About this property

Our guest reviews are most believable & say it best...
“This is a magical spot! Beautiful house located 1 quiet street back from Smiths Lake and well hidden behind shrubs and trees. The space is stylish, light and airy, with lovely new bathrooms & a large, well-equipped kitchen. Close to exceptional beaches including Cellito, Blueys & Seal Rocks.
The garden is totally secure, even for our Houdini dog. The kayaks and dinghy were well-used by the whole family and the dogs. Toby is an excellent host.”
Love our new wood fired pizza oven next to our giant entertaining deck - we have a couple of foodies in our family who love to use it and invite guests over to share the fun.
Couple of great restaurants in nearby Blueys now, plus 2 Clubs providing great 'RSL style' food. Plus Forster is now a booming restaurant scene with many choices and is just 30 minutes drive away.

About the host
Hosted by Toby Marshall
Bit of an eco warrior - so built this new house to be as green as possible within the ridiculous local government regulations.
We also wanted the house to be large enough to cope with our growing extended family - with the ability to keep the adorable (but noisy) grand kids in a separate Pavilion. And for each bedroom to have comfortable seating for quiet reading.

Why they chose this property
The exraordinarily beautiful lake just across the street with the hilly surrounds and no buildings visible from most spots. You could imagine yourself back 300 years ago!
The lake beach is not crowded even in January, and the trees provide great shade from midday onwards. Peaceful, quiet and shady spot to read in our deck chairs.
The many beautiful beaches we have that provide sheltered options for nearly every wind direction are the icing on the cake for us.
Then the convenience of the many shops and supermarkets on this side of Forster - just 25 minutes away.

What makes this property unique
The complete privacy the bush garden provides from the street. We don't want to see people nor have the need to dress up to impress them!
