The owners of this totally refreshed, cozy cottage (occupancy is 2) have decorated it with an arts and crafts style, not missing one detail. From sitting out on the front porch to preparing your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen, you will enjoy the comfortable ambiance of this cottage. It is just perfect for a caring couple to relax and enjoy after experiencing all there is to do on the island. Also take the time to look at the owners’ plein air art collection of island scenes located throughout the home. FYI, guests will enter through the first entrance (three steps) on the left side of the cottage. This home offers Heat, A/C, and an Electric Fireplace. There is a small owner’s apartment on the second floor toward the back of the cottage. 329CA | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited).

We enjoyed the quaint cottage very much. It was a perfect space for the two of us and it was walking distance to everything! We enjoyed the island and did a lot of fishing. We will stay at the cottage next time we visit.

Very cute cottage

Lovely place, very nice kitchen and I loved the tile in the bathroon shower. The front porch was relaxing.

Great bungalow with a cool family history. We enjoyed just hanging out on the swing on the porch. Walking distance to everything with a grocery store a block away.

Amazing In Avalon

My wife and I have been coming to Catalina for years, and were even married there back in 2011. This cottage was, by far, the best place we've ever stayed on the island. It has everything you could possibly want, including an impressive art collection of the island, and a relaxing porch to swing away the days on. Everything is dialed in, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Only wish it had room for our next visit with the kids!

Wonderful Avalon

This is a GR8 little house for 2 people. WAY better than any hotel for the same price. TOTALLY remodeled throughout. Spacious, comfortable, clean. Everything you need. Only drawback was "double" bed (?) a little small for 2 large adults. Otherwise great location and everything. We will be back

Cute and comfortable!

This was a great location! Loved the porch and so glad it had A/C, as we stayed during one of hottest times in Avalon. Very clean and updated kitchen and bath. Would love to rent again.

Very charming and quiet

Neat historical home - hope they never change the front room, which is extremely charming and has a lot of character. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and are very comfortable and modern. Also really loved the family photos sharing the history of the place since it was built in 1904. We will definitely be back.

Great location, very clean and well equipped, great porch swing for quiet evenings.

Great small home for a couple to rent...honeymoon? House was very clean, reasonably priced and sufficiently close (3 blocks) from the main promenade to facilitate effortless walking to all the action, yet far enough away to be removed from the crowd noises (with the exception of golf carts whizzing by quite frequently.). The house accommodates 2 and there is indeed no room for more, but it is adequately sized for a couple with the living room, bedroom, bath with large shower, and well stocked medium sized kitchen. The porch ended up being one of our favorite things with a porch swing for two to enjoy a morning coffee or a late night libation. To note in August the porch received some morning sunshine which slightly heated up the temperature, but in the evening it was in the shade which was complemented by the slight ocean breeze coming up the street. I highly recommend this house for any couple wanting to spend a few days in Avalon.

The wifi passcode was wrong and no one knew the correct code. Also, I saw there was laundry when I booked, but that is not available.
