We had the Best stay at the tiny house - it was perfect for traveling with 2 dogs and being able to come and go and get to the lake, dining and towns. We made friends at the market right at the end of the road and will certainly recommend to others traveling through!Dogs certainly had a ball!
We really enjoyed this tiny house. It had everything we needed and was a great central location for the area. The fenced yard was flat and perfect for our little dog. We will not hesitate to stay here again.
This was our first experience with this type of rental. We were extremely pleased with our cabin. It had everything we needed, and the best part was the fenced in backyard that our dog had access to run in. Our host was very easy to get ahold of with any questions, and we were in a perfect central location to all of the places we wanted to go.
We had a relaxing stay at the tiny house and really enjoyed the backyard, playing corn hole in the evenings, and even a picnic. The location was very convenient. I recommend a stop at the pottery shop just up the street. Thanks for a great stay.
Cozy little home allowed us to feel comfortable and relaxed instead of worrying about a hotel room. And the convenience of cooking our own meals was a bonus, and having our own space was great. The added games and stuff was a nice touch.
This place was everything and more than the description! The yard is much bigger than it appears, and the dogs absolutely loved it! The humans also enjoyed their stay. The house was very clean, and just enough room for 2 people (+2 small dogs). We will definitely be back!
The tiny house was great, located very close to both New River Gorge National Park and Summersville Lake, you are so close to so many fun activities, but still nestled away from the touristy areas. The house itself has many more amenities than you would expect for the square footage and is very sensibly organized. The backyard is fantastic, our dog loved running around the fenced in backyard.
Very cozy place, we hope to come back soon!
I loved the space as a home base for exploring New River Gorge and the surrounding area. The backyard was great for my dog and I had everything I needed. However, the tiny house sits right on a corner of two busy roads and cars going by at all hours made it tough to relax and woke me up frequently at night.
Had a great time at MT Lookout! We visited Cathedral Falls and Hawks Nest State Park while we were there. The Tiny House was perfect for the couple of days we stayed. Pepper our dog loved the yard! The house was very clean and roomy for the size. The place was very comfortable and relaxing and close to our activities. Thank You Again! Rob, Meg, Joe and Pepper
We had a wonderful stay in the tiny home. It is conveniently located to everything we wanted to do- Summersville Lake, Oak Hill, trails, Hawk's Nest, NRG. Kelly was super hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed including cots, firewood, and outdoor games. She was easily reached by text- however we had no issues that we needed assistance with.
The inside is bigger than the outside appears. Great for a place to sleep, shower, and relax after a day of outdoorsing!

“Almost Heaven”
My husband and I have been vacationing in West Virginia for the past 5 years and out of these past 5 years this Tiny Home definitely made us feel like we were at home. Trust me we’ve had a few places we stayed at that I had night terrors from. Kelly was a great host and definitely made us feel welcomed. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We had such a great time that we dreaded going home. Definitely will be going after our dream and get a tiny home when my husband retires.

Cozy little cabin
This cabin was just what I needed to relax. Everything you need at your fingertips. The fenced yard is fantastic for your pets. I had a bad experience elsewhere so this was a pleasant surprise and the way it should be. My dog, Josie and I sat outside several nights watching the deer play in the neighbors yard. The sky views are to die for. Cabin is located near the Gauley River Bridge and Summersville Lake. Will definitely return.
Traveled with my dog and this was the perfect little getaway. She (and I) loved the fenced in yard and the overall size of the yard for my large dog. The only reason I took off a star for accuracy of online listing is because there was no WiFi and that was listed as an amenity. Great location, and close to the New River Gorge National Park! Loved the fire place, warmed up the room very well. Also, I really liked that once inside the fenced in area, the outside screen door could be locked from the inside. Gave me comfort that my dog couldn’t just push it open easily.
This tiny cabin was just as advertised. Small space, but set up to use every bit efficiently. The bed was comfortable, but did require a step stool for my vertically challenged size. My son enjoyed the cot. The propane fireplace kept the cabin cozy and warm. The backyard was the highlight, especially for our Golden Retriever. The secure, fenced in space was large enough for him to run a bit and the bird feeders were entertaining to watch. I appreciated that the door to the house was positioned inside a covered porch with a locking screen door. This added security to prevent our dog from getting loose. A lovely cabin!
Loved it! This place was cozy and clean. It was perfect for our visit to the New River Gorge which was only a short drive away. There was a toasty little fireplace to warm the space which was really nicely decorated and a good use of the space.
The backyard was spacious and had sitting areas with a pass through covered/locking screened porch in the front leading you there.
The bonfire pit was a perfect touch and kept us nice and warm. It was entirely fenced in too, so our two pups LOVED it and wrestled out there all evening with us by the fire.
Kelly is an awesome host who made herself known by text ahead of time and before check out to make sure we were all set and taken care of. My husband and I actually locked ourselves out of the key lock door by hitting a “disable” switch by mistake, and she was really quick to answer us with the passcode to a lockbox with the spare door key in it just in case. That was really thoughtful!
We will definitely be back here next time we are heading to the NRG to explore. :)
