles from King and Prince beach. Near shopping and many of the island's best restaurants. This home is perfect for families or a romantic getaway. The large backyard provides space for games and cookouts. This is the perfect historic beach house to bring back those childhood trips to the beach.

Includes Wireless Internet and YouTube TV! The back yard is fully fenced.

Every one of our properties is furnished with a “starter kit” of supplies so that you don't have to run to the store at the start of your vacation.

To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.

Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, and all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Pet Policy: Properties designated as pet-friendly require a $99 non-refundable pet fee. Only dogs are accepted. Cats are not allowed. Emmons Realty accepts a maximum of 2 dogs, with a maximum weight of 65lbs per dog. Dogs must be at least 1 year old. We cannot allow pit bulls. No exceptions will be made for any part of this policy. Please pick up after your pet, the deposit does not pay for our housekeepers to clean up the yard.

Good Vacation Rental with Dog!

Although this is an older beach house, it was immaculately clean and all necessities were provided. It’s a short walk to the beach, and we liked the fenced in yard for our dog. St Simons cute house

The house is cute, in a nice locality but the walk to the ocean takes 15 minutes. And the house Checkin and checkout process is a breeze. However the bathrooms on this house definitely needs some TLC. Overall our stay was a pleasant experience.

Beautiful beach cottage!

The cottage was wonderful! The house was beautiful and one of the cleanest pet friendly places we have stayed. The yard was great for our pets. The patio was shaded by a huge oak tee which made outside dining great. We will definitely rent the cottage again.

First trip to SSI

We had the best week! SSI was a wonderful surprise to us. The house was perfect with a great location! The walk to the beach was easy and enjoyable under all the shade trees. The house was spotless and well equipped. We had no need to reach out to the host because everything was provided. We will be coming back!

Comfortable house; great location

Our family spent a few nights here before Christmas. It was a great little getaway - despite the cold, rainy weather. Restaurants were delicious and not crowded. Dogs loved romping on the beach. The house was cozy, comfortable, and well equipped. We would like to go back. Thanks!

Wanted to stay longer.

The house was charming and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location was convenient. Easy to walk to see the sunrises and sunsets from the beach. Nice walk to the village. The only negative thing I can say is that the master bathroom shower head needs some major attention. I would stay here again.

Ocean Cottage

Pretty great!

The layout and provided amentities were almost perfect. Here’s the breakdown. Pros: Located just a very short walk from Access 19. Walkable but we rented a golf-cart. Right in the middle between Pier Village and Crabdaddy area. House was “homey” and not fancy but is our preference. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of blankets, beds acceptably comfortable, lots of hot water, hand soap/shampoo/conditioner, dish/laundry soap provided. Hoses on front and back to spray yourself and beach stuff off. Quiet back yard and a cute front door seat to relax outside. Beach towels were provided and more than enough bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for 4 people. Bedrooms were a great size and all bathrooms were en-suite and two had tubs. Well lit inside and out and secure entry on both doors. Not having to keep up with a key was fab! Family room was comfy and the dining room was a great size to gather around for a game of cards. Cons: For us? None. However, some may want something fancier- I love a few of those people ;) - but we didn’t mind the little quirks like the little step ups to the kitchen and master and waking through the master to get to the back door or the worn countertops. Management company was easy to work with and quick to respond when we arrived in town when I requested an earlier check in and when I was contemplating adding a day to our trip. No complaints and would gladly navigate myself back to this dot on the map.

Family vacation over New Year

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was a great house for our family of 6 and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs. It’s a short walk to the beach and a slightly longer walk to the pier area, which has shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet and not a lot of traffic. It made for a lot of pleasant walks with the dogs. House was clean, everything worked as stated. Rental company was easy to work with when we needed to extend the stay for a few days due to poor weather and road conditions on the way home.
