This top level condo has been transformed into a colorful, contemporary, fun place to stay. The large balcony, which can be accessed from both the living room and the bedroom, is furnished with lounge seating and a raised height dining table to enjoy the panorama. This condo features a large flat panel TV, DVD player and i-Pod dock stereo. In addition to the Cal king bed in the bedroom, there is a fold-out queen size sofa bed in the living area. The bedroom has a sliding privacy partition for when the fold out bed is in use. This vacation home also offers wireless internet access, a propane BBQ and a fully equipped kitchen. A total of 749 square feet. C58 | | Occupants subject to Bahia Vista Condo Owners Association Rules and Regulations. | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). ----- ***Bahia Vista pool has re-opened. Hours of operation: 9am-9pm daily. The jacuzzi is only heated during the weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) until Memorial weekend. Both pool and jacuzzi will be heated from Memorial weekend to Labor Day and during Thanksgiving and Christmas break.** This property is in a residential community and is only suitable for quieter groups. NO smoking, NO parties/events. NO pets allowed per HOA rules. You must be 25+ years old to rent this property. No daytime visitors allowed. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before booking. Violations of these rules will result in immediate eviction with no refunds. We loved the place! Nice big deck overlooking the city and part of the ocean. Great response by host on minor concerns. Well supplied kitchen. Only thing we didn't notice when we booked - no air-conditioning. Luckily the nights cooled off a bit.

Amazing!

This property was perfect for our anniversary weekend trip. It’s in an amazing location and the view was incredible. The home itself was so cute and perfect for the two of us. When we come back to Catalina we wi definitely stay here again!

The property was clean, well stocked with cooking and grilling items, and the view is breathtaking. If i return. I will be staying here again. Set back from the hustle of the waterfront, but only a short walk there, it is ideally positioned. I was able to stop by the agency's office on Catalina right by the property, and they were very helpful with a check in issue i had. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It had a wonderfully large balcony and a beautiful view of the casino and the ocean. We were a five minute walk to the grocery store and less than 10 minutes to town. Everything was very accessible. There were even beach chairs in the deck box in case we wanted them. The condo itself was perfect for a couples getaway. Our only recommendation would be to have better curtains in the bedroom as it is quite bright in the morning.I would highly recommend this location and this unit and I would definitely rent this property again. It is noteworthy that the complex has very strict quiet hours starting at 10 PM and very strict noise limitations for the pool. This was fine for us and we enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway spot! Private patio and excellent view!

Well maintained property! Felt very comfortable staying here! The view of this property was a big plus!!! Only drawback is that the jacuzzi won't be heated during the week. Unfortunate because we like to travel during the week, defiantly need a heated one after a day of mountain bike riding!

If you're looking for a cozy spot with views of the vista and city then this place is for you. Everything is on point in this cozy top-floor apartment. Excellent care has been taken to curate a look and feel of island life relaxation. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely although the WiFi was very slow and wasn't able to function well enough to stream the TV. But honestly, that is not why you vacation now is it? (Smile) The owners have done a tremendous job and we will be returning again if fortune favors the brave! 5 out of 5 stars from us!

The condo is Okay. The outdoor furniture was very dirty and there was dirty q tips on the balcony.There was long black hair on the sheets and in the bathroom. The upstairs neighbor is so loud. It sounded like he was moving furniture at midnight. The pics of the pool are deceiving. It’s a lot smaller. I never used the pool because there was a ton of screaming little kids everyday there. They might live there. I would not return it wasn’t worth the price. Oh and there is no Air Conditioning.

Not what was expected.

First for the amount of money per night why do i need to wash the few dishes we had? And take out the trash? The curtains were very thin and allowed the lights from the outside of the building to shine into our room. It couldn't get dark? That was very frustrating? Then there's the heater? There needs to be more explanation of this old heater system? The dial was very old and hard to read the temps, then there are no vents for heat to come out? Nothing in the ceiling nothing on the floors or the walls. You turn the heater on then after a couple of hours it starts to warm? But where is the heat coming from? So i finally felt some heat and it was coming from the cieling, the drywall on the ceiling near the slider doors to the patio was super hot to touch. I think there is something wrong with this system. Someone needs to look into the safety of this. There is a resident that lives above that makes noise until 3am both nights? The duscription states that it the top of the building. Don't know what he was doing. Then there's the pool and spa that it mentions in the details. Under construction, I spoke to a full time resident there and she said it has been under construction for 4 years at least. So don't say you have a spa when there is not one there. The TV, DVD player and cable controls are all jacked up and you need a manual to figure out how to operate it. It was worth maybe half the price per night that i paid. I wish I could get a refund. Attractive, comfortable, nicely decorated unit with lots of thoughtful and artistic touches. The deck is lovely. Location is good, just a few short blocks from everything. Third-floor unit out of four; upstairs people were occasionally noisy and smoking weed. Even with the elevator, there were a lot of stairs, which made for a hard time hauling luggage. The towels on the rack and the bedspread did not seem freshly laundered. Laundry facilities wouldn't take cash or my card; I had to install an app, but that was fairly easy. The centrally located pool and hot tub clearly had been drained for some time, and really should be removed from the listing. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Unbelieveable

I had no issue with the property the issue I had was with Vrbo staff who took my call and made the day before my trip horrible because they could not find the payment that I had made one of the operators had me on the phone for over 45 minutes trying to figure out where my money had went I had made a payment and they wanted me to make another payment, it was horrible I was on the phone from 6am- 9am trying to get an answer from Vrbo will never use them again

Disappointed

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary in Avalon this year. The picture of the deck was very pretty with the views of the Harbor. The living room couch was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. The sofa bed kept coming out from the couch. The cable tv was very hard to get it on and working. The last two days it did not work at all. Thank goodness for the outside deck. It advertise that the property had a pool. Pool was under construction. I am glad there was an elevator.

Noisy stay

I feel that the description was misleading as it was not a top unit and we could hear the long term residents above us throughout the night. Bath mat was crusty, like it had not been washed.

Catalina Condo with Amazing View

This Condo is absolutely perfect from the cleanliness, decor, balcony view, and the distance from the main boardwalk. We really enjoyed every amenity! We plan to book this condo again very soon! We highly recommend to anyone who plans to visit Catalina!

The condo is lovely and overlooks the city of Avalon.

The property is perfect for a couple. The decor is lovely. The outside deck provides space to enjoy meals, relax and barbecue if you wish. Great location, its a five minute walk to Avalon.

Modern Condo with Great View

The accommodations were great. Super clean and modern decor. We enjoyed the balcony and view the most! The only piece to keep in mind is that there are many flights of stairs, and while there is an elevator, you still need to use the stairs part of the way up. It’s not wagon friendly. Also while it’s near the grocery store, a golf cart would have made our trip much easier with our kids given all the walking. We wished it came with one and ended up getting a few taxis.
