Beautiful Home on the Lake

My husband and I had an incredible stay at this lakefront cottage in Chautauqua! The home itself was both beautifully updated and decorated, that made the stay feel truly special! The highlight without a doubt, was the spectacular view of the lake. We spent a lot of our time on the outside deck - it was the perfect, relaxing spot to soak in the scenery and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the location was ideal, offering a quiet lakeside retreat while still being conveniently close to Bemus Point for dining and activities. Also, the host was extremely responsive and friendly!

Great place to be.

The cottage was welcoming, well decorated and very well supplied. We spent a lot of time on the porch watching the lake and bird life. Very relaxing. A large dining room table was great for meals together and playing games. The cottage is not far from Bemus Point where we enjoyed some great meals. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to relax in a great surroundings.

Cottage on the lake

Perfect spot for a getaway . Inside is beautifully done and setup for guests. The only detractor was we felt the dock on the property needs some work to make it more stable and usable especially for fishing.

Idyllic

Absolutely lovely. Our family fully enjoyed the tranquility. Temperature control requires some attention, but the owners fully explain how to make it work well for visitors. Highly recommend.

Relaxing, fun family retreat!

We had the most wonderful week away at this beautiful cottage. Great location, very clean, comfortable and cozy beds and all the kitchen amenities you could need. We loved watching the sunrise (and the ducks, herons, and loons!) from bed in the morning and sitting on the covered deck or by the fire pit in the evenings. So much attention to detail was done with the decor and it truly felt like a home away from home. The health graciously list a bunch of things to do in the area which we enjoyed, but it was also just as nice to stay at the cottage and do nothing at all. Could not recommend this place. We will definitely book again!

This place was perfect for our girls trip! The views are to die for. Beautifully decorated! The owners thought of everything, kitchen was very accommodating. Close to restaurants and wineries. The only thing was it got very hot upstairs in the bedrooms. They had a fan that sucked up the hot air but it was still extremely hot. We went in April and we had the heat on because it was still cold out so it maybe different in the summer with the air conditioning on. Would definitely book this place again.
