Do NOT stay here!!!
From the moment we arrived to a badly-neglected front yard with waist-high weeds, we started to think we had made a mistake in choosing to spend our holiday here.
The windows were very dirty and had obviously not been cleaned in a long time, and the yard had also not been maintained in ages. Upon entering the house we were greeted with filthy bed linen which had appalling stains, including a pillow and mattress protector which looked like someone with gastro had been using it.
In the kitchen every cabinet door and door handle was sticky. We found old food in the fridge, dirty dishes in the cupboard and a grease-covered roasting tray in the pantry.
The view from the rear balcony was a junk yard which is not an ideal view, but given the state of the outdoor furniture it's really not a place one would want to sit anyway.
There were numerous broken and damaged items in the house. The DVD player would not work with the projector screen - even with an IT specialist and an engineer amongst us trying to establish a connection between the two. This rendered the projector room useless.
We have travelled extensively all over the world and recently completed a trip across Australia. In all our travels, we have NEVER come across a place as badly maintained as this one. The photos on the Stayz website are very misleading. We took numerous photos of the appalling state of this house. It is a pity that we cannot post them on this review.
So do yourselves a favour. Stay well away from this place. It's just not worth it!
