We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harborside. The cottage was clean and comfortable and spacious for our group of four. After a busy day exploring Acadia, it was nice to come back to the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island, relax around the firepit and watch the sunset across the harbor. And Elean responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. I would highly recommend this place!

The property was beautiful; the view of the water was amazing. The house was in a great location, close enough to so many different things to do, but still far enough away that the house was incredibly peaceful. Our family really enjoyed out time there. The house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. For families with children this place is perfect. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy beautiful sunsets over looking the water.

This home was so perfect for our family . The views, access to the water the yard, the beds and bedrooms everything. The home has everything to need to cook, lobster pounds nearby to get you lobster dinner . We can’t say enough about our stay. This was an absolutely beautiful place. Off the beaten path, which was nice for calm evenings - after being in Bar Harbor during the days. We were 7 people and this place was plenty big. So clean - that really stood out to us. Highly recommend to any family heading to Bar Harbor/Acadia.

Harborside was the absolute perfect home base for our very active family! The home had every amenity possible to make our stay comfortable, and allow us to rest, recharge and start the day on the right foot every morning. Our host was incredible, communicative and accessible if we had any questions. There are many beautiful sunsets around MDI but from this dock was the absolute best we'd seen all week long. Thank you for everything! We made so many memories on our first visit to MDI and it was largely in part due to our time at Harborside. Thank you!

Excellent stay!

We could not have enjoyed our stay anymore than we did! The house was just as described, the views were beautiful! The home had everything we needed for our stay plus some. The owner was very responsive, and the location was perfect for visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor, and then returning to the peaceful side of the island.

This is a lovely property directly on the harbor. Hosts were easy to contact for any questions or needs. Beautifully decorated house with everything you need, including a grill and lobster pot, plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. Can't beat the amazing sunsets every night. On the quiet side of Acadia. 30 min drive to downtown Bar Harbor. Sea wall is 5 minutes away and many hiking trails nearby. Plenty of room for our family if 7, mostly adults and 1 teenager. Beds were super comfortable. Everything was so clean and well maintained. What a great place to have as your base when visiting Acadia.

Perfect place

My wife and l had a wonderful week here in this beautiful spot on the western side of Bass Harbor, where the sunsets are gorgeous and the kayaking couldn’t be better. Elean, the host is terrific. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.

Maine getaway

We had a great time at this property. The house was very charming and clean. The sunsets are spectacular. We enjoyed lobster twice that the owners dropped off for us. We slept in the downstairs bedroom with the king bed and it was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Its an ideal location, close to downtown Bar Harbor and several other quaint little villages.

Clean and spacious property with everything we needed to have a great week for our family of 5. Reasonable driving distance to everything. Enjoyed being able to go out at low tide and explore. Love This Harborside Location

This house sits on a fantastic location. It is far enough away from the tourist “hub-bub”, but close enough to touch everything Acadia Ntl Park and Mt Desert Island have to offer. There are peaceful sunsets, a view of the lobster boats and tide activity, and access to great food. The house is a very comfortable place to land for a week! The Host provided great info for the stay as well as things to do. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful house by the harbor

The property was as advertised. It is in a wonderful location, close to Acadia and Bar Harbor but far enough that it's fairly quiet. The house itself was in immaculate condition. It was nice to sit outside and look at fishing boats or the deer that wandered into the yard each night and morning.
