Exactly like the pictures. So clean and cozy. LOVED the history of the home. HUGE backyard. Everything you would need from cooking to sleeping. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would most definitely book again.
We loved our stay at this rustic place. Exactly what we were looking for!

Great Stay
Cute little cabin, we had a great time staying here. The cabin is in a great location easy access to the beach and a short 5 minute drive to the redwoods. We had a great time and will most definitely be back thank you!
Place is very dog friendly fenced in backyard was awsome to be able to throw a ball around with the dog. Beach is just a short walk away with an amazing view. Everything needed for cooking is there and if you want to eat out down town is just a few minutes away . 10 outa 10 would stay again
Nice, clean and perfect for our needs. Close to ocean and surrounding attractions. Checkout was difficult and after struggling to figure out how to contact someone to get the code to the lock box, we just manually locked the door and left the key on the table.
Had a great stay in Crescent City at this cute log cabin. It was super clean, and located just a few blocks from the ocean side. The expansive yard was great for our lab.
Horrible neighborhood with dilapidated homes across the street and next door. Front door not fully secure with damaged jam. We went inside noticed window treatments did not offer great privacy. Add all that up and we decided not to stay as we did not feel safe. We ended up booking a room in a hotel a few miles away. Don’t waste your money unless you’re comfortable in a seedy neighborhood.

Hello there, we’re sorry to hear that you didn’t feel comfortable during your stay, as guest safety and peace of mind are very important to us. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to provide some context and updates:- The neighborhood has a mix of long-standing homes, including several well-kept Airbnbs nearby. While there are two vacant properties on the street, they’ve been that way for years and are not city-condemned.- The curtains throughout the home are thick enough to provide full privacy, but we will ask the cleaning team to take updated photos to confirm this for future guests.- A previous guest had broken the door trim, which we weren't aware of until now. Repairs will be made to ensure the entry is fully secure moving forward. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective, and we’re confident that future guests will enjoy a safe and comfortable stay here.

Hi Cathy, thanks for letting us know about your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following: Regarding your mention of the seafood restaurant's availability, regrettably, this falls beyond our control. Nevertheless, we're delighted to hear you enjoyed the cabin. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Perfect vacation home
This home has every possible amenity one could need on a relaxing vacation. Comfortable bed, excellent pillows, stocked kitchen, hot shower with soft water, beyond pet friendly (there were even toys in a basket), and the location is perfect. A gorgeous ocean view is at the end of the road and a beach is within walking distance. There are plenty of grocery stores, coffee shops, and other places close by. Our host, Renee, was very communicative and quick to reply.
This property was perfect. It was such a cute cottage with a wonderful back yard. My dogs are small so one of them did slip out of the yard. We made some adjustments & it didn't happen again. We never walked to the beach but it was a short drive. I would definitely stay here again. And I'm recommending this cottage to my friends!
It's a cozy little place to stay. Plenty of blankets to cuddle up on the couch when it was too rainy to go outside. Just be aware that it's an older building. The kitchen is nice but lacks a dishwasher. There were some ants and rollie pollies in the kitchen and bedroom too.
Beach access was 5 tenths of a mile unlike 2 tenths of a mile that was advertised.

A Little Run Down
For the price paid, our first impression from the outside was not good. It is a little run down and unkept looking. The inside needs work but it was clean. The bed was good and towels and other amenities were good. The back yard was huge and fenced. We had two dogs with us and I thought this would be great, but within the first few minutes, one of them found some fresh dog poop and rolled in it. I spent the next hour getting her cleaned up and didn't trust them to be left alone for fear they might find more. This was not their poop as I watch them closely and pick up theirs as it happens. We did enjoy our time in Crescent City and surrounding area.

From the Owner: "Thank you, Don, for sharing your concerns. This home is a historic redwood log mill house, full of character and crafted from the heart of the redwood. The interior was recently updated, including a fresh coat of paint and custom kitchen cabinetry completed in April, with final finishing touches scheduled for September. We’re truly sorry your dog came across something left behind by another animal. Our cleaner does her best to thoroughly check the expansive yard, but it seems something was missed in a far corner. We’ll be sure to double down on yard inspections going forward. As this is a pet-friendly home, we do ask for a pet fee to help cover the additional cleaning and maintenance required to keep the property in top shape for all guests. We value your feedback and hope you were still able to enjoy your stay."
