Amazing Property

I can’t say enough good things about this rental property. The views are stunning, the house is extremely well equipped and the location is fantastic. We will definitely be returning to this home again!

This place is a scam

This is not a high end rental despite what price they are asking you to pay. Landmark property management company is unprofessional and rude. They hung up on me because I asked for a supervisors info and tried to blame it on a "dropped call". Strange they never called me back after dropping the call?! We finally got hot water on day 6 or our 9 day stay. They thought $400 would compensate our party of 7 cramming into 1 bathroom for 6 days after paying thousands of thousands for a high end rental. Rude! Everything seemed to break down and go wrong at this place. It wasn't just the water heater on the left side of the house. Maintenance was there every day for 6 days fixing something. This place needs to be tested for mold due to the musty smell in basement and the massive amounts of moisture retaining cans in each room. If it could go wrong during our vacation, it went wrong. Landmark could give a rats about it too. Do not be fooled by the views of this place. It's a scam. There isn't a fireplace in the dining room either. Their listing pictures aren't accurate and are misleading.

Landmark Vacation Rentals prides ourselves on delivery of exceptional services and it seems, on this unfortunate occasion, we were unable to meet your expectations. Landmark did provide you with compensation for the hot water issues that effected the temperature of the water in two out of the four bathrooms. It was unfortunate that one of the hot water heaters failed and had to be replaced during your stay. The second maintenance issue only effected 1 of the bathrooms and was resolved within a few hours of it being reported. These were the only two maintenance items reported during your stay. Due to the area, it is common for calls to drop, however your call was followed up with right away. Since your stay there has been no report further reports of any issues with the home. In reviewing the photos of the dining room, it does show a decorative grate in front of a brick wall which can make it appear as there is a fireplace, but actually is a decorative piece. The photo has been taken removed to avoid any further confusion.

Moon Mountain

Every year we take 3 generations on a week long mountain trip. There were 11 of us and this was a great house for all. We had space for everyone to gather and enough space for everyone to spread out. The home is absolutely lovely and well stocked- but it is the view of the mountains that puts it over the top! We also enjoyed the easy access to Glenn Falls and the easy ride to Highlands. A great house for a great trip!

Awesome Home!

This is the most beautiful home we and the three couples we travel with have every stayed in in Highlands or Cashiers. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The home lacks for nothing. We will recommend it wholeheartedly.

My Birthday Gathering

This house is fabulous! Location, views, amenities, and floor plan. Everyone had privacy and we could all gather together comfortably. Can’t wait to book again.
