This was a wonderful stay. The place has great charm, and the hot tub under the towering redwood a definite plus. Our hostess Kathleen was friendly and gracious, and the unit had everything needed and more.

Receiving a welcoming phone call from the host before arriving was so appreciated and made the check-in process flawless. Our stay at Secret Garden cottage with all its charmand personality, location to dining, shopping, sightseeing, and relaxing, and a few lovely surprises made our stay perfect.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful time, which was exactly what we needed while traveling with our baby.The hot tub was incredibly relaxing after our long car ride, and we found the cottage very cozy. We loved the decor, the beautiful garden, and the art supplies were a very cool touch.Check-in was seamless, and we appreciated the helpful tips labeled around the house, which made everything easy.

Nice quiet getaway

Cozy little cottage at the end of a quiet road. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub at the end of a long day was a nice treat

This property was extremely nice very clean. However, the host and family members got in a horrible fight. The police recalled yelling and screaming a lot of cussing. It was my daughter‘s birthday and it was ruined so disappointed in this is somebody could reach out so we could discuss this further it’d be greatly appreciated.

We're glad the property itself felt clean and comfortable, and we're truly sorry that an unexpected and upsetting incident disrupted your stay and your daughter's birthday. That disturbance was caused by a family member who is no longer living on the property, and it was addressed immediately by contacting authorities to have him removed. We spoke with the guest in person right after the incident, apologized directly, and provided a full refund for the stay as well as a gift & card expressing an apology. Maintaining a peaceful, safe space for our guests has always been our priority, and we remain committed to that going forward.

Recent stay in Fort Bragg

Overall a great stay. Small kitchen, but that wasn't a concern for us. We used and enjoyed the hot tub. For some parties it may be an issue that you have to talk through one bedroom to get to the other.

The cabin was very cozy and clean. The hot tub was clean and hot for a dip when we arrived ! Our kids loved the cabin and hot tub. We appreciated the various good quality art supplies that were available. Great supply of soft warm blankets and a very fun galaxy projector in one room. The cabin was very close to our family in Mendocino and we loved the surrounding Redwoods on the property. I appreciated a call the morning of our check in from the owner welcoming us and had some tips for a smooth check in.
