It was lovely to return to Talinga with our dog. Talinga has everything you need for a comfortable short or long stay. Great view, location and walking distance to all amenities. The updated kitchen from when we stayed previously was a bonus. It was hard to leave.

Very clean and well equipped eg good range of saucepans and cooking implements, the wood fire was laid out ready to start with some extra wood outside. A pair of binoculars to use in teh loungeroom. Very close to the sculpture walk and the night penguin tour.We stayed with an adult son who could have his own bedroom and bathroom.

House sits beautifully above the Penneshaw coast line, with spectacular views across to the mainland and the incoming Sealink ferries. Strengths:- Great location - 2 minute drive to the ferries. Fully equipped Kitchen has everything you need (including a drawer full of books and games). 2 large bedrooms have very comfortable beds, (only 1 has any wardrobes.) 3rd bedroom (rumpus room) if required has 2 large single beds. Pool table in the 3rd bedroom is in good condition and has all the accessories required.Opportunities:- Sliding doors to the kitchen and main lounge need a lot of work. Lock on the kitchen sliding doors did not work, so had to be left open the whole time. Sliding door to the lounge does lock, but only from the inside.Overall, I would highly recommend this property for Kangaroo Island visitors.
