The Perch was located a stone’s throw away from Daylesford. A great tiny getaway for a weekend. Despite the rain all weekend, we managed to stay warm and cosy in accommodation.

The perch was the ideal place for a quick country getaway. Jesse is a fantastic host and super helpful. The kids got to see sheep being fed! Another highlight was having a pair of king parrots and a pair of rosellas sit just outside the cottage while we had breakfast. The kids have made great memories. Thank you!

Lovely stay

My friend and I had a very nice stay at The Perch. The place looked exactly as it did online and communication with Jesse was super easy. It was a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely be back to stay for longer next time 😊

The Perch is a quiet place to stay near Daylesford and check in / out was smooth as was communication with the host. We enjoyed the rural setting and watching the sheep graze just outside our door. Unfortunately the advertised double sofa bed is actually a small single and very uncomfortable as both a sofa and a bed. I wouldn’t recommend this property for more than two people. Replacing the sofa and ensuring clean linen was available for the sofa would make a huge difference for the comfort of a third guest.

The Perch is perfect for a short stay, clean neat and tidy. Barney the dog likes a visit. Very peaceful and quite. The fold out 2nd bed was uncomfortable though.

Perfect tiny place to get away from the world

Peaceful surroundings, close enough to town to go in a meal and a drink; far enough away to feel like you were relaxing into a peaceful place. Wonderful hosts; answered all our queries promptly.Stairs were daunting at first, but fun once we got the hang of it. Pleased we brought some extra blankets so we didn't have to run the heating all night.

Cute little stay for 2 people

This Tiny house stay is good for 2 people but definitely not suited for 3 adults, as the fold out couch is very uncomfortable to sit on, let alone sit on. Our host was friendly and helped bring us a few linen items we needed. The flooded driveway wasn’t great as my car struggled a bit to get through the water. The spare blankets on the couch and cupboard needed a wash, and the shower/sink water draining outside was overflowing out to where my car was parked. Otherwise, it’s a cute stay and well stocked with amenities.
