The house has 3 Bedrooms, Master bedroom has a king size bed, guest room has a king size bed and the 2nd guest room has 2 twins. There is a pullout couch on the lower level as well as a full bath. The house sleeps 8 plus. Large eat-in kitchen, seating for 10. Great room with sectional, wet bar and wine fridge and gas fireplace. Open finished lower level with 9ft ceilings, pullout coach, wood stove with walk out access to new 7 person Hot Tub and back yard. Satellite tv, wifi, land line, Foosball table, 2 car garage. Large Deck, and patio. Plenty of land to create your own X-country ski course.

We had an amazing stay at this house. It’s beautiful, cozy, and surprisingly spacious — it easily fit three couples without ever feeling crowded. The house is very warm and welcoming, and you can tell a lot of thought went into it. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed, which made the stay really easy and comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay for our ski trip to the Stowe resort, and it was so nice to come back to such a comfortable space after a day on the slopes. We truly enjoyed our time here and are already talking about booking this place again next season. Highly recommend.

Stowe Family Trip

We’ve stayed here a few years in a row. It’s clean and large enough for 2 families to spread out. Close enough to get to Stowe to ski. The hot tub is great as well.

Skiing trip

The house was perfect for our stay. We skied for two days and were able to come back and relax afterwards. Plenty of room and beautiful views.

Great spot

Loved this house! It is massive with plenty of comfy beds. Tons of land, great hot tub with a view and a cozy fireplace. Perfect for a friend ski getaway and close to town

An Amazing Get-Away!

This was our second year visiting this property and it was just as wonderful as last time! The combination of location, spaciousness, amenities, well stocked kitchen (pots/pans/dishes/etc), cleanliness, and hot tub make this one of the best vacation spots I've ever visited. Thank you to the host for making it such a great place to stay!

Family Snowboarding Weekend

Our family of four plus grandparents enjoyed our long weekend getaway. The hot tub was great after a long day on the mountain, the kitchen was well-stocked and the beds comfortable. Only one bathroom on the main floor, but otherwise plenty of space.

Lots of room for our family to gather & spread out when needed. Super comfy. The hot tub was perfect for at the end of the day of skiing. Close to skiing, shops & restaurants

Excellent property

We had a great ski weekend staying here. Everyone was shocked when they walked in how large the space is. The pictures do not do Justice to how large the kitchen and living room and basement are. A pleasant surprise. Also the toilet paper folded into a triangle was a nice touch. All in all and excellent stay. Would recommend to any group staying around Stowe.

It was better than the pictures!Everything was SOOO clean and comfortable it was just perfect and decorated so nicely, beds were comfortable... basement is HUGE, the hot tub the icing on the cake.Perfect location to get to Stowe and Waterbury.... local grocery store just 10 minutes away.If you cook and there is ANY smoke ( we were pan searing steak) open the windows and use the ceiling fan!... we became well acquainted with the fire alarm but the manager was SUPER fast to respond to help us turn things off. Only thing that I personally didn't care for was the check in and out style... you pick up keys and return them 16 minutes away . Not a big deal at all except when your tired from driving, your gps signal flops for the next stop and there is an infant screaming in the car. Thats the ONLY down side we had for our stay.I would love to come back and stay again some day!

Awesome property!

We had a great time staying at this place. The main floor was very spacious. The bed sizes worked out perfectly for us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The basement was a bonus with the foosball table and some throwback video games. And best of all was the hot tub, located outside of the basement door with towels standing by. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The host communicated very well, and we would definitely stay again. The only thing that I would suggest is changing one or two of the door locks to an electronic combination lock because the key pick up and drop off location is 15 minutes away.

ski week

This property is close to Shopping and restaurants in Stowe, but as the listing advertises a 20 drive to Stowe mountain. It would be more convenient to have a key lockbox on the premises, rather than driving to a key pickup location. The kitchen lacked a few essentials for eating in. The hot tub was not serviced and the entrance was not cleared before we arrived. Bummers, but not deal breakers. The driveway did get plowed while we were. there and the caretakers were attentive to our requests.

Spacious & clean house in a great location!

My family really enjoyed our stay here! It was extremely spacious with plenty of sleeping areas, even for larger parties. Most of the beds are on the main floor, but there was a futon & pullout in the finished basement room, allowing people to spread out more if desired. We initially ran into issues with the wifi not working, but the property manager was very responsive and walked me through how to access & reset the router/modem, which worked perfectly after that. He was also able to get someone out to balance the chemicals in the hot tub (on a Sunday even!) so we could take advantage of that extra perk as well. There's a great deck off the back of the house, which is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a meal in, all the while getting to enjoy the beautiful mountain views around you! It's also a perfect stargazing location. In all, we were extremely happy with this rental and look forward to coming back again in the future!

