Nice place to stay. Only thing I noticed was the screen door and downstairs bathroom door need to be fixed. And there is only one exit. But other than that the place was comfortable and clean. Would stay again if we are in the area.
Nice older farm house with all the quirky stuff. Could use some updates. And repairs. Leaky sink and broken storm door, but nothing major. Enjoyed the water access. Thanks
Convenient very clean but we were hardly there except to sleep. Thank you

The unit is clean and adequate. It is located to some nice trails, shopping, and the arts, if that is what you want to do. If you want to do a tour of the lake, make your reservation 2-3 weeks before your arrival. The AC units are inadequate. Only 1 AC for the entire first floor. Only one bedroom on the 2nd floor had a decent AC unit. The deck is in disrepair and does not look safe at all. Can't do much on the water except stand on the dock and look at the sunset.

Spacious and beautiful view of the lake
This rental was quite spacious and could easily accommodate more than just the 4 adults we had. The building is older and some minor inconveniences go along with that like a front door that doesn't open all the way and a lack of outlets in several rooms including the second bathroom. The view from the dock is beautiful and the little dock was great for launching kayaks from, but the "shared" deck wasn't really sharable. Another unit has a sliding glass door with no curtains that lead onto it and you feel like you are invading their space if you sit on it. The plants along the driveway needed to be cut back because it was difficult to unload from both sides of the car without pushing plants aside, and if it had rained, getting quite wet. The host was very responsive and was able to assist me when I needed to locate a few items. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the welcome tray of snacks. It was nice to be close to town to get bagels or pizza but the noise from traffic was loud in the front rooms, particularly. Overall a good place to stay with a responsive host.

It's an older house with typical charm/quirks.We never received any communication message or email prior to arrival, so we did not know how to get in. Messages we left prior to arrival in the app were never answered or acknowledged. Finally after a couple calls and waiting on an automated hold for 15 minutes out in the cold we were able to reach someone that gave us a door code. One of the bedrooms we had to close off because it was infested with hundreds of lady bugs. The host never responded to our inquiry about this issue. We expected the home to be dated, which was fine, but the beds were very old and uncomfortable with terrible sag or other issues. They were covered in a crinkly plastic as were the pillows. Just a replacement of the beds with 300 mattresses and basic pillows would have made the experience much better. The heat only worked in part of the house. The carpeting in bedrooms looked a few decades old.On the bright side, the wifi and tv were good. Other than the infestation, the house was relatively clean. It had good water pressure in the showers. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked well stocked and usable. We weren't there much except to sleep, and sleeping was not great. The bedroom next to the street was also quite loud due to trucks. The house is also for sale, so I imagine there won't be any improvements made.Overall, it's an okay place, but I wouldn't stay there again.
