Very functional little basement suite with great hosts who live upstairs. Excellent location: cute, very quiet little close-knit neighbourhood just around the corner from Commercial Drive, fifteen minutes to downtown Van, and about the same distance to Metrotown in Burnaby. Just as advertised and a great price.

Easy check in & host was available to help with any questions or concerns. We had our dog & neighborhood was good for walking & also convenient for places we wanted go. They have a beautiful & productive garden.Everything worked in the unit.Be sure to ask how to hook up dishwasher because it is a portable one you have to roll to the sink.Property is older & shows signs of age. Bed was nice but towels were worn. Backyard in pictures doesn’t look like what we expected. It could use some attention.

Great stay

Great communication with the host, easy check in and out process. Super clean. Comfortable beds. We were there for about a week and felt like it was home. The host was amazing: super friendly, welcoming, generous (with their garden, and thank you so much for that!), and warm. We highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Gilles and his family were great guests to have visit our space. Great communication and took great care of our space and really just nice people to be around. They got great weather so they seemed to make the most of their visit to our region.

Great space for a family!

The most wonderful and accommodating hosts who took the time to make sure we had everything we needed. This place is equipped with everything you need and more. A decent distance by bus from downtown and tourist attractions. There is no need for a car.

We were surprised to find the rooms were in the basement with the family living upstairs. I don’t think it was disclosed that way in the ad. The hosts were very friendly and we were comfortable there. Great location.

The host was extremely personable and helpful. Very accommodating. There wasn’t as much to do nearby as we had hoped but the bus system is quite efficient to get you to where you need to go.
