We are a modern New England farmhouse style vacation home in Lake Elmore, Vermont. Designed and built as an upscale, getaway home near Stowe, Vermont. Located on 1.5 acres at the end of a private road, you'll enjoy both privacy and beauty with panoramic mountain views.

The design is an open concept with 16 foot high cathedral ceilings supported by beams of locally harvested Hemlock braced by custom fabricated iron. The gas fireplace is surrounded by ledge stone & solid bamboo floors. Walls of windows provide scenic views of Elmore Mountain and the surrounding woodland of Balsam and Birch. Our clean, non-smoking home sleeps six comfortably but is also perfect for just two. There's a cool sleeping alcove and 2 bedrooms with en suite full baths. The chef's kitchen features granite island & counter tops, new stainless steel appliances including an efficient dishwasher, a five burner gas stove with full oven & a wicked big fridge. Our home is completely furnished for your enjoyment. The idyllic village of Stowe is our adjacent neighbor & only about 14 miles away.

Vermont's Green Mountains, acres of farmed valleys, rivers & lakes, apple orchards, horse pastures, sugar houses and covered bridges take visitors back in time. Lake Elmore is considered "the Beauty Spot of Vermont". Take a leisurely 1/2 mile stroll to the lake, State Park with miles of hiking trails. Elmore boasts a 219 acre lake, mountain hiking & skiing, a Vermont state park and VAST/Catamount trails. Located close to Stowe, Smugglers Notch, historic Montpelier, Woodstock, Burlington, the North East Kingdom and all the best Vermont has to offer. Whether you are looking for adventure or a place to rest & recharge, this is it.

Our beautiful, two+ bedroom (the "+" bedroom is a unique, adult sized sleeping alcove), two full bath home is fully furnished. There is a new, full sized convertible couch, a twin bed, a full bed and a queen bed. The house can accommodate up to six guests.

We provide the little things so you don't have to. Linens, hair dryer, cooler, gas grill, snow shovel, etc. are included in your rental.

​Pack your laptop and tablet, we have a new, reliable, Xfinity fiber optic WiFi internet service with speeds of 400-500 Mbps . For your electronic charging convenience, we've installed two high speed USB wall outlets to power up your devices directly without the adapters. There are two flat screen, 1080P High Definition TVs and a Roku streaming device.

Outdoor adventures can be messy. Awesomely messy; so we've installed a highly efficient, full sized, front end loading LG washer & dryer. Go play outside.

Although we do not allow pets, Vermont is a very pet & livestock friendly place including our neighborhood. We don't allow pets to stay in our home as some of our guests may be allergic. There are pet boarding facilities in the area.