Ski Vacation

Great location with a lot of privacy. We like to cook a lot and appreciated how well stocked this kitchen is. We travelled with several teenagers and only having 2 bathrooms was a little bit of a challenge, but overall the house worked out great for our group. There is a lot of space in the kitchen/dining area and the living area was very comfortable for our 8 person group. The kids hung out in the basement area most of the time - which the adults loved. The basement is very spacious, had its own bathroom and the temperature was very comfortable.The house location is close to town and only took about 20 minutes to drive to Stowe Ski Resort. Even with the inclement weather, it was a pretty easy drive. Since we were on a ski vacation, a downside to the house was that it didn't really have a good storage area for ski gear. There is a vestibule area between the living room and the kitchen, but it would have been more convenient to have an area by the garage or main entryway. We kept our skis in the garage, but kept our boots and clothes in the vestibule area.All in all, we liked the property and would stay there again.

Ski weekend

Great overall experience! The house was spacious enough for 2 families of 4 with 4 children under 9. Very clean, well appointed with everything you could need. The 2nd bathroom is in the finished basement which was a bit inconvenient but not terrible. Main living area and dining could easily accommodate all. The basement was finished and the hot tub was fun! The check in process a bit of a drag as you have to drive to a separate location for key pick up and drop off. A lock box would be much easier. It isn't in a neighborhood but set back off a main road with some pretty nice views of distant mountains. Stowe and Smuggler's notch within a 30 minute drive so doable. Dunkin' Donuts, Shaws, gas station all very close. We are wondering if there are cats in the home at some point as my husband, who is very allergic, had some allergy symptoms start up but nothing major. Overall- great trip and successful weekend! Thanks so much!

Wonderful House but missed the mark on some spots

The check in process requires you to stop at a separate location 10 minutes from the property to pick up the keys. The host provided a gift bag with the keys which is a very nice gesture. The house sits on a very large piece of land, and it provides beautiful quiet scenery with comforting views all around. The interior offers plenty of space and was clean. We loved the large kitchen and dining area, cozy fireplace, and the hot tub is perfect after a long day of skiing at nearby Stowe resort. Also, the linens and pillows were very comfortable. We did unfortunately have issues communicating with the host. The previous guests left their trash and recycling in the garage and the host said a maintenance man would come to collect it, but he never showed. We also asked about the Wi-Fi because it kept cutting out, and the host pushed off the question and told me to contact the maintenance man. The final issue was that the host does communicate that the visitors are responsible for taking all of their trash/recycling to a location in town at the end of your stay, but failed to mention that there is a cost to do so. We were charged a cleaning fee, but then also must transport and pay to remove the trash/recycling. Overall, we had a great stay and a great time at Stowe.

Overall, mostly great things to say about this property, especially the value for the money, the size, and the proximity to multiple towns and ski areas. The hot tub was actually hot and very delightful. I love that they had extra towels for hot tub users. I’ll highlight a few unexpected downsides. We did find a dead bird in the fireplace and mouse poop in the basement bathroom, which made sense considering there were sticky mouse trap pads all over the basement. We also booked this place because someone in our party is severely allergic to dogs. The listing indicates that it is not pet-friendly, therefore we believed it to be pet-free. We were very surprised to see dog related items at the home, which did cause allergies. Just something to be aware of if you have allergies. Secondly, for full transparency, there was a child in our group who did draw on a few spots on the wall. We were absolutely willing to pay to fix this. The issue arose with the property manager/ coordinator, Elaine, trying to get us to agree to pay for the damages outside of the VRBO platform. Communication with her was very difficult and we had to push for her to provide a repair quote within the VRBO timeline. She was very condescending while we were attempting to make things right. It turns out Elaine isn’t even the property manager, and she is more of a guest experience coordinator. In brief, this may not be the most child-friendly property, even though it says that they allow children.

Amazing Place To Enjoy Stowe Area!

Such a wonderful home & property! We had such a amazing time cooking and hanging out in the spacious kitchen and living rooms & really enjoyed taking a dip in the hot tub at the end of the day! We are already planning a return for next year, thank you!

Ski Weekend

My friends and I stayed here for our ski weekend at Stowe/Smuggler's Notch. The location is great for access to both mountains (about 20-30 minutes away from each one). Everything was as advertised and the place is huge. I would definitely recommend staying here for a ski trip.

Best Ski Getaway

This was the best rental I have ever stayed in -- no contest! The photos are wonderful but the house is even better in person. It was spotlessly clean and the large, well stocked kitchen had everything we could've needed. The hot tub was great for the chilly Vermont nights and the views of the mountains in the morning were something to look forward to. Only 20 mins from Stowe Resort, 40 mins from Smugg's. We will definitely be staying here again!

I’m very picky and was happy to find the home even better than the pictures! It was clean and relaxing and the fully stocked kitchen was an unexpected and welcome surprise. We won’t hesitate to book again for our next trip to Stowe!
