Bedrooms 2 and 3 are huge upstairs bedrooms with lake view, skylights, queen bed, second bed, couch, small table and chair, and private balcony. Bedroom 4 is small upstairs bedroom with two twin beds, low ceilings, and the only bedroom dark in the morning (no lake view so limited sunlight).

Drive 10 minutes to public sandy beaches. Close to Les Cheneaux Islands, a kayaker's paradise. 45 minutes to Mackinaw Bridge. 20 minutes to Drummond Island ferry. Groceries are 15 minutes away in Cedarville.
ABSOLUTELY NO fires, firearms or fireworks allowed. This is a log home in the woods, fire department is at least 30 minutes out, we just can't take the risk inside or outside the house.
For us, it is a slice of heaven and we love to share it with others. But we want to make sure you will love it too. Here are some things about this house that are not for everyone: --There are no curtains except in the bathrooms, so light comes in in the mornings and you may feel a lack of privacy (though no one is around). --Like any house in the woods, you might see bugs or mice. --Cell coverage will be less than 100%. US Cellular, T-Mobile, and Verizon generally work but AT&T has almost no signal. --There is little sound privacy between the floors of the house. Bedroom 3 is above bedroom 1 so they can hear each other. Bedroom 2 is above the kitchen so they can hear each other too. --Although there is a gorgeous fireplace, it is not functional and fires are strictly forbidden (both inside and outside).
Gravel road to access, requires 4 wheel drive in winter.

This properly was everything you could hope for. It was beautiful, private and peaceful. Although we stayed just the two of us for a quiet baby moon, it was huge with plenty of room for many. It had everything we needed for our stay. We loved sleeping with the windows cracked to hear the water on shore and even woke up to a few deer in the yard one morning. Very happy with our booking here!
From the moment we walked through the doors, it instantly felt like home. The spectacular views of Lake Huron and the house's peaceful energy provided so much comfort during a deeply emotional weekend. Our family gathered here to officially rest my parents at sea. Having such a welcoming, warm space to return to with my husband, my daughter, my sister, and our family meant the world to us. TIt was the absolute perfect setting for us to honor their memory and be together.Emily responded immediately to our communication and requests. She was the perfect host.
The property is secluded and quiet. The log cabin is beautiful. It is loaded with anything and everything. Communication was quick and Al questions answered. I would spend a week here with my family agin. It was truly amazing.
The setting and views from the property were stunning. The space was good but the beds were not the most comfortable. The fridge and freezer were half full of food when we arrived. Not sure if it belonged to the owners or a previous guest but it definitely reduced our storage space! House had an underlying smell of cat. On a positive note there were plenty of towels and space for our group.
We adored our stay at this wonderful home. It was spacious, clean, inviting, and relaxing. We loved sitting on the screened in porch talking, drinking coffee, and listening to the lake! We really enjoyed exploring the area and traveling to Mackinac Island. It was an excellent stay!
The cabin was beautiful and had a ton of space for family to spread out! Views were great and the host was fantastic to communicate with. Stocked with everything you need to cook, games, and toys for the little ones. The lake front view was beautiful. Would recommend to anyone.
Cabin was beautiful inside and out! The inside is spacious and full of up north charm! The views from the cabin were absolutely stunning! Emily the host was quick to answer and very kind. Would love to come back!
This was our 4th annual girls trip where we seek new and adventurous experiences to create memories with our friends. Les Cheneaux Island did not disappoint! We spend time touring the islands by potion with a fabulous guide and kayaked to Government Island
Amazing property on the lake. Tons of room inside to have your own private space. Some toys for the little kids and games for the family. The cleaners had a misunderstanding and had not finished everything up before we got there but after a quick call to the home owner the cleaners where on there way and the home owner went out of there way to make it right with us!
Beautiful! Relaxing! Rejuvenating! This cabin and area are fantastic if you are looking for beautiful surroundings and fresh air! We spent our days swimming, hiking, boating, sipping coffee on shore, etc.. if that's your thing, this place is it. Note: the listing said it sleeps 26, this is a typo. Thankfully it didn't effect our stay as we didn't need that many beds.
Our stay at this cabin was wonderful. I've been coming to this area my whole life, and this was one of the best trips. Emily is a great communicator, the cabin was super clean with great amenities. The location is beautifully located in the middle of the woods, nothing but peaceful views of Lake Huron, surrounding islands, amazing sunsets and sunrises. Would give a 10/5 rating if it were allowed!
This house is simple but elegant. It's a custom log home with over-sized everything. Huge bedrooms. Huge kitchen. Huge dining table. Huge sunsets. This is a perfect place to escape to a place where no one will bother you. Secluded and cozy. Can't wait to stay again! Wow! Host is friendly and easy to reach.
Our family vacation to Cedarviille, Michigan was amazing. The house is beautiful and set on the picturesque shore of Lake Huron. Everyone enjoyed walking on the rocks, canoeing, watching the loons, deer and hummingbirds. This home has large bedrooms, is very clean, and has a great space for the entire family to spend time around the dining room table. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the household items you need. Our family loved sitting on the screened-in porch making treasured memories. We will definitely be coming back.
We had such a fabulous time at this beautiful log home getaway, breathtaking views of Lake Huron from inside and so comfortable sitting outside in Adirondack chairs drinking coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening. It felt so spacious for our family of 16 to stay comfortably with adequate sleep accommodations for all of us. The kitchen is so big, easy to cook w/many people involved and all the cooking supplies/plates/utensils needed! The big dining table could seat us all and was wonderful to gather their for family meals. Like new big washer and dryer, lots of board games, plenty of blankets, linens, towels/beach towels and pillows; everything was thought of: binoculars for viewing wildlife, flashlights for any walking outside at night and also 2 headlamps by the front door, some lawn chairs. We were able to use the charcoal grill for local fish and other meats. There is a lovely sprawling sandy beach about 10 min east of home, with nice sand floor on lake stretching out far, only waist deep for a long walk. Town is about 20 min west, with good grocery store, pharmacy, bakery & cafe and pizza restaurant we enjoyed. My kids and grandkids will cherish the memories we made here and hope to return again!
