A true country villa set amongst beautiful gardens and olive trees. Our group of eight enjoyed the outdoor spaces for dining and socializing. The pool area was a beautiful place to relax. The 17th century villa was comfortable and updated while keeping its rustic charm. The location of the villa is close to the town of Impruneta where you can shop for food and have dinner, though the walk is a bit hilly. The local bakeries and delis have wonderful speciality items. And you are very close to Florence.Margherita was very responsive and she arranged transportation for us for our daily outings to wineries and the towns of Luca, Pienza, and Monte Pulciano. The drivers were all wonderful. If you go, try to take advantage of the dinner in the villa where a local chef cooks a delicious home cooked meal.

Our stay at the beautiful La Quercia Estates Villa was a dream ! Such a beautiful property and our host exceeded expectations. Margherita helped us with every request, and my family of eight had the best time! The Villa was beautiful and the property grounds were something out of a movie. It definitely was something “Under the Tuscan Sun” and we feel very blessed to have experienced it. We will be back to this magical place ! Many thanks to Margherita for making our stay special and the food was amazing ! Grazie Mille !

We had a nice stay at the villa. The villa and the grounds are beautiful. The host was very helpful. We liked the location as it was very quiet and serene (one caveat: you will likely need a car or other transportation to get into the local town. It is about a 30 minute walk around windy roads). The description of the services is very fulsome and the host is amenable to your requests. Overall, we had a nice stay and would recommend the villa to friends.

Marvelous time

It was absolutely marvelous. The owner of the property was so informative on places to visit, and places to eat etc. We had a wooden time and I would recommend that everyone stay here at least once in your lifetime.

We had a lovely time at LaQuerciaEstate. We were warmly greeted by Margaurite upon arrival, who showed us around the beautiful grounds and gave us a wonderful introduction to the property. The setting is absolutely breathtaking—peaceful, serene, and picture-perfect. I especially loved hearing the chickens in the morning and watching the stunning sunrise over the countryside. The interior of the estate is just as impressive. The home is gorgeous and filled with history, yet cozy and equipped with every amenity you could need. My favorite spaces were the master bedroom, the kitchen, and the living room—they felt both elegant and welcoming. The outdoor seating areas were also a highlight, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of the surroundings. Our time in Tuscany was the perfect way to end our first trip to Italy. It truly made our journey unforgettable. We will definitely be back—and next time for a much longer stay!Book it now—you won’t be disappointed!Colleen & Sean

Family holiday in Tuscany

Absolutely stunning estate. Marguerita and her staff were wonderful. In villa dinner was exceptional. Did not do the cooking class but should have! Maybe next time. Very convenient to Florence and chianti region with our rental car. Truly a memorable experience even in the 100 degree weather.

Magical

Margarita and Veronica created a memorable experience for my family. From the minute I booked, margarita has been nothing but exceptional in making sure my family would be comfortable for our stay. A stay at this exquisite villa would not be complete without a cooking experience guided by Veronica and Margarita. I highly recommend booking for an unforgettable experience. We are already planning our next stay!!

We cannot adequately express the joy of staying at this beautifully kept estate. It was the Tuscan country experience we were hoping for. We are so very glad we made time to spend at the house on some days. If we had scheduled each day we would have missed the peace and daily discoveries that came.Margherita was a thoughtful and gracious host. Loved hearing about her families legacy while we enjoyed a beautiful dinner prepared with food from their garden. Make sure you make time for that experience! We were sad to leave but hope to be back!

A great family vacation!

Villa La Quercia is comfortable and charming. We loved the private pool. We enjoyed having coffee on the patio in the morning and gathering around the kitchen table at night to discuss the day's events. We felt the location, close to Florence, provided easy access to the hill towns of central Italy. Veronica was an excellent host, even baking us goodies and taking us on the best wine tasting I've ever had. Given the opportunity, we would definitely return.

This property is stunning!

We had the most amazing experience. The home has such a rich history, it is beautifully decorated with a sophisticated mix of art, antiques, and modern touches. The furnishings are very comfortable. And then when you step outside, you have the pleasure of exploring all that Tuscany has to offer; olive trees, vineyards, vegetable/herb garden, shrubs, topiary, pool, patio, and exquisite views of the local countryside. And to top it off, the owner/host is extremely kind and helpful. She called and texted us with directions, offered resources, and made the experience very special for my family. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Magnificent!

This is such a lovely property that I enjoyed with my family for a special birthday celebration. Our host Margherita is as beautiful as the property is magnificent. She was so gracious and helpful. We so enjoyed taking a cooking class with her and her mother Veronica, who learned traditional Tuscan cooking from her grandmother. They also made a delicious dinner for us one evening. The rooms are beautifully appointed in neutral shades and very comfortable. We highly recommend this fabulous place!

Welcome home to Tuscany!

A beautiful authentic Italian villa, in the midst of the Tuscan countryside. All the benefits of being "off the grid", while in close proximity to the wonders of Florence and Siena, and numerous spectacular Tuscan villages. The property is exactly as it is described; the views are spectacular from each and every window. The home is immaculate and the owner is attentive without crowding you.

Fabulous Place!

