Amplia casa de retiros "turn-of-the-siglo 'de tres temporadas ubicado en 15 acres de bosque con acceso al litoral en Silver Lake. Perfecto para retiros de grupos pequeños y reuniones familiares o simplemente un momento de tranquilidad lejos de todo. Ubicado a dos horas de Boston y tres millas de la pintoresca Harrisville. Relájese en el porche que da a Mt. Monadnock y astilla Lake, uno de los lagos más prístinos de NH. Preciosa caminata de 7 minutos por el bosque hasta la orilla del mar con casa de botes, muelle, canoa y bote de remos. Gran natación, la pesca y la navegación. Cocina bien equipada con dos despensas, comedor (asientos 20 +) con chimenea y sala de estar. Por un tiempo más fresco, estufas de gas en la cocina y sala de estar. Dos dormitorios en planta alta. Porche de segundo piso dormitorio principal, seis dormitorios en el segundo piso. Gran senderismo (Mt. Family reunion.

We enjoyed a wonderful family gathering (10 adults and 8 children) at Monadnock Manse. Perfect place to relax and enjoy each others company. Room for 10 young children to run, play and everyone enjoyed swimming down at the lake. Definitely hope to make a return trip

Family Reunion

Great place for a family reunion, as this was our second time visiting it felt like home. Love the area, the lake and the wrap around front porch. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our surroundings.

This was our 2nd time having our large (19) family member gathering at this unique, wonderful house! The house easily accommodates a large group. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pans, utensils, 2 refrigerators, making it easy to feed a large group. They have access for canoes and kayaks on a beautiful lake, a ping-pong table, and had badminton net set up...allowing activities for everyone. Ruth and Hanna were very helpful and easily available for any questions. The view/location of the house is outstanding. If you're looking for a truly New England experience and have a large group this is the place to stay!! Thanks Ruth/Hanna.

Family Retreat

This was our fourth time visiting and we absolutely love it. Perfect getaway with views of monadnock, a few lovely steps to Silver lake, and the cozy New England cottage vibe offer a true feeling of being at home away from home. Hope we see you next year!

Good place to stay with lots of outdoor activities nearby

Nice place with big rooms and enough place to sleep. Friendly and welcoming owners. They have kayak and canoe at their lake. We were little late during check out but they were accommodating and helpful. Will be back again!

A great place for a family gathering.

This was our third summer - once again we enjoyed ourselves- swimming, porch sitting, hiking, cooking, eating, biking, croquet on the lawn. We visited the yarn shop in Harrisville and went a second time to the Caterpillar Lab. All in all it’s a great place to be.

Great Group Getaway

Our group of 5 families with teenagers (17 people) stayed at the Monadnock Manse for a long weekend. The property was absolutely perfect for us! We enjoyed games on the lawn, cooling off in the lake, group meals in the dining room, and hours upon hours of hanging out on the huge porch. Ruth was a great host and the home was well stocked with plenty of space for everyone! We hope to make it an annual tradition!

Famiky reunion

We always love visiting Silver Lake and The Manse is large enough to accommodate our group under one roof. The front porch is our favorite spot with a beautiful view of both the lake and the mountain. The kitchen is well equipped to feed large groups and plenty of space for dining inside and out. We’ve stayed here multiple times and have great memories!

Family getaway

We were looking for a place to decompress and this was it. Solitude, a cottage vibe and beauty abound here. The porch was the ideal hangout place for morning coffee, lunch after a dip and fishing at the lake (nothing like a NH lake-clear to the bottom) and cocktail hour. We would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Unique House

My family had a reunion here over a decade ago and had such wonderful memories that when the opportunity to get together with family came up we knew this is where we wanted to stay. Such a cool old house in a relaxing setting. It is stocked with absolutely everything you need to have a wonderful time with a large group. And it was great to have access to everything in the boathouse to fully enjoy the beautiful lake. We had a great time and can’t wait to come again.

Relaxing Family Reunion

Our family of 13 from NH, DC, and TX had a wonderful week at The Manse - a step back in time large cottage in a perfect location to explore the Monadnock region. Even our one rainy day didn’t dampen our spirits as we played games, did jigsaw puzzles, read, took naps and prepared for more hiking the next day. A great time was had by all.

My husband and I rented this quaint, adorable getaway home for our extended family! Our daughter‘s wedding was at a venue nearby. It was perfect! The family loved it and had a wonderful time! Clean, quiet and private! We would recommend for any large family or reunion! The owner was extremely accommodating!
