Bright and open split floor plan, great room with vaulted ceilings, triple pocket sliders open to screened lanai and pool overlooking gulf access canal and boat lift. Master bedroom with king size bed and walk in closet. Opens to screened lanai and pool overlooking canal. En suite bath walk in shower and double vanity. Second bedroom with queen bed has pocket slider to screened lanai and pool. Third bedroom has twin beds. Second bathroom located between second and third bedroom has tub/shower. Large kitchen has a large walk in pantry, breakfast bar and separate dining area that opens to screened lanai and pool. Off the great room is a puzzle/card room. Inside laundry off of 2 car garage. Furnishings include linens, towels and fully equipped kitchen. Pool is solar heated. Gas grill provided on lanai. Cable and internet are included. Bicycles, beach chairs and beach towels are available. Beach, tennis courts, shopping mall and theater are close by. Pool and lawn service are provided weekly at an agreed upon time.

Even better in person

This was an amazing house to stay at for our family vacation. It slept all 7 of us perfectly, home was clean and roomy. The pool was the highlight for sure and it was nice to be able to keep our boat in the water at the house.

Clean everything worked properly very comfortable we used the dock for a 30' pontoon The kitchen was well stocked Everything was perfect!

Port Charlotte Summer

Enjoyed our stay! We brought our 24 foot center console boat and had access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf. Home is spacious and comfortable. We would certainly stay again!

Needs upgrade

That is a nice house on canal. Pool is small (on pictures looks bigger) not cleaned properly and cold. TV wasn't work good, freeze all the time. Overall, if you like the beach , this location to far from all beautiful beaches.

Perfect vacation home

The house is very big. Enough space for 6 people. Everything was very clean and all necessary household items available. Wi-Fi and TV very good. Pool with heating very well maintained. The location on a canal and the terrace to the east are ideal. The landlady Joan was always available and very helpful. One has felt that she loves her vacation homes and therefore makes and controls almost everything herself. Thank you Joan for the wonderful 7 weeks. We will be back.

Christmas on the canal

We rented Joan's home over the Christmas holiday. We drove down to Florida from Virginia and my brother and niece flew down from Michigan. Our parents live in Port Charlotte, but their home isn't big enough to host the whole family. Joan's home was the perfect size for all of us. The house was supplied with everything we needed from coffee filters to beach chairs and towels. The size of the kitchen and great room were perfect for preparing large meals and then hanging out to watch a movie or sing along with our family musicians. We all enjoyed swimming in the pool on the days we didn't go to the beach. The beds were also very comfortable. Joan was so easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout the entire rental process. We all loved this home and would definitely rent it again the next time we come down to visit our parents.
