I would like to send a message to our host:Just to thank him for the happy memories. We such a good time with our family stayin at the farm. It was very comfortable and everything worked well. We were able to cook the desserts for our Thanksgiving dinner that we celebrated in the house of one of our daughters nearby. Thank you so much for the appe pie you left as a welcome gift, it was a big success. We wish you and your family Happy Holidays!
Loved the historic house & buildings. There were 7 of us. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the mattresses and the water pressure. Having 2 hot water heaters, one for each shower, was a big plus. The location was private yet still surrounded by nearby homes so it felt safe. We will return as a group and some of us with our family’s too.

The house and property are picturesque and cozy. Lam was a fantastic host. We had a power outage due to weather and Elam was great at communicating about restoration times.
We had such a great family weekend in this beautiful well- maintained, stocked home. All as advertised. Terrific host. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets. Private, quiet. Very nice bucolic setting. Fun little hot tub. Two kitchens. Comfortable beds. 8 minutes from Hibernia Park. Will come back again and again.

Great stay
Beautiful and spacious property. Home was clean and Elam was even kind enough to leave delicious cookies for our boys who were in PA for a hockey tournament.
We stayed for a long weekend during my sons wedding in West Chester. The farmhouse was perfect, tons of room for multiple generations and family members. The 2 kitchens were great. We also enjoyed to outdoor aspects of the property, the neighborhood was wonderful but you still felt like you were in the country sitting on the patio or even the front porch. Definitely recommend
We have a large family- nine kids and eight grandkids. This was a perfect place for us to all be in the same house. We also had some other family members that stayed nearby at the camp site and another VRBO. The property gave us space and privacy to enjoy our time with family. We also found that there are plenty of stores nearby to get what we needed.

Family Christmas
Our family gathered in Coatesville for Christmas and stayed here. The home was clean and spacious for the 9 of us to sleep. The hosts were attentive when we had questions. We will definitely come back to stay again.

Nice house with lots of space
We had a great time here for a family get together with lots of space and a comfortable stay. This looks like a recently updated old home with a few quirks but other than that it was a nice stay.
The place was clean and comfortable. The dining space is tight (as you can see in the photos), but they made the best of it. Plenty of space for all 14 of us to spread out, and the kids definitely enjoyed the large yard, though adult supervision is absolutely required for exploring the outbuildings.

Perfect family stay
We stayed for an extended weekend during my son's wedding in West Chester. The house was perfect for 3 generations to relax & spend time together between big events. We had plenty of space, the 2 kitchens & 2 fridges were great. The historic features of the home only enhanced the experience. The property grounds are super spacious ( we sat on the back patio Sunday night & could not see or hear a neighbor) and the neighborhood is quiet & upscale. The house itself was very clean & coordination with property management was seamless. I would highly recommend .
The house & property were great, we really enjoyed our stay. The reason I deducted 1- is some items in the home need upgraded. The flooring in the one kitchen/dining area needs fixed, in places it is a trip hazzard. More silverware & plates are needed. New frying pans, when the coating starts scratching off they need replaced. I wish the showers had at least 1 grab bar for safety reasons. All in all I would stay there again.
6 of us are family and 2 are friends, weget together every month for dinner or a show and go away once a year for a 4 day weekend. We had the best time in your home, everyone had their own rooms, loved the two kitchens. The house and location was perfect. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Nice place to stay, some downfalls
The house was nice and big for our family. We did have some issues with the heat and with the owners friend staying on the same property in a camper. But the owner was nice and overall we had a nice stay.
My family gathered from across the country to celebrate my dad's 100th birthday. We needed beds and space. This house provided both. The house is set up as two separate rental units but we used the whole house. It was clean and provided what we needed. We would rent it again if the need arises.
Seniors, adults, grandchildren. Relatives of the bride from Oregon, Arizona and Chicago area as well as Delaware and Maryland. Great place for us to socialize and participate in the wedding and reception. Also for seeing and socializing with each other. Many of us are seniors (over 70) and found the stairs a little challenging but adapted easily. Everyone commented on the comfortable beds.A great time was had by all.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property for our son's wedding in HoneyBrook. This home is decorated lovely, spacious and comfortable. We loved the secluded location, enjoyed seeing wildlife (birds, deer, a fox, groundhogs), and hearing the birds every morning. The location was very convenient for our needs.
Comfortable beds with linens provided, well stocked kitchen, and clean! Amazing porch! Made some wonderful family memories here! Thank you!
Pros - beautiful farmhouse with history that accommodated a large group of family for a wonderful Easter gathering. Very clean and ample room. Easy to get in and out. Much parking. Beautiful piece of land and very private.
Cons- not enough room to deposit trash after a short weekend. Not enough towels. Trailer in the back with people inside during our stay.
Would highly recommend overall.
We had a great time in this lovely house. The two kitchens for our large group worked out well. The teenagers choose the joined attic rooms (two sisters). Because of the difference in the age groups, the second tv came in handy. I thick the septic field needed to be pumped, but that was our only complaint. We loved the breakfast bar. Everyone sang Jim Croce songs during our stay.
Hot Loft, Inaccurate Listing, and Poor Maintenance
We rented this property for the 4th of July weekend with friends and family for two nights. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The 10:00 AM check-out time was unusually early, and the long list of check-out tasks made it nearly impossible to comply without booking an extra night. The listing claimed 7 bedrooms, but two were in a loft—only one had a door, and the other was just an open living area with a bed. That loft space was hot and unlivable. The host admitted the HVAC system couldn’t cool the third floor. He was reluctant to provide AC units, and only after involving the rental manager did he agree to install one—in just one of the two rooms. The listing also inaccurately stated there were three full bathrooms, when in fact there were only two full and two half baths. The grill was a flat-top griddle, not a standard grill, which wasn’t mentioned. The house, built in 1900, felt very dated and poorly maintained. Parts of the wooden floor were broken or missing—unsafe for kids. The kitchen was minimally stocked, with old, worn-out utensils and cookware. Overall, I would not recommend this property.
We decided to book this property because of how pretty it is and the history of it. We came here to tour the Pennhurst Asylum. The property was so cool, that we wanted to book in it , even though the asylum is 40 mins away. There was enough room for all of us comfortably and the house was clean. We had fun exploring the house and yard. The house was beautiful. If you love old houses, this place is for you. There was however a man staying in a camper on the property that we were not made aware of . He kept to himself and it was fine, but it’s just something we probably should have known ahead of time , so we would not have been alarmed. The camera is mentioned in the listing and states that it covers the walkway and door. It does cover the walk way and door . It is farther away on a tree so it would be able to see most the front porch area , including hot tub. I’m sure it’s just for safety and to make sure no one is damaging anything though . But just thought I would mention it so people knew ahead of time . That being said, we had a great time and would definitely come back! It was the perfect addition to our haunted history trip. If you are into a spooky fun stay, then you should come here .