We loved our two-week stay at La Quercia--one week with family, a second with friends. Comfortable house with wonderful pool, grounds, places to sit outside. Convenient by car or bus to Florence, plus Impruneta is a nice town with all the basic amenities. The owners live on site adjacent the villa, but ensure your privacy and are happy to provide recommendations. The house is beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed Veronica's cooking class and market tour, several delicious dinners she prepared, one with butler service. They also arranged a very fun wine tour for us. We highly recommend it!

Picturesque Tuscan villa

We loved this property! It’s the Tuscan experience we were looking for. Margarita is a wonderful host who is respectful of your privacy but has another separate home on the land, so is helpful if needed. The house is incredible! It was built in the 1600’s but has been completely updated. The views are dreamy with all the olive trees and vineyards. Would love to come back and stay for a longer period of time when the weather is a little warmer! I would take Margarita up on their stocking of grocery service. Thanks for our incredible Tuscan experience!

La Quercia a Wonderful Place to Stay

Our May 2025 stay was perfect! La Quercia is in great shape, everything works and looks great. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with tons of plants. If you're a gardener, you'll appreciate the work that went into it. Veronica and Margherita are wonderful hosts, they live on-site in a separate house—a huge plus if you need anything. Don't miss Veronica's the cooking class, it's awesome, and get Margherita to pre-shop for you—it was perfect. Margherita's great at arranging transport and tours from the villa; use her service, it makes things so much easier. One thing: in May, temps swing from 70F to 50F at night, so bring layers. That Nespresso with fresh cream is a treat, perfect for the covered porch, watching the wildlife and enjoying the song birds.

La Quercia is absolutely stunning. The villa is homey and inviting, with lots of wonderful places to gather over a meal, a glass of wine, or morning coffee -with the outdoor spaces even more beautiful than the rooms inside. The gardens are immaculate and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Margherita was incredibly patient and kind, working with me for months prior to our visit, to plan the trip of a lifetime for our group. She graciously coordinated our transportation, our bike tour of the countryside, as well as the most incredible classic Italian home cooked meal served in our villa. Veronica worked all afternoon creating the most unbelievable meal for us - it was absolutely delicious. The villa was perfectly intimate and private, but at the same time, we felt incredibly welcomed by our hosts, as though we were long lost relatives that they invited to stay. Our only feedback for improvement is 1) the beds are very firm. (I think it might be an Italian preference) and 2) the lighting could be better, especially in the bathrooms. Seriously, book it. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic Villa

Our family of 8 (4 couples) had an amazing week at La Quercia. The property is beautiful, each bedroom comfortable, and we enjoyed walking in the vineyards and olive groves behind the house. It was even warm enough to enjoy the pool one day in mid-April. Very quiet and private location, but only a 2 minute drive / 20 minute walk into town. We enjoyed several dinners at La Loggettina restaurant on the main square in Impruneta, other nights we shopped at the Coop and cooked in the fabulous kitchen at the villa. Veronica and Margherita were great to communicate with, quick to respond to questions, and helped with restaurant reservations in Florence. We also loved Veronica's cooking class on our last evening. Great location for day trips we took to Florence, Siena, Chianti, Pisa, Volterra. A perfect vacation and would be happy to return one day.

Amazing Villa with amazing Mother/Daughter Hostess

WOW! A story book place. The villa was exactly as advertised- great layout, setup, and gorgeous views! The property is beautifully maintained and the surrounding roses, herbs, jasmine, and linden trees leave you breathless. Veronica and Margherita were lovely hostesses attending to whatever we asked for. We LOVED the butler service dinner on our first night of arrival. The food and service were just lovely as we looked out over the olive groves. The cooking class was unforgettable and left me wanting to stay for a month just to soak up the passion and love for cooking that Veronica has. The location was perfect for visiting Florence, Sienna, and the many quaint towns that dot the Tuscan countryside. LOVED this Villa and hope to be back some day. Highly recommend!!!!

Memories for a lifetime!

Our family of eight had been anticipating this vacation to Tuscany for several years. When we arrived in Impruneta and drove the winding roads to Villa La Quercia our expectations were exceeded!!! The views were breathtaking and the Villa was so charming, warm and inviting as were Margherita and Veronica. We has arranged for a butler served dinner the night of arrival which was prepared by Veronica. The meal included wine from their vineyards and olive oil from their olive groves. Everything was delicious. The location of the Villa made for an easy bus ride into Florence and a short car ride to Sienna and other villages in the area. The pool was a welcome site after a day of touring. We are happy to recommend this Villa for your vacation and would love to return ourselves.

Quintessential Tuscany

We loved our stay at Villa La Quercia and would recommend it without hesitation. It was better than advertised. It was very clean and the grounds were well maintained. the pool was private and we spent many evenings there before dinner. There are 3 outdoor patios with tables and chairs that are perfect for family dinners. Inside the villa are 4 bedrooms each with full bath. the master bedroom is very large and has a separate dressing area and large master bath with separate tub and shower. The villa is close to Impruneta which has a nice square and several excellent restaurants and bars. It has easy access to Florence and other cities via car or bus. An added bonus were the owners who were extremely nice and helpful. They made recommendations on where to go and were happy to make reservations for wine tours, museums, and restaurants.
